Location was perfect, although the uber took a long time to find it.

The pool was a huge disappointment. There were two broken lounge chairs out of a dozen which were not enough for the amount of people. The pool tile had green algee and was very slippery due to the residue. We deceided to only dip our legs in as it looked unhygienic. The rooms were clean and and well laid out. There was a smell from the bathroom of septic as another visitor mentioned. My issue was that the mattress was very thin and not very comfortable and the pillows also were not very comfortable. The lobby was pretty and we loved having a washer.

The location is great and the rooms are clean, modern, huge and have a fully functional kitchen. The reception staff were very helpful. Having a pool was very much needed with 30+ degree temperatures each day and the view of the Pantheon from the pool area was stunning.

The front desk being closed in the middle of the day isn't ideal for check in but they did provide an access code for the lobby where there are lockers for luggage. The pool is nice but very small for the number of rooms and when we were sitting by the pool on our last day the sprinkler system came on and soaked us and all our belongings. A couple of minor maintenance issues in the room - hook coming off the bathroom wall, some of the window blinds a bit broken. Might be nice to have a bit more furniture outside - we ended up bringing the kitchen chairs and a coffee table in and out all the time.

I loved how clean this place was! The photos absolutely do not do this place justice. The furnishings are modern and well thought out. Additionally, the windows were light and airy and everything was very clean and new. People complain about ubers not being able to access the street that Tandem is on, but the walk is very short from the street entrance and also taxis can enter the road. The toilet got clogged at one point and they had sent someone to fix it within the hour.

Nothing. I mean it, seriously, the wifi worked great, the staff were very welcoming, the apartments were very spacious. I will note that it is certainly an apartment hotel so don't book expecting it to be like a courtyard Marriott or something (I saw previous reviews complaining about that).

What a setting, in the heart of Alfama, with shops and restaurants right on the block. Easy 10 minute walk to the Santa Apolónia train station (without luggage!) The unit was extremely spacious and clean, with access to a beautiful private terrace. Plenty of room for luggage and gear. I appreciated the support and attention of staff.

A couple of items needed upgrading, such as the drying rack. It was a bit surprising that this quality accommodation wasn’t more aware of replacement needs. But these issues were certainly not deal breakers.

Would have hoped for the gym to be more equipped. Missing a weight rack at the least. Would have loved to have a housekeeping service at least once during 7 day stay

Great Location, modern clean apartment and beautifal garden with pool.

Nothing except access to the building and apartment is by code. This was sent by email which came rather late while we were travelling and didn't see it before arrival. Had to call through and be given the details. Perhaps this information can be emailed a day or two earlier?

Amazing, huge apartment complex and rooms (not at all what we were expecting from the outside as the street are so small and close together). The apartment was modern and the beds were king sized in all rooms. The most amazing bit was the back doors to all the apartment which led out to the most beautiful rooftop garden and pool area overlooking the Pantheon. A tranquil spot to have a glass of wine with an amazing view!

Very small thing but there was no washing up detergent or dishwashing tablets for dishwasher or tea towels so it was difficult to wash up. Would be good to have these available in the apartment rather than having to buy our own for 1 night stay (couldn’t take them with us as we were flying out the next morning).

The staff (Fábio) was very friendly and helpful, providing us with great tips. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. The best part was how quiet it was despite being centrally located. The washer/dryer combo was great since we only received two hand towels and four bath towels for seven nights. I will recommend this accommodation to my friends, but I will mention the few negative aspects of the place as follows:

It's a bit of a gamble which apartment you get. Our sofa had an unsightly large stain, and the bathroom flooded with water after taking a shower.

We stayed for 4 nights, 3 adults and 2 children aged 12 and 14. We probably got the best apartment available. We had a large terrace with a stunning view over the rooftops to the sea. On the other side, we could see the National Pantheon. The apartment was beautiful. The location was overall excellent, right in the middle of the old town, yet quiet and peaceful. The surroundings of the apartment were well thought out and truly beautiful; the garden was well-maintained with flowers and lemon trees. Likewise, the pool area was fantastic, never crowded. The facilities were excellent overall. The service was also very friendly and efficient, although there wasn't someone at reception 24/7. Responses to inquiries were prompt, and the door code worked flawlessly. Requests (like for additional towels) were also handled quickly.

A major downside and surprise was the cleanliness and general maintenance of the apartment. The terrace was unusually dirty upon arrival, and there were leftover items in the cabinets from previous guests. The furniture was stylish and seemed high-quality, but there were many old stains, for example on the sofa fabric. Overall, it felt like the apartment wasn't sufficiently maintained; the bathroom cabinet doors were hanging loose and wouldn't close properly. The shower head was broken and didn't work well, and there weren't enough towels. These were small issues that could have been easily addressed and significantly affected the overall impression, which might not be acceptable for an apartment at this price point.

The property is like a neighborhood within a neighborhood. I felt very safe, as a solo traveling woman. The facilities were very clean and well maintained. My apartment was spacious. Bathroom was large and modern. The gentleman at reception was extremely nice and accommodating. I liked that entry into the compound and apartment were by electronic keypad.

The only negative in my apartment was the fabric on the chairs and couch in the living room were worn.
