We had a wonderful stay at this small boutique hotel, at the beginning and end of our trip to Portugal. The building itself is full of history and each room is unique, beautifully appointed, exceptionally clean, and stocked with lovely organic toiletries. The location can't be beat, right across from the marvellous Time Out Market and great restaurants (try Corrupio if in the area), within walking distance to most attractions and 3 minutes away from the metro, trains and trams at the Cais do Sodré station. The continental breakfast served every morning was very well stocked - the homemade cakes were particularly delicious. Lovely staff and a very intimate atmosphere. Highly recommended - we can't wait to visit again!

Nothing - we really enjoyed our stay!

My review is not as positive as one might expect.. The room was SO SO SO clean and the staff was GREAT. But honestly, the room really lacked amenities, for example, electrical outlets-- there were four in the main room but not enough for what is needed in 2024/2025. This was a huge problem. The square footage of the room felt VERY small, and I would not go back for this reason. I **** LOVED*** the bedsheets, and we appreciated the holiday greetings at New Year's Eve. BUT --- Who is doing branding there at Dare Lisbon River? The sign about used and unused towels in the bathroom (in English) comes off as snarky

Eh. I mean it was a good enough place, but honestly ? Cais do Sodre is not the most beautiful area Break fast was SPARSE :( A one-egg plain omelette does not make things good

Location was fantastic if you want to be central and walking distance to places. Very close to the river which is a nice bonus. Friendly and helpful staff! Super comfortable bed and considering how central the hotel is it was quiet and we slept well. Greta view on the 3rd floor, you can see the river which is lovely to wake up to. Complimentary drinks at the reception is a nice touch and we were left bottle of fizz in the fridge for NY and some party hats.

The room was gorgeous but little small and not much floor space around the bed if you have a large suitcase on the floor.

The staff was exceptional! They were approachable and would listen to what we wanted to do and really worked to make that possible! We had great conversation with the staff. They took the time to make connections. Having the water, wine, espresso, and fruit was wonderful. We really felt like we were home! The room was very comfortable. The location was central to everything! We walked everywhere and the location of the hotel gave us the opportunity to see so much of Lisbon!

A very tastefully furnished boutique hotel. It had all the amenities to make your trip comfortable and convenient and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection was abundant and varied. It was nice to have access to complimentary wine, expresso, hot chocolate at all hours. HIGHLY recommend to travelers.

The surrounding area was busy with traffic with the very popular Time Out Market across the street, but it was also convenient to easily access all types of extraordinary cuisine.

I was only there for one night and had to leave too early in the morning, but the staff could not have been nicer. This place just opened, and everything was clean and new. My flight that day had been canceled, and I was grateful to find a room in my price range. The neighborhood, right by the river, is lively and interesting, with a huge market/food hall right across the street and lots of restaurants. Recommended. A terrific boutique hotel.

Friendly caring helpful staff - kudos to Jorge and Iris. Modern beautiful room. Super comfy bed. Delicious continental breakfast plus eggs made on demand. Plus fruit, yummy pastries, wine and coffees available whenever.

Location is steps from the Time Out Market which is good for easy access to the Market's many offerings as well as a big Metro station and a Pingo Doce grocery store. But, not so good for light sleepers due to the noise and vibrations from the late night partying in the Market - even with windows closed - till midnight.

Dare Lisbon River looked very nice on the first glance, but it was a bit above our budget. But the last day we got a very good deal and we booked the “loft”. We did not know much about where to stay in Lisbon but it turned out to be the best location. The room, the balcony, the view, the staff, the hospitality and all the decorative details in the building were simply amazing. Please don't hesitate to stay here because the place is new and has fewer reviews. Hope to stat there again.

Nothing at all.

The location is good, not far away from the train station and close to the Tagus river. The hotel is small and friendly, with elevator, which we appreciated. We had a spacious room with very comfortable bed. There was no noise from outside although the hotel is close to the Time Out Market. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we appreciated the complimentary bottle of wine on arrival.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, and lovely room - felt more like a suite than a double. Breakfast was really nice also. Also very quiet considering how close it is to the nightlife. A little noisy on Saturday night but just take some earplugs for that one night!

Very little to complain about. We had a bit of trouble finding the front door (it’s the big green wooden doors next to taco place) but the overall it is excellent.
