Great location for bars , trams , sightseeing & views of the river

We had 4 apartments. Just an observation. The 1st floor the room was fantastic. However, it smelt of damp, sorry to say. Maybe that's because the window couldn't be left open as on the ground fall & maybe need a guard rail there for security. Apart from that 👍

We had budget double room at the front of the hotel. It’s in a buzzy touristy area but we were not disturbed. Air con worked well. Bedding really nice. Handy for #28 tram that stops outside. Close to castle and some wonderful viewing spots

Frosted glass en suite made for more intimacy than usual, although design was clever. It’s on a v steep street so poss not suitable for those with limited mobility (and made getting round during an exceptional hot spell uncomfortable)

The staff were great to work with. Location is central to most activities but the only minus would be long, steep uphill walks back to the hotel.

The breakfast dining facility was tiny and made moving around very difficult.

An excellent hotel. Clean and comfortable, very friendly staff. Good location in historic Alfama. Next to a tram stop. Rooms were quiet (no lift noise, little noise from the street below). Wifi excellent. Towels changed daily. The apartment was very good but maybe the "Deluxe" tag was slightly over-stretching it!

Not a complaint. The breakfast was good but there was no variety so if you are there for several days it never changes even once. Breakfast was served in quite a small area so got very tight for space when busy

The welcome and assistance. The staff were approachable to ask for help and the gentleman who was on duty and welcomed me most of the time was most gracious and respectful ensuring I had all I needed. I knew I could enjoy a lovely breakfast there with no pressure it was just available to enjoy and the facilities were very comfortable, the shower was fantastic and the decor was quaint but in line with the local area. I loved the pieces of art used as mirroirs etc. All in all I would highly recommend. Central with access to restaurants and 3 quality breakfast and coffee shops within 1 to 2 mins. Take ear plugs as can be lively at night. Excellent air conditioning

The bar next door overcharged me for a double gin and tonic at 28 euros but that isn't part of the hotel. But I feel that it would be nice if the hotel ensured the waiter didn't take advantage of lone traveller ladies who are staying with them but highlighting this to the owner of the bar next door. It would be good if they could work together. I didn't make the hotel aware but feel they should know.

We arrived quite early in Lisbon and did not expect to be able to check into our room until later in the day. We thought we would drop our bags at the hotel and do some sightseeing until our room was ready. We were delighted when we were given a room upgrade and access right away early in the morning. After a long overnight flight, this made our day so much better. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We loved the location and the decor. Great place to say in Lisbon and we would return without hesitation.

Nothing comes to mind - it was great

The room was exactly as it showed on the picture, however, when you come to Lisbon and then to this beautiful hotel it blows your mind :) Really beautiful, stylish and lovely. Fantastic service from Diego and so close to everything, including trams 12E & 28E to the centre, a stones-throw away from the Castle and Alfama, viewpoints and shops and restaurants. Also really good suggestions from Diego for restaurants and Fado. Really amazing. Breakfast good and well organised.

Nothing. I asked for more hangers and was given them immediately, service was absolutely great.

The apartment is fantastic value for money, located close to the castle, cathedral and multiple view points, surrounded by bars and restaurants. The apartment has everything you need and is decorated very artistically. We absolutely loved it

The WiFi was very weak on the top floor but nothing I could live without.

This was a gem of a place! Staff very friendly & helpful. Hotel "apartment" was so cool, everything you needed. Loved the wine - thank you!

This is picky...the see through frosted bathroom doors & shower. For a family it gave us giggles. But prefer more privacy. Also bathroom door is right in main bedroom. For family would prefer wall with entrance from hall. Shower floor a bit dirty looking but I think it's just wear over time. Again, but picking & only pointing it out in case someone is super privacy conscious or someone is an exhibitionist.
