Good location in regards to sightseeing and metro station. Liked the interior design. Does have a roof terrace which is great when sun is shining (which was not the case). Room is quite big and does have a small seating area which I liked a lot. TV was working properly and did have a good channel choice. This is important for me. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel was clean and quiet. They offered a map at check-in.

The shower only has a curtain, no liner, so water gets all over the floor. Needed more wash cloths, and the soaps and sink are not kid friendly (they are too high up even for my 7 and 10 year old kids). The delegate restaurant in the building is pricey. The valet was going to be $72/day for our SUV, and the valet lot was our first two nights. Just plan to find somewhere else to park. There is a parking garage on 8th Street (walking distance about 3 blocks from the hotel) that is way more affordable and has more space. Wish we had more help figuring out the metro from the staff at the desk as the location is on the other side of the city from the national mall, capitol building, and museums. Water pressure at the sink was terrible! Barely enough to wet the toothbrush.

The room was spacious enough and very comfortable accommodations. The bed was super comfortable and did wonders for my sore back pains. I had to work remotely during my trip and the internet connection was reliable to perform it. The staff was super friendly and helpful in clarifying all our inquiries, as well as also very discreet. Perfect location very close to Washington DC Metro system for easy access to all the city.

As we stayed in the very first room on the floor closest to the elevator hall, we could hear all the comings and goings of other guests and elevator bips. Maybe adding a set of doors to separate the guestroom corridor from the elevator hall or some sort of soundproofing on these first room doors would greatly increase the comfort.

Really nice hotel and I felt reasonably priced for such a central location. The beds were very comfortable, and everything in the room was clean and in decent condition. The burger I had at the restaurant was very tasty, and the staff was very nice. I got there about 2.5 hours before check-in time but they were able to get me into my room sooner without issue. They also had a little shop with quick snacks that were priced pretty decently for a hotel. The wifi internet was free and easy to access which is always nice.

The metal plate around the shower faucet was coming away from the wall and needed to be repaired. It didn't interfere with the function of the shower but is a cosmetic thing that should be taken care of. No biggie. I also noticed that I was billed for valet/parking services that I didn't ever use (I only used Uber to get around the city). I called them and asked for it to be removed and they said they'd check with the valet and get back to me within 24-48 hours and that it shouldn't be a problem, but that time has passed and I haven't heard anything yet. I'm not really worried about getting the refund, but it was an unfortunate mistake that has to be dealt with.

The location, the little market in the lobby, the front desk staff, security at the front, spacious room, modern looking bathroom, gym, quiet hotel.

The hot water took a while to get to my room and there was no shower door. Not sure who thought this would be a good design but obviously water went everywhere in the bathroom. Because there was no shower door. Literally, no door on the shower. No curtain either. Just a wide open shower. There's glass but it's not big enough to prevent the water from splashing and ending up all over the bathroom floor. Because... there's no shower door. Get it? No shower door/curtain...

This property is centrally located in Washington DC's downtown. It's directly across the street from the convention center and within a few blocks there are restaurants, coffee shops and eateries. The hotel itself has a beautiful restaurant. There is a snack area where there are snacks and a microwave, sort of hidden near check in desks. The metro is only a few blocks (I'd say five or six) away just outside Chinatown.

Hotel parking is expensive and valet only. There are parking lots nearby that are significantly cheaper for a longer stay, but staff will not mention it. The staff at check in are nice, but did not mention you need to use your key card to access the elevator which was odd given how much time i spoke to them. NOTE: I have an aversion to key cards which can get demagnetized if held near electronics. They also failed to mention the snack area steps from the check in desk. The hotel restaurant while nice is expensive. The rooms are clean and quiet, but basic. Finally, there is a much grander Marriott directly across the street!

Location was close to the Metro Rail and was able to get to all the sites pretty easily by either walking or by the Metro. Room was clean and pretty up to date. The cleaning staff did clean the room everyday and replace our towels and bottled water. Room was quiet, no outside noise and overall we were happy with the hotel. We would stay there again.

it was unusual to have to use the room key card to be able to use the elevator to get to our floor, instructions from the staff were not exactly clear how to use it and really the scanner should be labeled in the elevator. Once we figured that part out it was fine, just better instructions when we arrived and label the scanner would be helpful. Hallway was a little confusing to find the room at least on the 5th floor where we were. But again once we figured it out it was fine.

I enjoyed the proximity to the convention center as this made traveling between the room & the convention very easy. As to the rest, it's a very beautiful place! The room was quite nice, temperate, & even allowed for a late check out if asked, which I really appreciated. The staff was exceptional! They are very kind, informative, & even assisted with a few recycling issues.

This bit might be more Booking.com than the hotel itself, as according to the room listing, there was supposed to be a sofa bed in the room & a terrace, and NEITHER OF THESE EXISTED IN THE ROOM. It really felt like a bait & switch on that one, but I couldn't change it once there. That one hurt quite a lot.

Beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean.

I booked a room with two beds. When I arrived, they put me in a room with one. I immediately called the desk & was told that they didn’t have any other rooms available, but could move me in the morning. The next morning, I was told I could move at 11, then it was moved to 12, then that they didn’t have any rooms available again. The next morning, finally, I met Brent, who not only listened for understanding, but moved me that day. I appreciated his willingness to help but I shouldn’t have had to worry about this for two days.

Location was great! Very close to the metro with a direct line to the DCA airport. And easy to get to many sites by walking or metro. The staff were very lovely and the food at the restaurant was tasty. The wifi worked great in my room and the luggage storage was quick and easy prior to check in and after check out. Overall, really good experience. I thought it was really good value for my stay.

There were some stains on the sheets, but the staff were able to switch them out fairly quickly. I’m sure the sheets were clean, although I felt peace of mind knowing they had been changed.
