Location was perfect, very close to train station and ski area. We had 4 different rooms and they were all great! Very comfortable, clean and beautiful with lovely balconies and views! Breakfast was very good and the staff were so welcoming and kind!

If you have mobility issues, this is not the hotel for you. You do have to either go up a large section of stairs or pull your luggage up a steep hill. It was difficult, but so worth the hike!

My wife and I recently stayed for a week in a standard double room. The room was very nice. Roomy enough and had a nice size balcony to set out on. The included breakfast included hot and cold items including scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and pancakes There was also an nice selection of fresh breads, cold cuts, cereals and local cheeses. We also had dinner at the restaurant on a couple of nights and found the food to be very good and the prices reasonable for the area. The Silberhorn is also in an excellent location in Lauterbrunnen. A five minute walk from the train station and the local coop grocery is even closer.

Overall we liked everything. No complaints

1. a great team! Kind, helpfull, social, correct. Good cleaning of the room and clean towels and also after 1 week clean bed sheets 2. The room was spacious and perfect! Very good bed and mattrass. Good couch and wow even a chaise longue! Great bathroom. 3. The view on the mountains and station we liked. The cable car beside the balcony didn't make any noise. 4. Perfect location! Only few minutes from railwaystation, busstop and cablecar. 5. We liked the different rooms for eating. Very nice breakfast room, glass dining room , terrace (and a beautiful garden), the intimate restaurant inside. 6. A wide choice of breakfast options. We liked the pancakes! Superb bread. Attentive continuous clearing of tables so always a place to be seated. 7. 24h water coffee and tea. We used the icecubes maker very often. Just great. 8. Nice Swiss menu's in the resaurant and a good wine list with Swiss wines.

The room was well presented and I liked the split level (for the first few days). We had a balcony and were able to sit outside and view the hills. The breakfast was good and the coffee machine was a nice bonus. We really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were friendly and happy to help. The hotel is in a great location too. Right at the start of the valley so you don’t have to drive through the crazy crowds to get to the hotel. That really is a huge bonus.

The coffee machine ran out of milk regularly and wasn’t replaced The split level was fun for a few days but after 5 days climbing down the stairs to go the toilet at night I got over it.

Close to the train station, gondola to murren and bus stop. The views from the property are also breathtaking. The restaurant which opens up post 6pm has the best pizza in town. Their breakfast also had a great spread. However, the best part of the property were the staff. They were kind friendly and helpful. My wife fell briefly sick and had to go to the doctor at night. We didn't have a car , one of the team personally drove us. We were so grateful to the property and the team. We will visit again not just for the spectacular property and its location but more so for the wonderful people who work there from the front desk to the kitchen chefs to the room cleaning person. They were all great.

Super friendly hotel, with very relaxed atmosphere. Lovely breakfast selection. Restaurant food including pizza was really tasty, huge portions and great value for money. You have to reserve your seat at the restaurant if you want to eat as it is so popular. If you can’t you can order take away pizza and take it to your room. Nice touch with free tea, coffee and sparkling water at the reception area. The view from our room was incredible. Lovely wood interior and also very clean. Best location for train station,bus, cable car, supermarket and all attractions in town.

I liked the hotel very much. Beautiful hotel from the outside, beautiful room, furniture made of wood. From the window there is a gorgeous view of the mountain and fir trees! The room is warm. Excellent bathroom. Very clean in the room. Very tasty and varied breakfast. Very good location of the hotel - in the center of the town. The restaurant serves delicious food. The friendly waitress advised what to choose for dinner, she guessed my food preferences and was very friendly and polite. I really liked the atmosphere in the restaurant.

Probably the nicest hotel in Lauterbrunnen, and now they have a lift making it easy to access the upper floors with luggage. Modern facility that still felt more like a chalet inn than a hotel. Very good restaurant with reasonable prices (for Lauterbrunnen, anyway). Friendly staff, always helpful. Wi-Fi was good. Very close to the train station and Murren gondola. Our room had a great view up the valley, and we could see several waterfalls, including Staubbach, as well at the heights of Jungfrau itself. A magnificient view!. Our third visit to Lauterbrunnen, and first to Silberhorn. We will definitely return!

The beds were comfortable but the pillows were huge and unwieldy, and who wants a heavy comforter in the summer? They ought to rethink that, or at least offer some options.

Loved the location, the bed, coffee, water, sparkling water and the breakfast This was a great place to stay it is directly across from the train station, which was convenient. Right below the gondola lift, which was one of the best gondolas I went up. They supplied a fan for the room because it did get hot. Not a lot of hotels or maybe even none have air conditioning in that town. The restaurant on site was amazing. The breakfast was unbelievable I thought. It would be nice if they put screens on the windows so when you open them, the bugs didn’t fly in . But I notice many windows have screens there. I would definitely go back. I thought the solo room was good though you for Switzerland and it had a little deck off the back.

We loved the location so close to the station, and the gorgeous views of the mountain from our room. The room itself was large, spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly.

It is incredible to stay in old hotels, but the people above us were very loud late and inconsiderate into the night. In an old hotel there wasnt much noise suppression and we could hear them stomping and moving what sounded like furniture for some nights until midnight.
