We stayed at this hotel when visiting Sziget festival and it was an excellent choice. Perfect location in Buda center, a 5 minute walk from Batthyany ter, the departure station of H5 train which goes to Sziget. We stayed in a budget room in a different building of the hotel, there were just 3 rooms. Breakfast was good, typical hotel breakfast with a variety of food. Great value for the prize.

Not a problem for us, but access to the budget rooms is in a different building only accessible through steep narrow stairs and the bathroom is quite small as well, so ideal mainly for healty people in good shape.

Really nice and clear room which contains everything that was needed. The staff was very polite and professional. The breakfast is exceptional and service is great. Location next to the Danube makes it a great choice for exploring the city.

We could hear the running around from the upstairs neighbors (not part of the hotel, probably small children) for many hours each day. There were continuous loud bangs on the ceiling, so resting was not that easy. We notified the staff and they promised to try and ask them to behave like an intelligent family would. This issue is of course not the hotel's fault. The previous time we were there we did not experience it.

We were in the budget section as this was only an overnight stay. If we had been there longer we would have booked a more up-market, river view room. That said, the facilities were very adequate with an up-to-date bathroom and the room was quite comfortable. Excellent position - walking to the Chain Bridge, the bank of the Danube is on the doorstep with a fantastic view of the Parliament Building. The included breakfast was more than adequate. Short stroll to bistros, bars and transport.

The room was adequate for overnight - staying longer you would be advised to upgrade to a bigger room with river view.

The hotel staff made a very pleasant impression – everyone was always ready to help with any issue. The breakfast was excellent – a wide variety to choose from, and there’s also the option to order a custom breakfast prepared especially for you. Location 10/10 – the hotel is right in the center, very close to all the main attractions.

The bathroom is small, but it's not a major issue.

Great location. Very pleasant staff. We had budget room in other building near the main. The room very quite with atmospheric half-arhc window. Important pro on summer - room do not requare holding card for electricity. It means that you can turn on conditioner fo whole day and after hotty walking on the city you are immersed in the pleasant coolness of the room. Other pro is the location near station Batthyány tér, the first station on the line H5, which leads us to Sziget island. If you planning to visit Sziget Festival I strongly recommend this plase to live. Only 30 min and you on the concert without any taxies. Of course, this is also a great plase to visit sighteens of Buda side (maybe one of the best). And there is a beautiful breakfast, which deserve special praise.

This is the cheaper part of the Boutique Hotel Victoria but it was perfectly fine for my 3 nights as a solo traveller in Budapest. If I came back with my wife I'd probably pay a bit more for 1 of the nicer rooms. The breakfast area and bar of the main hotel are still used by the budget part and these are all very smart. Breakfast itself was excellent with a very large choice. Eggs, bacon, omelettes etc were cooked to order and very nicely done. The location right on the Danube is excellent and fantastic for exploring all the main attractions on the Buda side of the river as well as a great view of the spectacular parliament building. The nearest metro station is less than 10 minutes walk away along the river and very easy to use.

The only slight disappointment was that you had to walk through a dirty looking courtyard to get to the cheaper rooms from the main hotel, but seriously it took all of about 10 seconds.

A really nice place to stay in Budapest for a decent price. The staff is polite, competent and helpful, the rooms are clean beautifully decorated. The location is great, on the Buda side of the city near the Castle and Matyastemplom and at a walkable distance from the city center. I will definitely go back.

The location was very convenient and had a great view! You can see the parliament from where it was situated and it's so easy to go on walks by the river. The bus stop is only 5 min walk and the metro is around 7-10 min. The Fisherman's Bastion is also very accessible by foot, making all the other attractions easy to get to. The breakfast was great! We were greeted by a lovely lady who had fresh eggs made for us. Hot and cold meals are available. The hotel and the room were very clean and had the necessary toiletries that we needed. The hotel also let us keep our bags in storage while we roamed around the city.

The bed was memory foam/very soft which we loved, but the sheets felt just a little bit rough.

Location was great, less than 10 mins walk to fisherman's basilica and opposite parliament. Tram 19 went from outside to the main strainstation direct. Breakfast was great with freshly made eggs on request. Staff were super helpful always. Wifi was decent. Had aircon.

The hotel was located in a very quiet part of Budapest, it was clean, warm and comfortable. The room was quite small, but there is nothing missing, starting from the tea kettle to sewing kit. The room was clean and the service changed the towels everyday. The staff was very kind and helpful, the lady working in the breakfast room was always smiling and serving in a perfect way to everyone around. We really had some doubts about the hotel locatin because of the chain bridge being under construction but there is a metro and bus station close to the hotel. There are plenty of options to have lunch ar dinner near the hotel, restaurants nearby serve traditional hungarian dishes so its also a plus.We really enjoyed our stay.

The tables for two persons at the breakfast room were very small.
