Great location. Walking distance to attractions. Our room was nice and stylish, big enough (good size in European standards), the bed was comfortable with nice linens. Bathroom was on the small side but still very manageable. The rooms may have been remodeled recently, they were nice and modern. Staff friendly and helpful. They had a nice little restaurant in front of the hotel where we had drinks and snacks before heading out. Good value for money and lovely little hotel, very European. We wouldn’t hesitate staying here if we went back to Lisbon.

The entry to the hotel and the reception area is super small and modest, it’s like walking into someone’s living room which was deceptive when we first walked in, and we were worried the rooms would be the same. We were pleased when we went up to the room and saw that it was nice and big enough. Also, the building is on a pedestrian-only street but it’s a short walk to the street corner where uber/taxi could drop off/pick up.

Fantastic little hotel in Lisbon! Excellent location, with easy walking reach to all major sites. Excellent staff, especially the receptionists Pedro and Sofia who were very knowledgable and kind. Breakfast was varied and complete, with fruit, vegetables, sweet pastries, macarons, bread, cheese, ham, nuts, juices, coffees and teas, and eggs à la carte. Rooms were specious, comfortable, and clean. Free water throughout the stay, a free welcome drink and a bottle of wine. Can’t recommend enough, we had a wonderful stay!

The dinner menu could be larger and more typical.

Thank you Sophia and staff!! You made my stay memorable, comfortable and safe. Hotel room: I was upgraded to a beautiful room with lots of natural light and opening doors & window (3rd floor). It was such a welcome surprise. I loved the room. A friend was staying at the Marriot Ivens and my room was so much better than his in terms of size, windows and view. Staff: Sofia was so great and everyone I spoke to was genuinely, authentically interested in your comfort. Drinks: Exceptional wine selection, free glass when you check in and discounts on your stay as a guest. Wine bar open all night to buy drinks! Wifi: strong! Location: It was central to it all - walking to train, walking to taxis, walking to everything. It was fantastic.

Hotel offers $40 transport one way from airport - that’s over double what taxis cost.

Great, central location within walking distance to most of Lisbon’s most important sites, but also on a pedestrian street, which meant that the street was alive with people all day and evening long. Great staff: some of the nicest, friendliest people we met in Portugal. Great room: comfortable, beautiful and a welcome respite from the day’s hill-climbing. Great restaurant: don’t miss out on the chance to eat at the in-house restaurant. We had some of the best food of our trip there!

Modern comfortable rooms, great Breakfast and lovely staff. Location was great in the centre of Lisbon. We could walk almost everywhere and easy access to public transport for everywhere else. The beautiful terrace also provided a lovely quiet space to relax with a glass of wine.

We had a room at the front of the building which was a bit noisy early jn the morning when the restaurants were getting their deliveries. If noise bothers you definitely request a room at the rear of the property.

Our stay at Lisbon Wine Hotel was exceptional. A beautiful location in Lisbon… that was in the center of old Lisbon, with lots of history…. Fabulous restaurants, lots of shopping of all levels….. designer boutiques to souvenir shops. Our room (501) was perfectly appointed with all the amenities necessary. Our ensuite had toothbrushes, tooth paste, soaps, lotions, razor, …etc. great towels, hair dryer, rain shower and hand held shower, the room had a huge bed, great sheets and pillows and duvet. We had a sitting room area…. Lots of outlets, great windows that opened to 2 french balconies. We received a nice bottle of wine and complimentary drinks when we arrived. Our receptionist Nicole was excellent. She was very informative and helpful in every way, The breakfast was fabulous…. We had a la carte as well as buffet style…. Selection of beverages, meats, cheeses, sweet treats , fresh fruit, mimosa…. All included with our booking. The staff were very attentive. I would highly recommend everyone to book with this hotel. There are different sizes of rooms … to fit all budgets. It makes such a difference to have this type of accommodation to return to at the end of the day of walking the streets and touring beautiful Lisbon. The owners of the hotel were also present one morning and I was sure to let them know what a beautiful and well run hotel they provided for their guests. Perfect time to travel in the second week of September

The location was perfect for us, 5 mins walk from the metro, plenty of eating and drinking options nearby but still a pretty quiet and chilled out area at night, not noisy. The room had excellent AC, and all the facilities you could want. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was attractively presented on a help yourself basis. as well as eggs and bacon to order.

There isn’t a kettle in the room but the staff did offer to bring hot water up for us.

The interior was beautiful and the staff was super friendly and very helpful. They greet you with a glass of wine when you arrive. Gave great instructions on things to do and how to get around. The service was above and beyond. We had an early morning flight so would have missed breakfast, and they kindly packed us a very generous breakfast to go with juice, pastries, and even fresh pastel de nata! It is in an alleyway so it's not the Ritz, but for us to give it more of a genuine local vibe. One warning, cabs can't get you directly to the door but it's less than a five minute walk. Great value!

The staff was friendly and gave us good tips on where to do things.

When staying at a hotel, there are buffets that are on included. We were surprised that we sat down and they didn’t tell us it was not included but that might have been our fault too for not checking or asking. Next time I will ask because there were some pretty good places to eat within walking distance that was a lot more reasonable.

The breakfast was frankly amazing. Beautiful tiny crafted cakes that ere delicious alongside very high quality meats cheeses and quiche and salad. Orange juice tasted and looked like it had been freshly squeezed. Really impressed. Apart from that the staff seemed to know my name without looking it up and were super friendly professional and courteous. They exuded a pride in their establishment and rightly so. Thank you for helping to make our stay in Lisbon so memorable for us
