Fabulous hotel, well priced, great location and beautiful swimming pool area with plenty of sunbeds. Staff were so welcoming, breakfast was amazing with a fabulous variety of food to choose from. And to top it all off, we got a room upgrade :)

I had a foot massage in the chair setting at their spa and enjoyed it, however, I did notice that the couple along me finished before me and their masseuses just rolled up the towels they used on their feet to reuse for the next person. This is not at all the hygienic practice you would expect at this level hotel. I did mention it and my masseuse quickly replaced the towels. This definitely needs to be addressed.

What we really enjoyed was arriving and the resort was exactly like the pictures. We had a car arranged form airport to take us and when we arrived it was an extra warm welcome, fresh lemongrass face washer and a cool drink. The pool was sensational, by the pool bar very affordable, food brought to our lounge which was lovely also. All staff very accommodating, asking if we needed any tours or extra coffee at breakfast. Breakfast was lovely and the Pho the best thing to start the day. The facility offered more than we required as we wanted to just rest after a hectic travel schedule before our arrival. We only stayed 2 nights as we had other accomodation arranged in Hue and the resort arranged a private car to take us the 3hrs and we did a nice stop off. This was also very affordable and made us feel well cared for. Thi Chi by the pool at 4pm was lovely way to enjoy that little bit more of scenery and the lovely gardens.

Nothing really. The showers was a little small but the bath tub made up for it. The spa also has a head spa treatment again. That was great.

My stay at Almanity was nothing short of remarkable! From the moment we arrived, the hotel’s pristine beauty and cleanliness left a lasting impression. The impeccable service truly set it apart – the staff’s attentiveness and eagerness to cater to our needs made us feel like valued guests. To our delight, we were upgraded to a more luxurious room, and the opportunity to extend our stay by an additional two nights in the same room was a wonderful gesture that we greatly appreciated. The rooms themselves were a perfect blend of elegance and comfort, ensuring a restful and enjoyable stay. One of the true highlights was the outstanding breakfast selection. With a delightful array of both international and Vietnamese dishes, every morning felt like a culinary adventure. The inviting atmosphere of the spa, combined with the expertly executed treatments, provided a serene escape from the bustle of daily life. While the spa’s massage offerings were somewhat limited, the quality of the massages they did offer was exceptional, leaving us feeling rejuvenated and pampered.

In the midst of this fantastic experience, there were a couple of minor inconveniences that stood out. The Wi-Fi connectivity wasn’t as consistent as we would have liked. Additionally, the in-room hairdryer was quite cumbersome to use. Holding down a button for the entire duration of drying proved to be uncomfortable and left our hands fatigued. Notably, the hotel’s age was evident, and ongoing maintenance work was noticeable throughout our stay. Despite these minor setbacks, they were overshadowed by the overall positive atmosphere and experiences we encountered.

Good location for the old town. Great pool area. Comfortable rooms and very comfortable beds Staff were amazing and really helpful, especially Danh at the poolside who did everything with a smile, Thingh at the main entrance who was always ready with a few suggestions on where to go for the day and the manager Bingh who was very friendly and always found time to speak to all the guests and was helpful in booking excursions and arranged for our room to be decorated as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Can not recommend this hotel enough and I’m sure that if you choose to visit here you will not be disappointed!

No negatives

Buffet breakfast is the best I have ever experienced. A blend of Vietnamese, Western and Chinese, although we only had the Vietnamese food as it is so delicious. A shout out to Lien who gave us exceptional and friendly service without being pushy about giving a review. The pool area is like a tropical oasis as the end of a hot day exploring Hoi An.

At the end of our trip many staff came up to us asking us to give a review of the hotel. I have not issues with that. It was insisting that we mention them in the review by name that become a bit pushy.

The hotel is in a great location for walking into the old town but in lovely grounds and very quiet. Breakfast was excellent, lots of options both Western and local. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a lovely welcome from Diep who gave us some good recommendations. Breakfast staff were also always great. Deluxe twin room was a good size with very comfortable beds and a balcony overlooking the pool. The pool is gorgeous but was very cold in February. Spa was lovely, bamboo massage was great.

Very few vegetarian options on pool and room service menu. Pool would benefit from being heated as pretty unusable for us. We heard the hotel next door has a heated pool so it’s doable! Few maintenance issues that we put on our feedback form but nothing of major note.

Special thanks to Thinh for making us feel welcome from the start (good luck with the baby), to No for the warm check-in and room upgrade, to MyMy for checking in with us frequently during our stay and to hard-working Thanh greeting us with a smile at breakfast every morning. Also thank you to Ngoc and all the other kind staff members that we are not specifically mentioning here. We had a pleasurable 1 week stay at Almanity Hotel. It was the best hotel during our stay in Vietnam and the one coming the closest to a (European) 5 star hotel. Fantastic breakfast, great pool area, good gym and kind, English-speaking staff.

The beach facilities do not match the hotel vibe; the shower in the room looks old; the bicycles are quite outdated; during the last days of our stay we found the amount of photos being taken by other guests in/ around the swimming pool quite disturbing.

Atmosphere was warm and friendly. All staff were very friendly & attentive they went out of their way to look after our needs no matter how large or small. Special mention to staff members MyMy, Binh, Ly & Chau who looked after us so well we didn’t want to leave.

Nothing really, the pool was a bit busy at times but that was understandable as it was school holidays in Australia as well as summer break in Vietnam and some other countries.. still enough room to cool off after a long hot day though.

Beautifully welcomed on arrival by Lien as she explained the area and the facilities of the resort. The resort is spotlessly clean and well maintained. The rooms are a great size and I'd recommend the rooms on the second floor overlooking the pool. The pool is a treat to use every day and the breakfast which was included in our booking was magnificent. All the staff were truly terrific and we thank them all for making our stay so lovely.

Nothing. Stayed longer than originally booked because it is so good!

The pool was lovely, the room was spacious and clean. The staff were awesome especially Dinh who went way above our expectations for helpfulness and friendliness.

Our room felt hot initially and when we explained to staff (Dinh) they did everything they could to make it better. They showed us 2 different rooms to pick from but all had weak aircon. Instead, Dinhh got us a fan which worked well enough. The only downside to the property is weak aircon flow but in the end it was adequate and it wouldn’t stop me staying there again.
