Location: in the old town. Perfect for visiting Lisbon and go out to eat. While not too opulent. Room: Our room had a separate sitting area with coffee maker, great. Bathroom is with bath and shower screen, works OK. Beds were excellent. TV perfect as room TV. Large safe. Breakfast: Nice buffet breakfast with show cooking. Quality products. Except for the little "Zwan" sausages :-), but that is a question of taste. Staff: very friendly and helpful. Makes really good suggestions. Luggage storage: nice safe storage room for your luggage when checked out before departure. Transfer: Hotel arranges professional class airport transfer. Building: showing its age. Well refitted to modern standards inside.

Room: Cupboard and storage very limited. Not for long stay. Pool: Not heated, not useful in winter. Lift: the lift acted up on us one time, seems like a software problem. But we were not stuck and safely delivered to our floor.

It is in a pedestrian zone so you need to account for that when arriving and departing

The pool was lovely but not many loungers and it seemed people ‘saved’ the loungers and left to have lunch away from the pool . Management need to think this through - if people leave they shouldn’t be allowed to save their lounger .

Fantastic location right in the heart of everything. Barrio Alto only a short walk away for nightlife. Fabulous hotel, lovely big room, cleaned every day, excellent food and drink service. Also a great little tapas place next door. The shower was unreal and the pool area was lovely. It's a really small cold pool but the area is a great little suntrap. Lovely to sit out and just relax for a while. Definitely recommend this hotel. And the castle st George is just a walk away, its amazing with a rooftop cafe. To be honest our sintra castle day was a disaster. Tourist traffic jam nightmare. Not worth the hassle at all

Easy to find and close to everything you might need. Close to the metro/tram and bus stops so you can get basically anywhere in Lisbon without a car (even the beach). The room was comfortable and clean and had a fridge. Cleaned daily. We had doors that opened onto the street below which was nice for people watching. The staff were incredibly helpful even when we left something in the room after check-out. The pool area, although small, had a lovely vibe and bar. It was great to have a dip after a long day of exploring.

The street can be quite noisy as you are right outside the theatre. Luckily we had earplugs but if you can, I'd ask for a room away from the street.

I stayed in room 601. The bed was very comfortable and the room was super clean. It was very quiet. All the staff I interacted with were great. It was a perfect location for us because our tours and Ubers picked us up from the Hard Rock Hotel, which is right around the corner. The breakfasts were pretty good. There's a good rotisserie chicken restaurant 2 doors down if you like that. I didn't use the pool as I had planned because all the shady places were taken by other guests. The hotel was much nicer than I expected.

Our only issue was with Booking.com. The hotel said that Booking.com reported that I was traveling solo, but I know I booked it for 2 people. So at checkout I had to pay about 100 euros more for the "second guest."

The property was immaculate. The rooms were beautifully designed. It felt very luxurious. Also, it was in a great neighborhood easy access to a lot of sightseeing on transportation if you needed it. The staff was very accommodating and kind. Margarida and the woman at the front desk were exceptional.

Be careful about which room you get. The room is towards the front can be noisy even with the windows closed so if you’re a light sleeper, you might want to request the back. I requested a room change, and the staff was able to organize that for me while I was out touring for the day.

Excellent location, with easy walking everywhere. Many restaurants close by. The hotel restaurant dinner was very good indeed. Breakfast was fine. The whole hotel, including our room, was spotlessly clean and smartly decorated. Housekeeping was exceptional and the bed was actually properly made. The sheets fitted well and were of an excellent quality, there were no hidden wrinkles. I didn't have to remake the bed as I often have to in hotels - no matter what the grade of the hotel. So massive kudos for that. In fact, the bed was a work of art. Lovely bar staff and friendly reception.

Nothing really. I would have found a magnifying mirror, and a rail for the hand towel helpful. No slippers as advertised and none available when I asked at reception. Minor details though.

Hotel Florescente is a superb hotel, located right in the centre of Lisbon and with superb staff. Our room [111] overlooked the busy street outside but the windows, all of which open completely, were more than capable of shutting the noise out. The bedroom and the bathroom were extremely spacious and well equipped and the hotel has its own restaurant and bar with tables outside. We had breakfast every morning which was more than adequate for the day with a huge choice of food.

Only a very minor thing, the TV remote control was not easy to navigate. Having said that, we didn’t have time to watch TV!

Loved the location of the hotel! one block back from market set up on sunday with various types of vendors but also on the same block as names like Gucci, Valentino, and more!! Very nice market in the square a few blocks away that had any flavor of sangria you can imagine as well as meats, cheese, food vendors, crafts and jewelry. Restaurants within a few blocks were very good, shopping was beyond amazing and the area was clean and safe to walk, I would absolutely recommend the hotel for size of the room, VERY clean, large bathroom

We had a bed that was two twin beds pushed together but nothing was keeping them together. If one of us rolled to the middle, the beds moved apart. Despite this small inconvenience, I would highly recommend the hotel
