Lived up to the images here; kitschy, playing up to the brothel history, well appointed and very clean. The bed and linens were unbelievably comfortable. Housekeeping team was impeccable. Staff was friendly, warm, and attentive. Location couldn’t be better. VIP access to the club was a huge perk as the line went down the street. Bar had great drinks and the deejays were fire.

The room was very tiny, which at first put me off, but ultimately it was perfectly comfy. The nightclub and Pink Street are LOUD. Like, this is a party zone, big time. I was not into that but I knew what I was getting into. Somehow, magically, the room was soundproofed. We heard zero noise from the club or folks outside. It was an oasis in a storm of madness.

The hotel is about 1 year old only, therefore everything is just like new. It is situated on the famous "Pink street", that means practically party time from early afternoon onwards in the neighbourhood. The hotel itself is on the top of the same ownership bar with the special design as described on their webpage. Hotel part however, can only be accessed via NFC card, so no outsiders can enter at all. You would expect pretty loud nights there, but insulation is almost perfect when closing all windows and turning on the AC. Maybe some slight bass comes through during wilder nights, but not in a disturbing way. Room design is really special, refers to the heritage of the neighbourhood, clearly something out of scope in a good way and entertaining :) Breakfast is delivered to You directly to Your room, You can make Your choice at what time (starting from 8:30 till 1.00 PM), just need to align with reception. It is a nice variety with croissant, ham, cheese, yoghurt, jam and fresh orange juice. It is perfectly OK this way, although the very same every morning :) Hotel staff is always smiley and helpful, they are at Your disposal via Whatsapp in case of questions. Their own bar is also worth a try with great variety of cocktails and drinks, sometimes with live smaller concerts. Definitely a great choice, cleary recommendable, although not for everyone, but that is just a matter of preference.

The room was lovely, clean, bed was really comfy and nice soft towels. Breakfast delivered to room was nice, could have had a slight variation each day but nothing wrong with it. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend it xxx

The one night the music downstairs did wake me up several times, but I knew there was going to be noise from reviews and mention from the place too as the rooms are above a busy bar/nightclub and it is a busy party area. All was good though and didn't spoil my stay at all . X

The decor was very interesting and entertaining. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were lovely. The room had amazingly effective double layered sound proof windows, blinds and black out drapes. The location directly above Pink Street was very convenient to restaurants and attractions. The shower had great water pressure and there even was an exhaust fan.

The location directly above Pink Street was very loud with vibrating music until 3am, but earplugs and the comfortable bed meant we still slept well. The temperature in the room was very hard to regulate and even though the staff attempted to help fix it, it was too warm in the room despite the cool temps outside. Due to the noise outside we could not open the window. The bathroom had very little room to put our things.

The place is a former brothel (prostuition used to be legal in Lisbon) and it tries to keep the atmosphere -- the pictures, the room decor. The description warns -- "adults only", but does not really set the expectations. Some couples will love it, others may be disappointed, or even disgusted . We liked it, found it amuzing. The room was large, the bed quite comfy, the decor very good. The location is as central in Cais do Sodré district as it can be. It is right above the famous "umbrella street" (Pink Street or Rua Nova do Carvalho). The street is packed with people at night -- bars, , food, strip clubs. Once again -- some will love to, others make hate the crowds and noise. I'd rather stay in Alfama. The bar in the hotel is amazing -- the decor, the drinks, the vibe. There is always a line to get in, but with the room key you sip the line and feel a rpiviledged guest. If you like bars, of course. The noise outside is close to that at rock concert and last till 5 am. The windows have two double-pane sashes, so the sound insulation is excellent, you can sleep well despite the noise. This comes at the cost of ventilation -- with the fully closed windows CO2 accumulates over night.

We stayed in Lisbon for 3 days as part of our honeymoon, and choosing this hotel was a spot-on decision. A former brothel that has kept all of its charm, it offers a unique chance to travel back in time and imagine a different side of life. The easiest way to check in is through the bar (Pensão Amor), where the receptionist will meet you and give you access to the elevator. If you follow the hotel name on Google Maps, it might take you to the pink street entrance, which involves climbing quite a few stairs before reaching reception. Some rooms can be a bit noisy due to the bar and parties downstairs - but the hotel provides earplugs just in case. Luckily, our room was quiet and we slept well. The bed was super comfortable, the room was very clean, and the decor was full of character. Breakfast is delivered to your room in a basket - a fun idea, but the food selection was quite limited. Fortunately, there are plenty of nice breakfast spots nearby if you’re not an early riser. In the evening, you can enjoy the lively and atmospheric bar downstairs. This place is best suited for open-minded couples looking for something a bit different and full of personality. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a stay you’ll remember.

An exotic experience with the room itself. The hotel was a historic brothel yet it is renovated to be a very fun full experience as a hotel with seductive tools in the center of a very live area in Lisbon. Very helpful and friendly staff (Nono was really helpful when our mobile was stolen close to the train station -be careful- and even helped us with the luggage. Thank you man.

Highly crowded area by night so you may feel some noise outside late at night bcz of the action in the street. Also the elevator was on the first floor so u may have to carry your luggage on the stairs for one floor or so.

If you are super sensitive towards noise, mind the most fun street that is alive until 6am.

This place is an experience, has great personallity and if you are open to enjoy what is offers can be the best couple vacation. The breakfast was served in bed and could be served until 1PM. The bed very confortable. The bar downstairs it becomes a club at night, with great music and good cocktails. Beeing a guest at the hotel you can come and go as you please including taking the drinks in the room. At the same time, the rooms are so well isolated that the noise is not disturbing your sleep at all. Location is also great for moving around Lisbon.

We globally enjoyed our stay, the room was beautiful and charming, and even if the theme and the story behind it is quite special, it was a very unique experience. The breakfast is good and served at your room's door :) Highly recommended for couples that are looking for something special.

Not our case but : Not recommended for the prudish or closed-minded people This is not clear at all that there is a hotel at this location, as the hotel is located upstairs the night bar Music from the bar downstairs is very loud at night, and only stops around 3AM to 4AM (Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, based on Open Hours we can find on Google). They provide ear plugs though.
