The building itself is historic and character filled. The views over the water are exceptional. The entire place is extremely clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The bed spaces were brilliant; with light, charging socket, and a privacy curtain: and the mattresses were comfortable. The storeage space was plentiful, and very well organised. There were places to chill inside and out. In fact the entire hostel was well organised and staff were available 24/7. Location was fantastic, and security was very good. Breakfast was included. A clean and well organised self catering kitchen was available. There was a spacious garden and a balcony. Bathrooms were clean and there were plentiful facilities. This was one of the most fabulous hostels I have ever stayed in: and I’ve stayed in a few!

The absolute only thing that was unfortunate was that the A/C in the room wasn’t working. On the top floor, in July, the heat was overwhelming. A big floor fan was provided and staff were apologetic but it was difficult to sleep in these circumstances. Literally everything else was just superb!

Air conditioner is broken and its hot in day time or after climb the slope back to hostel. A bit nosy at night as u can still hear hyper scream from ppl in club

I loved the communal spaces. My favorite thing to do was have a coffee on the beautiful terrace in the morning and overlook the view. My second favorite space was the living room; I'd grab my food delivery late at night and work on my laptop there.

The bathrooms could have been a better experience as far as storing our products; having more shelves or just surfaces to place our things would have been so useful. I also didn't like that the beds only came with a thin sheet and wrinkled up pillow. It also would have been nice to have more private storage in the bedrooms or if the lockers were slightly larger. Also, late at night, the streets were so noisy with people singing and shouting obnoxiously but i know that's out of the hostel's control.

Fantastic location and charming building! This hostel was recommended by a friend of mine and she was right about the good value for money.

Water in showers was not very hot, just warm. In Summer is ok but in Winter might be too cold. Bulk beds need some renovation as they are not very steady.

Hostel is very well located, has everything that you need, beds have privacy, each one has 2 assigned lockers so you can leave your stuff, room was spacious, each bed has separate socket and light, there were enough covers, and the view from the window amazing. Breakfast was good, it's basic, but for a hostel to have a breakfast like this, it's an exception. There was hot water whenever I have showered, the hairdryer was not working on my floor, but I went downstairs and used the other one without any problems. The hostel stuff is amazing. From the moment I have entered I felt good and welcomed. I wish to mention the cleaning ladies, I have interacted with two of them and they were helpful and smiling, and they are doing a great job. For the reception stuff - I had a beautiful moment with Maria and Lucas - he took a guitar, was playing some chords, and Maria and I, we were singing the invented song. Thank you, that's what life is all about. Everyone else was equally helpful and kind. I didn't use the common areas a lot, but they are nice, terrace gives you views to the river and it's nice when it's sunny ☀️ They have stored my luggage free of charge the day when I arrived early and the day I was leaving until just now when I'm leaving. Thank you everyone for your kindness, help and keep doing the good work.

The beds have privacy curtains, which is a great touch, and the lockers (2 for each person, padlocks not included) are spacious. The kitchen was clean and modern, and the bathrooms were good. Breakfast is included in the price. The hostel is located very close to a lively neighborhood (but not too close, so noise isn’t an issue) with nightlife options, and it offers a majestic view of the river. It’s not a party hostel, so you can still get a good rest. The travelers were friendly, and the staff was welcoming and helpful. You can leave your luggage before checking in and after checking out without additional cost. Highly recommend.

Fabulous views over the city and the river, beautiful building with pressed ceilings and wood flooring, great location in the Baixa, Chiado area near the metro, the shopping district, bars and cafes, walking distance to Alfama and Castelo. Excellent continental breakfast. The shared facilities are well kept including a shared lounge/working space and a large garden. Staff are super helpful.

I was really happy with everything. I love giving good reviews and this hostel is worth a visit. Lots of young people and though I'm a little older I felt very comfortable here.

Great hostel! The free breakfast had a variety of options including cereals, bread, chocolate cake and orange juice. There's a lounge to play games at, charge your phone, use a computer or watch tv, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Everything was clean and tidy and the staff was very kind and professional. Plus, apart from the city tax (2€/day) there are no additional charges. The locket for the locker is free, there's soap in the bathroom, a socket and light next to your bed and comfortable bedsheets.

The wifi didn't reach my room on the third floor sadly! But I went to the lounge to access it.

The hostel is located in a convenient area - close to public transport stops, cafes, and the coastline. You can easily reach the city center and main attractions on foot or by public transport. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. The place is clean, cozy, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Air conditioner was not working and the huge fan was operating all night long but it didn't help to cool down, the sleeping room was like a Sauna, over 30 degrees and I was suffering from the heat even on the lower bed
