Great hotel with nice baroque vibes in the rooms and big bathroom ! We didn’t get to enjoy the swimming pool much because it was still February but the area is super nice to chill, tan and read. Good location on the southern part of the island close to El Golfo and the southern beaches (Papagayo). Very nice personnel, decent breakfast.

The main point was - as in strangely many other accommodation offers on the island - that the room didn’t have a real double bed but two simple beds stuck together. I messaged the hotel right after the booking asking about the type of room and being clear that we were travelling as a couple so the simple beds were a disappointment. The hotel said the beds type varied upon availability and that the hotel was full at the time but even so I just don’t understand the logic - 90% of the clientele that week were clearly couples, a few with kids, and maybe one solo traveller. They should just have spare double mattresses and equip the room accordingly to the bookings 🤷‍♀️

I booked the hotel believing breakfast was included, and when I arrived I was simply told that breakfast was from 8:30 to 10:30, not anything about it not being included. So I went the first two days, before receiving a message telling me I had to pay extra and to go and settle up as soon as possible. My mistake, but I felt this maybe could have been handled with a bit more class, although to be honest the breakfast was not the best and the cafes in the village are excellent anyway!

Was amazing service from the staff Bee and Esther in particular went above and beyond! The facilities were great and the staff catered to our every need.Its a very quiet and relaxing place with a large pool and a hot tub. There is a restaurant below that does very high quality food. (We ended up dining there multiple times, which is something we rarely do on vacation) One of the most relaxing holidays my family and I have ever had. Thanks very much for the stay.

The only issue I had was that the suite we stayed in had a toilet we could not flush toilet paper down. Facilities were very clean though.

The room looked very nice. I love the aesthetics. Very spacious room and bathroom. A lot of places to hang out: garden with sofas, swimming pool, jacuzzi on the roof top, a very good restaurant. The whole house was looking very pretty and atmospheric. Me and my fiancé were travelling by car. The location was very suitable for us. There was no problem with finding a parking spot in front of the hotel. Very close to beautiful attractions like Timanfaya, El Golfo, Los Hervideros, and more. Breakfast was tasty and fresh, I especially loved that there were so many fruits to choose from.

The lights in our room could be brighter or bigger. In the main room, there were only two bed lamps and two little dim lights in the bathroom. It was a bit tricky for me as a woman to get ready, and it could be a bigger problem if I had to get ready for a flight in the middle of the night. Breakfast was very good but repetitive. It would be nice to have some warm options too, like some sausages or omelettes. :)

Location very pleasant attractive town, easy to travel all over island. No other restaurant open in town apart fron local basic bar and cafes only open till 6pm. Breakfast good, once we found you could ask for ham\cheese, nobody told us that at first. Coffee ok from a machine if you mixed espresso with americano to get a hot strong brew. Hotel Restaurant excellent , but hours and menu reduced because of staff illness. Room a bit basic to be called a superior double with balcony, no chair inside or desk as other had. Pillows rather solid but softer ones given on request

The big failure was the dreadful towels which were old, worn, grey and actually in holes.First attempt to get better by leaving a note in Spanish for the maid failed. Second attempt by complaining to reception produce more acceptable ones. Reception blamed laundry but its onsite, part of hotel!

La Casona Yaiza is a beautiful, peaceful boutique hotel in the heart of Yaiza. The traditional Canarian architecture, tasteful decor, and serene garden with a pool create a truly relaxing atmosphere. Rooms are spotless and comfortable, with plenty of character. The staff are kind, attentive, and always happy to help. Breakfast is fresh and delicious. A perfect base for exploring Lanzarote or simply unwinding in a quiet, authentic setting. Highly recommended!

While the overall experience was great, a few things could be improved. The Wi-Fi connection was occasionally weak in some areas of the hotel. Also, soundproofing between rooms wasn’t perfect, so light sleepers might notice some noise. Lastly, the breakfast, though fresh and local, had limited variety over longer stays. Still, these were small issues in an otherwise lovely and peaceful stay.

Yaiza is excellent location for exploring the island away from main tourist centres. This hotel is popular with people who are walking and cycling. La Casona has an amazing on site restaurant. Pretty pool area. Good parking and easy walk into village to local bar. Range of style of rooms.

Despite having a restaurant on site there are surprisingly no bar or coffee facilities outside of meal times and no comfortable outside or lounge chairs just to relax and chill. Breakfasts are outside all year round and can be a bit chilly in the winter months, take a fleece! Plenty of fresh fruit in offer but coffee from automatic self service machine was in our opinion dreadful - choose tea! Towels and bed linen changed every 3 days . Everything was perfectly adequate and acceptable but don’t expect a “boutique hotel” service.

Staff were always very friendly and helpful. Room was light and spacious, clean and very comfortable. Good bathroom/shower facilities. The food was delicious. The hotel breakfast had a great selection of fruit, pastries, cereal, juice, meat and cheese. In the evening their restaurant has a varied menu of local cuisine, great wines and a daily option of freshly caught grilled fish. Swimming pool is small but always clean and a nice temperature to swim in. Sun beds and jacuzzi were always quiet during our stay. The hotel is positioned in a quiet spot in the pretty town of Yaiza. It was a great location to travel around the island, and the staff were always helpful with recommendations of things to see and do. We had a rental car and there was always easy parking nearby the hotel.

There was nothing we didn’t like. Staff were always happy to help whenever there was anything we needed.

The hotel is charming and staff very friendly! For breakfast they serve a lot of fruits. They do have Nutella :) The restaurant was also super nice!

We have been in January. There was a jacuzzi, but ut was super cold (approx. 15 degrees). Eventhough we asked and they promised to heat it up - nothing changed unfortunately. We couldn't use the pool since it was outside and not heated. The coffee quality could be improved and also yogurts, juices, and quality of jam - served with plastic packaging. It is locted in a small village, so a car is needed.

Charming hotel! Very friendly receptionist and other staff, great Bodega restaurant! Very good location to see the Island. We really recommend because it s cheap and cosy. Some tips for the hotel: please chance the towels every 2 nights , we had no towel changes in four nights, the shower was not so clean. There was hair and also dusty in the room . Despite the reviews Here the breakfast is really okay. All in all we had a great stay and we recommand if you are on a budget . Note that Yaiza is beautiful but not lively. You need a car ! The lady at the reception is hilarious and soooo nice . We love her !
