We felt at home from the moment we arrived. The lady at the front desk gave us a warm welcome. Even though we arrived quite early (around 10:00 AM) and check-in wasn't until 3:00 PM, the staff made sure our room was ready as soon as possible. We left our luggage at the desk and went for a walk in the area. Just an hour later, we got a call that the room was ready. The room was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was great, with a generous buffet and the option to order extra dishes from the menu. The hotel’s location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk to the Time Out Market and very close to public transport, which made getting around the city really easy. During the power outage on Monday, May 28th, almost every restaurant in the city was closed. It wasn’t a big deal for us as adults, but we were traveling with our 7-year-old daughter. The hotel offered her some little cakes, which was a kind and thoughtful gesture. We left with great memories and will definitely return.

Beautiful hotel in a great location, but the hotel doesn‘t fulfill its full potential unfortunately due to a lack of effort from the staff. It‘s the little things that matter: When the electricity partly didn‘t work in our room (the light in the entrance area could not be switched off; some light switches were not working), the first response from the receptionist was more than unsatisfactory. She said we should have notified the reception in the morning already (although it was 6 pm and we had only arrived 1-2 hours prior); then - when the maintenance team wasn‘t available anymore - she said we should just spend the night without proper electricity. Only when we said we wanted a room change she said she would ask the hotel manager for approval. We then got a new room - but one that was already occupied, so we surprised a man in his underwear. No one even thougut of apologizing. The receptionist rather found the mistake by her colleague quite amusing. Also when you enter the lobby don‘t even expect anyone from the staff to say hello to you. Big exception: The restaurant staff (during breakfast) was very friendly.

Location absolutely perfect. Right in the centre. And also conveniently close to the metro and train station. The breakfast was also outstanding. The staff were very polite. The room itself was my least favourite part. It was perfectly adequate but there was nowhere to sit during the day except the bed. The room is spacious enough to add a chair. The WiFi also cut out a few times during my last evening but only very briefly. What bothered me the most was the room temperature. It was definitely on the warm side and the thermostat didn't seem to be of use.

By far, the street level service of the front desk and wait staff made the experience! Friendly, fun and informative staff. I loved the room size and automatic room darkening shades. Originally I thought I would share the room with my sister, but glad we had separated into two rooms because the bed was set up to be entered from only one side which is a little trickier for seniors. The rooms are so affordable, I'd recommend not trying to squeeze into one room. The elevator never took too long, even though there was only one. I had read somewhere that the streets could be noisy but I did not find this to be the case at all. It was an easy walk to two metro stations, the bus and trolly lines and restaurants, museums and night-life. I was forgetful one day when we rushed out the door and left euro notes out near the coffee supply in the room and it was undisturbed at day's end, which of course gives you a good feeling about a place.

The TV entertainment seemed very limited...ok didn't go to Lisbon for it, but each night the choices were very limited and the signal often failed. The liked the furniture's modern vibe, but being older didn't love how low to the ground the bed was or having to step high up without anything to hold onto to walk over to the window.

The family room is superb! Perfect for our family of 4. The kids loved the bedroom layout and would have loved to stay longer. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast was great! Staff were lovely overall.

Not to do with the property and the facilities but prior to arriving I did receive ALOT of phishing emails through booking.com via the hotel. I believe they were hacked. Not great. I was tempted to cancel based on this but glad I didn’t as the hotel was a great find. One thing to bear in mind is that there is some noise from rooms above.

I loved this hotel, the location, the value and the convenience. The morning/night staff were very friendly and welcoming. I recommend getting the breakfast. There are so many restaurants near by, the pizza place a block away was exceptional. There are plenty of bars near by. The room itself was comfortable, there was enough space for 2 large open suitcases. It can be noisy at night but if you are amongst it, it shouldn’t be an issue (they do supply earplugs). I will definitely be recommending this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Modern lobby / breakfast room and cool styling overall. Rooms were modern and had a smart layout. The bed was comfortable and there were a lot of pillows. I have to note that this was the first hotel I stayed at that also had a hairdryer with diffuser. Curly girls and gals will know! The room had a small balcony and nice city views. There generously were two free bottles of (sparkling) wine in the fridge.

My room was a bit hard to find (301), as the way from the elevator led through the emergency door. It was pretty stormy and cold and the cold air blew from the stairway into my room from underneath the door. However, the weather was exceptionally bad, I guess usually this should be no problem. I believe that the room is rather small. I travelled alone and barely fit my suitcase. The breakfast was ok but not super good. I skipped it twice and checked out the cool cafes nearby.

Breakfast was wonderful. Location was fabulous. Right near transportation center, many restaurants and Time Out Market. But the highlight was the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful with a shout out to Anna, Paola, and Gui. And all the breakfast staff. Will definitely be returning.

The rooms are definitely different. The beds are in a block type form. To be able to lower the window shade, I had to lay across the bed to reach the device that lowers the shade. It would be better if it were placed at the left of the headboard. Also the step down to the bathroom Is sometimes a hazard at night when it is dark. Also it would be nice to have a small chair to sit in. These are not complaints but as a senior citizen would be appreciated.

Reasonable upgrade offered at check-in but no pressure to upgrade. Clean comfortable beds. Great water pressure in the large shower. Fluffy towels. Fantastic smelling liquid soap. Refrigerator in the room. Appreciate the water bottles in the room. Lovely Scandinavian inspired design. Super friendly staff at the front desk and in the breakfast cafe. Delicious breakfast and coffee. Roomy elevator. Location is great as you're right across the street from a funicular and there is reasonable underground parking at the Time Out Market. You can pull your car up front (across the street) to unload.

I'm struggling to find any faults. As we had a rental car, a parking discount might be nice.
