Nice villa located on a quiet street , just a 10 minute stroll down to the marina where all the shops ,bars , cafes and restaurants are located . We have stayed at Calero many times and although the area is only small it is just so pleasant to stroll around especially on a evening.

Nothing we didn't particularly dislike , like most holiday accommodation just looked a little tired something that could easily be rectified , a welcome pack of some sort would have been nice , once unpacked our first job was to go down to the local supermarket to buy some basic items .

The location was quiet and relaxing. The property has a good view (villa 7) and is well set out. There is a traditional Spanish feel to the property. The bedding was changed half way through a two week holiday and the towels three times.

The pool filter was very noisy through the night. There were cobwebs on the chair legs and the settees were uncomfortable for a prolonged period. The TV only had one useful channel.

Was a lovely clean and comfortable villa,really good location a little hilly but we knew that and didn't find it a problem ,everything there that you needed ,Lourdes the owner lives on the complex so is always on hand if you need anything the complex consists of six villas all with own private swimming pool and all amenities ie towels, bed linen, iron A little supermarket in the marina for essentials,otherwise you have to go into puerta del carmen , a large supermarket being built at end of road so will be even better Would definitely return

No air-conditioning or fans ,and pool could do with being slightly heated(as exceptionally cold) but managed fine

Lacation...Size Of Property

No Heated Pool...I am sure guests would gladly pay extra to heat the pool especially in the winter months s we never used it as it was so cold

The villa is spacious, with a large living space and good-sized bedrooms. The pool area is lovely, and the road outside was very quiet. Parking is easy just outside the villa complex. The local supermarket stays open until 8:00 in the evening and has pretty much all the basics you are likely to need.

We would have appreciated a welcome pack of some sort on arrival - perhaps some coffee, biscuits and milk, especially if arriving, as we did, late in the evening when the local shop had closed. It would also be helpful if washing-up liquid was supplied, and perhaps some liquid hand-wash in the bathrooms. The villa is situated up a hill from the restaurants and marina, and we found it easier to use our hire-car to access the facilities, due to reduced mobility. If you're fit enough, it's only a 15-minute walk back up the hill (10 minutes to get down!).

Private pool, great location

Some things needed to be fixed, that should have been done before new guests arrived. Tv connection, plug sockets in the bedrooms

Great location - ten minutes walk from the marina. Spacious, clean and airy accommodation on two levels (two of us in a two-bedroom villa) with two patios so you could follow the sun throughout the day. Sunset views from the top patio were fantastic. Owner Lourdes was a great communicator and met us at the property. She was friendly and helpful. We had a late afternoon flight home so she kindly allowed us to check out later (12 instead of 10) which meant we had a more relaxing departure day. Very accommodating.

A minor gripe - the property has a small external fixed airer, which is great, but as cyclists we had a lot of laundry to dry and an additional freestanding one would be a bonus so you could move it indoors at night.

Location. Size of villa. Privacy. Own pool. Cleanliness. Staff. Lovely bed/bedding comfortable. Washing machine & hairdryers were a bonus. Great to have bath & hand towels supplied. Cleaner lovely & Lourdes our host was exceptional. Would definitely go back again.

Pool a bit too cold (end of January) still managed a length or two. Shower great. Rusty plug in bath.

The host was very good,she was really helpful & nothing was too much trouble for her & her father, will definitely go back 🙂

Thought there would have been some water & a few snacks as we arrived late & there’s no shops close by ☹️

Lovely comfortable villa, and loved the private pool that comes with each villa. Very welcoming host and they were always available to help and answer any questions. Very lovely people indeed. The villas are self-catering so we got to go out and try different restaurants along the Puerto Calero marina and in Puerto Carmen.

Other than being up a steep hill from the beach (in which everywhere is), Nothing, everything was great.
