The property was larger than we expected and we were very comfortable. The location was great - a 5 minute walk to the no.28 tram stop, the metro and a good supermarket. It is half way up the hill to the Castello de Sao Jorge so if you do not like walking, you may not like the location. There were also a number of convenience stores on the street as well as little eateries. We would definitely stay there again. Also, Booking.Com were very prompt in responding to any requests we had.

We had nothing to complain about.

Our apartment is on ground floor with door facing the street. We didn't hear any street noise at night when we closed 2 doors. The apartment is bright and fully equipped. There is an public escalator from Martim Moniz square up to the building so very convenient for your luggages, however the escalator is one way only so you will need to either carry your luggages down the stairs or walked down the road (5 mins walk downhill no stairs) to the metro. We did not go out at night so overall we feel safe during our stay. There is a Confidente supermarket at Martim moniz square with wide range of supplies. The apartment is fully equipped so you can cook here if needed. From here only a short walk under 15 mins to Miradouro Santa Luzia and Porta dos Sols and San Antonio pasteis de nata. Tram 28 is also nearby.

The guests upstairs were very noisy during their stay, their small kids kept running, jumping up and down and threw big things to the floor until very late at night. Of course this is not the host's fault but if you travel with children, please at least respect other neighbours. We tried to talk to the guests upstairs but they didn't cooperate.

The hotel's location is very good, and if you check in online before entering the hotel, you can easily enter the hotel. Almost all the facilities in our suite were complete and new.

The hair dryer in our suite was old and very weak and needs replacing. We were staying on the second floor and perhaps having an elevator in the hotel would help, but there doesn't seem to be room for one. Finally, as a suggestion, given that the kitchens of all suites are complete and up-to-date, it would be better to put some food items such as spices or even oil in the kitchen, but it is not a major issue.

Everything we would need was provided, WiFi, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, hairdryer, air conditioner. The space was well used. Whenever we emailed host (to ask for clean towels, more toilet roll), we received a prompt response and by the time we returned to the apartment the items requested were there. We met David on checking in and he was very friendly and helpful.

Only one armchair provided. I think it would be better with 2 armchairs and remove small table which wasn’t of much use. Bathroom could do with upgrading but was sufficient for our 4 night stay. Very noisy neighbours in apartment directly above, they always seemed to be dragging furniture around or dropping things on a ceramic floor, even in the middle of the night. Apart from the neighbours it was a pretty quiet neighbourhood.

Perfect location for walking round all the sights plus lots of interesting eating places. Near the Metro so next time will get Metro from airport for €1.50 rather than taxi for €20. Apartment had everything I needed but might be too small for a couple or a longer stay.

Nothing really. But anyone with limited mobility should note that there is no lift and the stairs are steep and narrow.

The apartment was clean and spacious. We loved the location, very close to the city center. Also, the escalator was nearby. There were plenty of restaurants nearby. Also couple of small grocery stores which was very handy, especially during the Christmas time as they are were open. It was possible to have a cleaning service every day. The cleaner guy way very nice and kind. Also, i accidentally closed the safe incorrectly and help came in 30 min. Which was amazing!

As expected, it was quite noisy due to the fact that walls were very thin and you could hear people walking at the stairs and also in the apartment above.

The view of the apartment is magnificent. The apartment is well located if you want to be in Alfama and it´s one stair away from the Baixa, so it´s perfect. David was very kind to us been always at our service and keeping clean the room.

The apartment has not lift and we were at the 4th floor. Stairs are not comfortable to go up and down every day and worst with luggage. That is not mention as information in the booking. It´s important to be clear on that specific information.

Near city center, good space for 5 people, clean

We had a wonderful 3 days in the apartment. It’s very easy to check-in at the machine and quickly settle. Excellent location, 5-7 minutes walk from the center. And on the other side is the old Alfama district with beautiful viewing platforms. A good option for an inexpensive holiday. The kitchen has everything you need. Kettle, salt, sugar, dishwasher, tableware, microwave. Clean! Snow-white bed linen and towels. Cleaning was done every day. It is very important that the bed is really comfortable and large.

The downside for us was the strong audibility of footsteps from above. We lived on the 1st floor. No voices were heard. Also a floor was cold. But this is December. For children, it is better to take slippers.

The apartment was beautiful and situated well with amazing views from the balcony. Enough room for my stay with plenty of extras and appliances. Fresh towels, shampoo/conditioner and shower gel provided. Great touch with the water and snacks. Great value for money. Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

The only downside was the smell coming from the drain in the shower which wasn’t too pleasant but if the door was shut it wasn’t as bad in the rest of the apartment and the shower head was broken so had to keep it in your hand
