The staff were extremely helpful and made sure all my needs were met throughout my stay. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The location is also quite convenient — not too far from the train station, making it easy to travel around. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

While my stay at Hotel Moderno was generally pleasant, one thing to note is that the bathroom is shared among several rooms and guests. This could be less convenient, especially during peak hours when multiple guests need to use it at the same time.

We've got 2 rooms (double + triple and they were located near each other). That was really comfortable, also the bathroom was as well next door to the rooms. The location is cool and you also have an option to leave the luggage on the day of departure. Really cool in case of leaving by train, cause the train station is 3 minute walk away. Tali (the dog) is great, the owners are great as well. Friendly, helpful and kind. The breakfast is a light one, but you still can do some sandwiches (without meat), eat yogurt and drink coffee or tea.

The only thing we didn't like was the smell in one of the rooms. The other one didn't have it, so it's ok.

I loved everything about this great hotel. The balcony was so nice for sitting and watching the city move along in the morning or at night. It is super close to the train station, less than a 5 minute walk. There's plenty of stuff nearby and about a 25 minute walk to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The staff was super friendly and helpful when I needed suggestions on places to eat or explore. I highly recommend this spot if you're looking!

There really wasn't anything I didn't like. If I'm ever in Pisa again this will be the first place I check for an open room.

Great family run hotel with very friendly, welcoming and helpful owners. Excellent location within walking distance from the airport (15min) and the train station (2min), as well as the main Pisa attractions (20min). Our room was spotlessly clean with a private bathroom. Breakfast included coffee, pastries, yoghurts, cereal and juices. Ideal place for short stays. We stayed one night and thanks to the luggage storage we could explore Pisa luggage free for two days, even before/after check in/out. AC worked perfectly well (in 38C). Thank you very much for making our stay in Pisa so nice.

The location is excellent, very close to Pisa Centrale Station. The room was very clean, with towels, soap and shampoo. I was told by the chap on reception that breakfast was part of my booking, and I said I would be leaving at around 6am, and he said their breakfast service started at 6am, which was nice. All the staff were very friendly.

The Wi-Fi was quite slow by modern expectations. Luckily I was able to use my roaming data, which was not much faster, but fast enough for my needs.

The apartment was close to airport and train station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave great recommendations for dinner and sightseeing. Breakfast was generous and they had baggage storage so we were free to sightsee after we checked out.

The Tower of Pisa was 40 minutes walk at the opposite end of town but it was a pleasant walk along the shopping streets and we saw most of main sights along with way.

My wife and I stayed here for 2nights. We arrived at the train station just as it was getting dark. The hotel was easy to find, very close to the train station, turn right out of the station and walk in a straight line to the hotel, 5 mins. The hotel reception was staffed by a couple who welcomed us in and made us feel relaxed. We found our room up 2 flights of stairs, there is not a lift so pack light. The room was basic but as expected. We had a private bathroom, double bed, air conditioning and a tv. The hotel was quiet on the first night but there was more noise on the 2nd night, we couldnt identify where the noise came from but it sounded like someone moving home at 3am for about an hour. Breakfast was served in the small dining room. It was a continental breakfast, toast, juice cereal and cakes. The coffee was fresh and the host would make coffee of your choice, The same couple were there all the time so i believe they were the owners. They were very welcoming at all times and would go out of their way to make sure you were happy. The hotel is close to the tower, a 10 minute walk and we were there, good position for arriving late and walking to the attractions.

The noise on night 2, otherwise i wouldnt complain about anything. We knew what to expect and we received what we expected.

Fantastic location, friendly welcoming staff, 24hr reception service so safety was great too. Great family run hotel. Good value for the price and a small breakfast included. Cleaning service daily. Would highly recommend staying here. We stayed in the en-suite double room.

Lighting in room isn’t great. Rooms are dated and could do with some paint. No English tv channels. These are only minor issues.

A lovely stay at Hotel Moderno. It is located in a perfect spot, nearby to Pisa Centrale. The staff were lovely and presented truly personalised discussions with customers I.E remembering what language each customer spoke and greeting them. Breakfast in the morning was a lovely touch and the coffees were lovely! The bedrooms were big and spacious with AC. Our flight home was later in the day so we were able to use the luggage room to leave our stuff.

The only thing I can comment on is one of the shower heads in one of the bathrooms needs adjusting to it remains in the correct position on the stand.

So very easy to get to the airport come out of hotel turn left walk across the bridge follow where the trees are and follow the red path for ten minutes you then come to the airport car park which at first you think where’s the entrance but don’t worry just keep following it pass the car park and your c the entrance. The airport does not open the 3.45am and can’t go into scanning your tickets till 4am. Very small airport
