Location: in the old town. Perfect for visiting Lisbon and go out to eat. While not too opulent. Room: Our room had a separate sitting area with coffee maker, great. Bathroom is with bath and shower screen, works OK. Beds were excellent. TV perfect as room TV. Large safe. Breakfast: Nice buffet breakfast with show cooking. Quality products. Except for the little "Zwan" sausages :-), but that is a question of taste. Staff: very friendly and helpful. Makes really good suggestions. Luggage storage: nice safe storage room for your luggage when checked out before departure. Transfer: Hotel arranges professional class airport transfer. Building: showing its age. Well refitted to modern standards inside.

Room: Cupboard and storage very limited. Not for long stay. Pool: Not heated, not useful in winter. Lift: the lift acted up on us one time, seems like a software problem. But we were not stuck and safely delivered to our floor.

The pool was lovely but not many loungers and it seemed people ‘saved’ the loungers and left to have lunch away from the pool . Management need to think this through - if people leave they shouldn’t be allowed to save their lounger .

Excellent location, with easy walking everywhere. Many restaurants close by. The hotel restaurant dinner was very good indeed. Breakfast was fine. The whole hotel, including our room, was spotlessly clean and smartly decorated. Housekeeping was exceptional and the bed was actually properly made. The sheets fitted well and were of an excellent quality, there were no hidden wrinkles. I didn't have to remake the bed as I often have to in hotels - no matter what the grade of the hotel. So massive kudos for that. In fact, the bed was a work of art. Lovely bar staff and friendly reception.

Nothing really. I would have found a magnifying mirror, and a rail for the hand towel helpful. No slippers as advertised and none available when I asked at reception. Minor details though.

Centrally located for sight seeing restaurants bars etc Recently refurbished small foyer bar and outside dining food was good

There was a lift but I have mobility issues and take a mini disability scooter away with me The rooms are adequate but small and it was difficult to manoeuvre the scooter as we didn’t want to cause any damage to the room or scooter Also as with most older properties soundproofing is never good bit of street noise plus we could hear our neighbours coughing and they must have heard my husbands snoring but fortunately we were not next door to a homey moon couple !

Hotel Florescente is a superb hotel, located right in the centre of Lisbon and with superb staff. Our room [111] overlooked the busy street outside but the windows, all of which open completely, were more than capable of shutting the noise out. The bedroom and the bathroom were extremely spacious and well equipped and the hotel has its own restaurant and bar with tables outside. We had breakfast every morning which was more than adequate for the day with a huge choice of food.

Only a very minor thing, the TV remote control was not easy to navigate. Having said that, we didn’t have time to watch TV!

Great location, extremely helpful and friendly staff, lovely facilities. After a long international flight they were able/willing to let me check in early. Loved the deluxe room I booked, very spacious and comfortable. Loved the patio with the pool and bar. When my departing flight was cancelled the morning of, the man on duty was very kind and helpful helping me navigate the situation

My coffee machine stopped working and wasn’t able to be fixed. I didn’t pursue the issue further, and bought instant coffee. It wasn’t a huge deal.

This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of Lisbon. Our room was immaculate, good sized, comfortable bed & excellent air conditioning. Options at breakfast were varied, with a good choice of both hot & cold foods available. Staff were very friendly as well. The hotel also offered us a free drink at the bar to use throughout our stay, which we did on the first night. Would highly recommend this hotel as a base for exploring Lisbon

Sadly the pool isn't heated & is in the shade most of the day, but it's still nice for a refreshing dip at the end of the day!

Centrally located, the hotel is very good value for money, our room was quiet, overlooking the pool area, generously sized. with coffee maker, large bathroom and small sitting area. Breakfast was great, lots of choice, and the bar area is open til late at night. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Our first night was in a room at the front which despite double glazing and being on the fifth floor was a bit noisy. But the staff were great, being able to offer us a move to a very quiet room the next day,worth doing as there were still 4 nights left.

Really well located, with easy access to train station, the port and other sightseeing opportunities. Short ride by bus or uber, we did bus into town and uber back Hotel was comfortable, rooms are a good size, particularly shower and bathroom area, comfortable beds. Breakfast was ample, staff friendly and helpful

Just be aware that breakfast room gets very busy between 8 and 9 and there may be a queue, check prices for short drinks at the bar, there is a bar next door offering pint of Super Bock or decent glass of wine for €2

The location was as good as it gets. Room was pretty and bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked and I even had a French balcony. Breakfast exceeded expectations.

There was quite a strong scent of perfume in the room. In the bathroom, the shower cabin leaked water to the floor tiles and some of them had even become loose. After coming out of shower, there was water trapped under the tiles and bursting out through the seems once I stepped on the tiles. I can only imagine the amount of mold under the tiles...
