The quality of food and options available were consistently excellent particularly given the number of guests being catered for. Staff consistently excellent throughout. Always friendly and helpful - a credit to the hotel. Even though the hotel was busy, it was spacious enough that it never felt over-crowded. The gym was properly equipped and not simply a box-tick like many hotel gyms.

Could do with a bar facility at the far end of the garden for guests a little less able to take stairs or walk to the opposite end of the garden where the two available daytime bars were.

The rooms were very good, spacious with a comfortable bed, excellent shower and immaculately clean. The cleaning lady (Ana) was very good. The pool area was very clean and well maintained. A good size gym with sufficient equipment. There were no sun bed wars as there were always plenty spare around the pools.

Drinks service was often very slow particularly in the restaurant. Whilst there was a reasonable choice of food (dinner was better than lunch) it wasn’t very hot. The piano bar wasn’t big enough for the number of guests to have a drink after dinner and often there was no seats in the reception adjoining area. The area downstairs by the restaurant was a bit soulless. In warmer weather when you could sit outside I’m sure it would be better. The gym would be better with air conditioning.

Booked last minute and hotel was great. We had planned to stay in Puerto del Carmen, but when we tried to park at possible hotels there was no parking. I haven’t been to Lanzarote for over 20 years and if I return would stay in Puerto Calero. Quiet resort with marina and good selection of bars and restaurants. If you want a Benidorm experience go to Puerto del Carmen, otherwise stay a few miles away at Calero and take a taxi, less than €10 Room provided was along distance from reception, probably not ideal for some people. We didn’t go all inclusive, so full bar service not available. Spa was was great, loved the spacious room. Cleaning and maintenance crew were so friendly.

Long walk to reception area, reminded me of a Disney Resort hotel. Directions to Spa were confusing, luckily the maintenance staff helped, the directional arrows need to be “FIXED” and not moved by the wind or people having a joke!

We received a complimentary upgrade to a Superior Suite which was an amazing room. Pools and surrounding areas were beautiful and the grounds well maintained. Gorgeous poinsettias planted all around the grounds for Christmas. The interior Xmas decorations were gorgeous. Drinks were free flowing and plentiful. Wine was great and we appreciated that you could take a bottle of wine to your room, it was lovely to enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony in the afternoon. Enjoyed our complimentary visit to the Spa. The spa pools are lovely and relaxing! Staff were all pleasant and helpful. Our cleaning lady was jolly and friendly and did a great job. Reception staff were lovely also.

The food at dinner was a bit repetitive and boring - however, we always found something to eat. Breakfast was fab and Lunch in the poolside restaurant was also good. We had a Nespresso machine in our room but no coffee pods. We also had a bottle of water in our room but no bottle opener.

Excellent location able to walk to Quemada and Puerto del Carmen. Also used free bus service to PdelC and local buses to Playa Blanca. The evening entertainment was fair. Accommodation and food good. Staff also good and our room cleaner excellent. Good facilities. Used table tennis and lounges.

Had to complain about people reserving beds by putting out towels. Suggest pool attendants collect in said towels then guests would have to collect ( and pay?) for a new set. It does need sorting ….that’s the only downside.

Rooms are very spacious and plenty of pools. Proscecco at breakfast was a nice touch!

There is no exit to the road to Puerto calero which was right beside our room, a roundabout ten minute walk to reception first and then out the front door. There is a lot of walking involved in this hotel to get from a to b.The buffet got very monotonous there’s no themes and there’s an admin charge to change from dinner to lunch. Reception can’t book you a taxi to the airport if you require a people carrier, they recommend ringing that morning before you leave and getting two taxis for a family of five or get the bus a seven minute walk away. They won’t recommend a private transfer we used lastminute transfers we booked ourselves who picked us up. Very hard to get around as a family of five as you can’t book taxis.

Our 2nd of 3 visits this year. Love everything about hotel for a relaxing holiday. Room was spacious and clean. Think for a 4* hotel every room should have tea/coffee facilities but they don’t. 3 large pools plus separate child’s pool. Lots of loungers well spread out around all pool areas. Areas always clean and tidy. Always found something to eat at buffets , plenty of variety though sometimes food could be warmer. Staff were wonderful, hardworking and always a cheery greeting.

We requested late check out and were told they were fully booked so highly unlikely but we had to check day before only. As flight was late night we really needed room so asked reception for help, maybe we could upgrade to an available room or what else did they have, they told us just to go online and book a room there they couldn’t do anything. Only available room was superior double sea view at 175€, we felt like we had no choice so we booked. I enquired if we could check into new room immediately or wait till 3..we were then told we could stay in same room, this was 4 days before checkout..so why when we enquired could they not have told us room was available for late checkout..left feeling very cheated.

Lovely large room with great views. Grounds nice & very well kept. Good variety of pools & plenty of sun beds. Raquel in the Spa gave me a really great foot massage. Will definitely go to her again!

Toilet in room is small & uncomfortable. Barely room to sit comfortably & door opens inwards. Strange because rooms are lovely & beautifully decorated & there is plenty of room for a proper sized toilet! Buffet style meals are fine apart from desserts which are pretty poor. Definitely need a few pastry chefs!

Signposting should be better as we got lost having been given wrong direction. Gluten free offerings in restaurants should be improved.

The Hill up from the marina is demanding

Location for the small port and quieter area which is what we were looking for. Hotel grounds are well kept and room was spacious Some areas a little worn but looked like ongoing maintenance taking place Check in staff great and lots of loungers and pools

Lunch and dinner food wasn’t great on the AI deal tbh, drinks were ok and a lot of options. Spa was a little worn, sauna wood was peeling off and steam room had a lot of missing tiles which is a cut risk
