Great location for bars , trams , sightseeing & views of the river

We had 4 apartments. Just an observation. The 1st floor the room was fantastic. However, it smelt of damp, sorry to say. Maybe that's because the window couldn't be left open as on the ground fall & maybe need a guard rail there for security. Apart from that 👍

The staff were great to work with. Location is central to most activities but the only minus would be long, steep uphill walks back to the hotel.

The breakfast dining facility was tiny and made moving around very difficult.

The apartment was spacious and had amazing views from all of the windows and balconies, as well as being very close to the castle. Everything worked well. It was nice to have a washing machine. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. We found the walk to and from down town fine, and it’s easy to get a taxi or a tuk tuk if you don’t want to walk. Breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The area was busy during the day, but got quiet after 10 or so at night.

The apartment is fantastic value for money, located close to the castle, cathedral and multiple view points, surrounded by bars and restaurants. The apartment has everything you need and is decorated very artistically. We absolutely loved it

The WiFi was very weak on the top floor but nothing I could live without.

The room was exactly as it showed on the picture, however, when you come to Lisbon and then to this beautiful hotel it blows your mind :) Really beautiful, stylish and lovely. Fantastic service from Diego and so close to everything, including trams 12E & 28E to the centre, a stones-throw away from the Castle and Alfama, viewpoints and shops and restaurants. Also really good suggestions from Diego for restaurants and Fado. Really amazing. Breakfast good and well organised.

Nothing. I asked for more hangers and was given them immediately, service was absolutely great.

Firstly the staff at this hotel are very professional and friendly. Breakfast is a delicious buffet and there is an excellent menu for dinner. Or there are several places in the neighborhood to eat or have a drink. Although the front of the building gives the impression that it is a small hotel, the rooms are roomy, confortable and clean. The location is another plus.

Great location, right in the heart of Alfama. Spacious and stylish room, has a little kitchenette, very clean. The staff is also very friendly. And they even give you a bottle of wine as a compliment!

There is nothing to dislike really, overall it is very quiet. But even though we were staying on the last floor for guests, there is another floor above which is probably for the staff, so we could hear them walking and moving furniture in the morning. It was slightly annoying but not too bad and not too long.

Attractive room overlooking the street. It was quiet at night with windows closed and good curtains to keep out the light. I loved the little seat next to the window to watch what was happening outside. The kitchenette was fine for preparing breakfast or simple snacks. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Extra touches like the coffee capsules and the wine were appreciated. They were happy to organise a fado restaurant booking and an early airport pickup. The room was freshened up daily. The location is an easy walking distance to the Castle, Cathedral and lookouts, and plenty of restaurants.

The shower was difficult to use and adjust the water temperature. No towel racks. The bathroom itself was partly encased in opaque glass with a privacy curtain across the entrance. We got used to it, but it was a strange setup. The room lighing was a bit dim.

Great staff. Very friendly people really. The best Aircondition I have had during my vacation in Portugal. Good location, it takes 10-15 min walk down to the city centre. You can take a tram, but I walked. Good that it is a bit outside of the hustle and bustle of the very central parts of the downtown. There is always some breeze up on the hills. They have nice breakfast possibilities. My room was facing backyard, so no issues with potential noise from the street with trams, tuk tuks etc.

All was good. It is kind of in between metro stops, be prepared for roughly 15-20 min walk or take a cab (tuk tuk), especially if you cary heavy bag in that hot weather.

The location near old town was what we enjoyed the most. A very quaint hotel location with some charm in the surrounding area. Very simple overall experience.

Getting luggage from the car into the hotel was a bit tough. Steep entrance from the cobble stone road/path, plus stairs made it a tad challenging. Night life in the surrounding area can be a bit loud if one is trying to get some solid sleep. Other than that... all was good.
