At short notice I had to extend my stay by one night in Lanzarote, and this place was one of the only reasonably priced places left on booking.com but I was desperate and booked it. I am now so sad that this is not the place I stayed the rest of the week as it was exceptional. The apartment is spotlessly clean, well equipped and has everything you need. It is a small apartment, but has a large outside terrace looking over the marina. I paid approx EUR90 for one night, which is the same as I paid per night for the other place that I stayed, but this is far superior. The staff are really helpful. It’s also keyless, which is such a good idea as all you need is a code to get in and out and you can’t lose your key or lock it in the apartment!

The furniture is a bit old looking, but it’s fine. A real sofa would be better than the foam thing. Parking is a little bit challenging as the streets are busy in the old town, but I got parked close enough. Air conditioning would be better than needing to leave the windows open for air at night. But these are minor things, and don’t let it put you off. I will be back next time.

I was supposed to get an email with entry codes and instructions but this didn't arrive. We had to ask other guests to let us in to the building then ring the 'emergency' number to get the key safe code to get our apartment key. It is a bit strange that reception closes before check in time regardless of time of arrival. Also the pool times were a bit restrictive especially in the morning (my husband likes to swim before breakfast) - I understand that nearby residents don't want to be woken by a dawn swimmer but 10am seems quite late.

I absolutely loved my stay here. So much. I loved the incredible view from my balcony, I loved my privacy, the apartment was huge and the bathroom was really nice too. It was quiet (which is the main reason why I picked here) and fantastically away from the hum of tourism. Good towels and cute kitchen. Lovely host too - Estefania. Great energy! It's super special that she was born on the island and has spent her life here.

I really cannot complain. Maybe a big water bottle in the fridge on arrival, with olive oil and salt basics in the cupboard could be nice?

The booking in and able to get in a little earlier. All the staff were so friendly and helpful including the cleaning staff. The cleaning was spotless and the staff offered to clean our appartement every day. The location was perfect and was close to the restaurants, shops and old port. Views were good of old port.

The kitchenette was very basic, had very few kitchen tools etc. The appartement was tired, needed updating and sofa uncomfortable.

Absolutely loved the location of the Agua Marina appartments. The swimming pool area was gorgeous. The view from my balcony was lovely..overlooking the boats in the Marina and the sea further in the distance. It was so peaceful and beautiful sitting out on my balcony at night time. I loved the Old Town!!

I was in an appartment on the basement floor so as people were walking past, they could stare in at me when I was out on my balcony! No real privacy! I would choose a room higher up if I was to return here! I would definitely recommend these appartments, they have the true authentic Spanish character. I would love to go back to them in the future.

the view was lovely. Also I like that it was keyless entry, made it all much easier. All the staff were lovely. Its in a quiet location as well. There is a restaurant and a small supermarket opposite which makes it perfect. It also has loads of TV channels , BBC, ITV etc. They also provided fans in the room free of charge, as a lot of places do charge,

We had an apartment on one of the upper levels, so we had great views over the sea. The apartment was spotlessly clean- the cleaning staff were great-and towels and sheets were changed twice during our 7 day stay. We cook often on holiday and there was everything we needed except for a potato peeler, which we bought.The pool and surroundings were well cared for and a great sun-trap. The area was generally quiet with little traffic, being a cul-de-sac and the apartments had a good level of security. There were recycling facilities onsite, which we appreciated. There is a very good restaurant just across the road.

My apartment (401) was over the entrance so it was hard to sleep with the sound of the banging door and people chatting and coming in and out.. The owner is really unfriendly, I asked her if I could move rooms due to the noise and she was pretty unpleasant in her manner. Zero customer service skills.

We have just returned from a short break in Lanzarote, staying in the Agua Marina apartments room 404. The apartment was spotless, and the views of the marina were lovely. It's about 10 minutes' walk to the Old Town where we found plenty of nice restaurants and bars. The man on reception was pleasant when we went to ask anything. We spent a few afternoons just chilling by the pool, which was lovely and very quiet. A fabulous stay

We arrived at 10am and although check in was 2pm we were given our key to our apartment straight away. The apartment was nice, lovely balcony with a table, chairs and sunbeds, had a lovely view from the balcony, our beds were made each day. We also had use of the swimming pool. Pool and area around it was spotless. Near small supermarket also and some Irish pubs. We had a late flight home and were allowed store our luggage there, also they booked a taxi for us to get to the airport.

We were a bit far from the beach, we had thought we were going to be closer. It was tiring walking in the heat to it. I had planned to go to the market on the Friday but was very disappointed to find our it is no longer on. We went to the one in playa blanca but had to get a taxi there as the bus was full when it arrived and driver didn't stop to pick us up.
