Lovely hotel with super facilities and attentive staff. Our family room at the top of the building was super, plenty of room and very good AC, breakfast better than expected, and in general very recommended

With the road the hotel is on being closed long term there is a brutal 75 step climb to the hotel from the nearest accessible road. This was tough for myself with luggage, I can’t imagine how an elderly person or someone ever slightly physically disabled would manage. Even though the staff were otherwise super, they had demanded I give them an arrival time but no help was offered with my bags. This was disappointing.

We found the room comfortable for our needs. Although it was in the eaves of the property, it felt spacious. The breakfast was simple but consistently topped up during the morning and was available until 11 o'clock. The view is great, and overall, the accommodation felt relaxed.

The location whilst being near the castle and having good views it is a challenging climb each day. We found it noisy during the night and early morning due to nearby construction sites. We enjoyed our stay but felt the location did let the property down a little. I would not recommend for solo travellers as there can be some unsavoury people around in the evenings.

Location = Excellent (except for the steps) - 15mins stroll into the heart of the City. Property Facilities = Excellent. Room = Excellent. - Shower Excellent. Breakfast = Superb - we had an early checkout on the last day and the staff prepared a breakfast for us the evening before. Pool Area = Very good - small but refreshing. Staff = Excellent. WiFi = Very good.

Lisbon is very hilly, and our Location was at the top of many many steps. Thankfully there was an escalator 2/3rds of the way up ... but this closed at 10pm every night.

Authentic property with amazing views! Great central location, very nice rooms with comfortable bed (perfect for napping after a day climbing the steps of Lisbon haha). Staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. Nice touch to have spa facilities for individual room use. We got used to the 77 steps up to the property pretty quick!

Nothing! We would stay again. We only used the Spa area once as felt like the pool could do with a clean (maybe as we used it at the end of the day)? Other than that we needed to knock to our neighbours and ask they be considerate as they were making a lot of noise at 12am but that is no fault of the property.

Hotel staff were very friendly, spoke excellent English and were extremely helpful. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Fantastic view over Lisbon from the breakfast hall and outdoor bar/terrace. Access to sauna and jacuzzi was bookable in advance - each room can book a 45 min slot at the beginning of the day, so you get the space for yourself in that time. Little kitchenette was ideal for preparing small meals. Room was nice temperature and quiet. Breakfast options were quite limited but good quality. Located in a residential district, so quiet with a few takeaway places nearby to grab some food.

Breakfast/reception room was quite small for the amount of people that were staying there - you can also take breakfast outside on the terrace or in your room. No elevator in the property as it is quite old. Location was good (5 min walk to the nearest metro station) but a bit out of the way if you are a lone traveller. No cars could get to the property so you have to walk to the nearest road for a taxi etc, which isn't far but down a steep flight of stairs (see pictures) - don't take a heavy suitcase like we did, as it will be difficult to carry this up the stairs - as well as through the steep, cobbled streets of Lisbon - when you arrive!

Excellent service from the staff, Breakfast was great, views were exceptional. Sauna and hot tub/pool.

Very minor comments as we really enjoyed our stay! No where to dry towels in the room. There was no shower in the spa area so the hot tub/pool had gone foamy from the chlorine reacting to people going from the sauna, sweating and washing off in the pool, bit grim. We couldn't sit on the balcony because the cushions had all been left out in the rain and were always wet and needed to be put away to stay dry. The big coffee machine seems to be on its last legs as it took very long to pour a coffee. However we really loved our time there and want to visit again

The spa is great, you get 45 minutes on your own, the hotel provides extra towels but don't forget your swimsuits or you'll be roaming Lisboa in search of some :) We really enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi after a long day of sightseeing! The breakfast was also wonderful, a good variety of sweet and savoury. Bathroom had everything too. Bed was comfortable.

Getting to the Hotel is a feat due to numerous stairs, but we were prepared for that. It is an old building and you can't change that. However, the Hotel could think of installing a kind of doorstoppers so the doors don't slam hard. The closet in the room wasn't very useful as it was flimsy and needed to be fixed to the wall.

I had an excellent experience at Castello Prime Suits. I loved the place itself. As soon as you enter the facility you are amazed by the terrace view- especially after climbing all those Lisbon stairs. The location is comfortable- close to the airpot by train and walkable to any attraction in the city. The pool is small but you have a great time to enjoy yourself, especially if you are with your partner because you book a time slot only for you. The staff was extra nice and helpful.

I loved everything about this property.

Wow! Great location to explore off the beaten track whilst accessible to the key places. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They even made it an extra special trip with a thoughtful celebratory gesture, a wonderful personal touch. The room was comfortable and chic. Special views from the terrace morning through night is a hidden gem. Breakfast was simple but yummy.

We're not afraid of a little hike. However, the steps and hills to the hotel are not for the faint-hearted, but don't let it put you off, there are ways round it.

Very nice room with amazing city view, good breakfast, nice and helpful staff - what's more to ask? I had a really great time!

The amazing location just under the castle is at the same time a bit of a challenge for elderly people, or people with a physical handicap. Steep cobblestone alleys and street-staircases lead to Castello Suites. I came from the metro station at Martin Moniz, with a small backpack and a (hand luggage) stroller - but needed to carry the stroller most of the time. No problem for me, but even for me it would have been no fun with a 20 kg suitcase ;) You can come closer by with a taxi and would only have to *descend* a long flight of street-stairs from uphill if the taxi driver knew their stuff (= real taxi driver, not uber or bolt).
