The room was fantastic! Way above our expectations. The resort facilities were also amazing and would love to take the kids there, however a bit costly for a family of 5. Would love to go back there one day though.

My favourite place 😍 The lagoon pool is amazing, the beds and linen are beautiful, the staff go above and beyond, could not speak more highly of this place.

the property is well located, well built and has alot of good food options and their breakfast is worth it and all the staff are very polite, well trained and respectful. special mention to chapter and verse for the great food and dining and great staff as well. Frankie our server was the most professional server I have seen for a while. She was very respectful and clear with everything. i would love a voucher or something as a thank you for this detailed and honest review . haha.

the cleaning and housekeeping team did not do a great job on june 9 when they cleaned so =that needs to be brought up for room 2404 as they did not replenish cups, tea bags, towels and we had to ask the reception for the same. also for weekday checkouts they did not have enough people on reception to deal with peak check out times and staff rostering could be better.

Absolutely amazing place with exceptional service! We were warmly welcomed with a beautiful ceremony and a special tea — such a thoughtful touch that made our arrival truly memorable. The room was spotless, fresh, and beautifully prepared, with so many little details designed to help you relax and feel at ease. The entire environment was peaceful and comfortable, making it the perfect getaway. The staff were incredibly professional and friendly throughout our stay. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return!

Really enjoyable school holiday break. The hotel was extremely busy, but still managed feel quite comfortable. There were always plenty of deck-chairs available by the lagoon, we rarely had to wait around for busy lifts during the breakfast rush, and even the occasional queue for the breakfast was handled very well. Rooms are impeccable, and the staff are excellent across the board.

These are very minor complaints, as we really did enjoy our stay. I feel the food in the main bar can get a bit boring quite quick if you're staying for a few days. It's decent, but the menu is not extensive, and can feel quite heavy. There was construction on site while we were there, which made the lagoon time a bit less relaxing than we'd hoped. Finally the sports outdoor area is looking pretty tired. Tennis court was out of action, and the other area could do with some love too.

We loved the pool and the staff were very friendly

It’s not something you can do anything about but the children staying at the property not being supervised doing dangerous and very unacceptable behaviour. A child was standing on the empty garden bed between the tennis court and the basketball court throwing river rocks into the neighbouring property. Another child in the pool was catching the little puffer fish bringing them to the surface when staff told him to stop he said I’m allowed too. Also a staff member told the same child not to jump off the rocks into the pool he completely ignored them and jumped off the rocks. Maybe children are not allowed into the pools or other areas under a certain age without parental supervision.

Fridge wasn't cleaned upon check-in, had someone's leftover in it. What annoyed me the most was the reception lady didn't seem to want to listen to me but simply said "apart from the water everything else in the minibar costs" Communications between housekeeping and lobby and restaurants. We had to ask many times for items to be dropped to us. Broken toilet (was fixed on Day 2) Was advised breakfast came complimentary for my kids on check-in yet was almost charged on check-out. I guess that came from the restaurant. Jacuzzi was closed for maintenance, spa wasn't really heated so we didn't take much use of it as it was a bit too cold for us.

We had a truly exceptional experience at JW Marriot Gold Coast Resort and Spa. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was top notch. The staff were warm, attentive and went out of their way to ensure every need was met. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed and immaculately clean offering the perfect blend of comfort and luxury with a breathtaking view from the balcony. Waking up to a panoramic view of high-rise buildings of gold coast along with a view of sea was an unforgettable and mesmerizing experience and added extra layer of relaxation to our stay. The amenities were outstanding with elegant and relaxing ambiance making it an ideal place for both business and leisure stays. Highly recommend JW Marriot Gold Coast Resort and Spa to anyone looking for a luxurious and seamless stay. I look forward to returning!

Hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean & staff are lovely - friendly & professional. Our room was great, loved the coffee pod machine & toiletries smelt amazing. The pool is brilliant - although slightly run down, overall it is great - choice between snorkelling in saltwater with tropical fish, swimming in normal chlorine pool or the waterslide. On-site underground parking is handy & tram stop a short walk away.

If you don’t like buffets the food options are limited. We had tepanyaki at Misono - which was a fun experience & entertaining, but unfortunately the food all tasted the same. We had also booked a la carte at Citrique via their website but at checkin found out they had extended the buffet longer due to holidays. Staff were lovely about the confusion & even had a call from manager offering other options.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at JW Marriott Gold Coast! The hotel is perfectly located — just a short walk to the beach and close to everything you need while still offering a peaceful, resort-style atmosphere.
