Our stay was beyond amazing! We especially loved the beautiful authentic cave rooms and incredibly caring staff members who make you feel instantly at home - special shout out to Han who was exceptional and went out of his way to help us organise a car rental, airport shuttle, look into hot air balloons, etc. We also really enjoyed the delicious breakfast, stunning viewpoint of the hot air balloons from the terrace in the morning, and the close proximity to the sunset spot (two minute walk, you’re pretty much there already with how high the hotel is). This was the perfect stay and I would recommend Arif Cave Hotel to anyone in a heart beat! Thank you Arif for a very magical stay - your warm hospitality helped us create memories for a lifetime.

We stayed at Arif Cave Hotel for a few nights during our spontaneous trip, and I have to say—it exceeded all expectations. Initially, I was hesitant to book, as I usually prefer 5-star hotels where I can relax and unwind. But Arif Cave completely changed my mind. While it’s not a luxury chain, the service here is truly 5-star in heart and hospitality. Han and the rest of the team made us feel so welcome—he was incredibly attentive, always checking in, greeting us warmly, and ensuring everything was perfect. You could genuinely feel how much he cares about his guests. The hotel itself is built into a cave structure that’s around 3,000 years old, making it one of the oldest in the area. The historical charm is unmatched, and the view from our balcony was simply breathtaking—a perfect spot to watch the famous hot air balloons rise at sunrise. We had early mornings during our stay for a photoshoot and balloon ride, both requiring 4am wake-ups. On our fourth day, we finally planned to just relax and watch the balloons from the balcony… but overslept and missed them! 😅 Tip: Set your alarm for around 5am to catch the full balloon experience from the comfort of your room. We left with full hearts and great memories. Arif Cave may not have a luxury rating on paper, but the genuine hospitality, stunning views, and unique atmosphere make it

A wonderful place. We stayed in Cappadocia for 3 days and spent each night in a different cave hotel to compare – and this one was by far the best! The room was clean, cozy, and free of dampness (which can sometimes be an issue in such places). The hotel also has a fantastic shared terrace where you can watch the hot air balloons. But the highlight was the breakfast – I’ve never had such a varied and delicious hotel breakfast before. In addition to the buffet, the hotel serves omelets, traditional Turkish pastries, toast, and sausages, all freshly prepared just for you. The service was phenomenal. The gentleman at the reception (unfortunately I don’t remember his name) gave us excellent recommendations on what to do in Cappadocia – we tried them all, and they were fantastic. There is also a very kind young man working there, something like a concierge – Mustafa – who was always happy to help us with our luggage. Truly the best place to stay if you want to experience Bodrum.

We booked a room with a view, but to be honest the view was not that impressive. The view from the shared terrace is definitely much nicer, so I would actually recommend choosing a room without a view, which is cheaper, and spending more nights at the hotel instead. This is not really a downside, just my recommendation for future guests.

Loved Arif Cave Hotel. The manager and his team are superb and made our stay so enjoyable. Such friendly and generous hosts, looking after everything for us. Nothing was a problem, and the manager helped us with recommendations and booking day trips. The manager also serves up a great breakfast. The location and view are stunning, especially to see the balloons and town below. The cave rooms are quirky and nice, with plenty of room to relax. Unprompted, the manager made us a breakfast to takeaway as we checked out very early, and helped when the taxi was late. And very kindly gave us leaving gifts, which so generous! 100% recommend. Thank you to all the staff!!!

The accommodation is exceptional. From the moment we arrived, with Han being extremely kind and making us feel comfortable while we waited for our room to be ready, to the way they treat you during breakfast—always trying to please you and make your stay the best possible. As for the room, it’s much more than just a place to stay. It’s an experience. The carvings and designs sculpted into the stone are impressive, and waking up to see the hot air balloons flying over Göreme right from your window is truly a unique experience. If I have the opportunity to return to Cappadocia, I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

My wife found the bathroom a bit small, but I believe it was just the room we chose. However, it was nothing that affected our stay.

The view and location were amazing. The best spot to watch both the sunrise and sunset, as well as the balloons. Cosy and comfortable places to relax with views all day. Our room was gorgeous, comfortable, clean and so original. Han was the most incredible manager and went out of his way to ensure we had the best possible experience, including organising our transfers, day trips, balloon ride, washing services and just being a genuinely lovely person. The personal cooked breakfast was a highlight for us as well. Could not recommend staying here more and we cannot wait to return.

It was a lovely experience at the Arif cave Hotel. The staff were just incredible. Upon arrival, Ahmet sat us down and gave us a whole debriefing on what to do and he gave us 2-3 colored printed maps with illustrations to help guide our stay. The hotel was very clean at all times. The cave rooms were very well heated and sealed. The breakfast was a delightful experience with all the happy and lively vibes of the staff and customized breakfast. They were so cheerful and full of life. Even upon arrival, they tried their best to help us with our parking - even its really limited spaces around the hotel, as it’s up a ramp/ cliff top. The view from the rooms was really nice all over Goreme. It was our luck that we didn’t get to see the balloons due to the bad weather conditions. Hence, we would recommend maybe checking the forecast before you plan a trip to cappadocia.

The only issue we had with the property was the acoustics. There was almost no sound insulation within the hotel. We heard all conversations and discussions as if they were happening in our own bedroom! But this shouldn’t be a reason to change your mind about staying in this place. You should also know that it’s a climb up hill to get to the hotel so just bear in mind if you will going out a lot during the day and back to your hotel room.

THE BEST HOTEL IN GOREME CAPPADOCIA!!! Our experience staying in this hotel is impeccable. The owner (Ahmed) and his colleagues (Han, Hanafi, Ohmed, Betty) are simply the best in hospitality. We felt like a home staying at Arif Cave Hotel. The interior of our room is extraordinary - best cave room experience. We booked the room with panoramic view and balcony and it did not disappoint us. Perfect in all angles specially for hot air balloon watching or just simply taking a break 😄 The room is well maintained, the shower has good water pressure and the room has everything we need to feel comfortable. They served good breakfast too and delicious turkish coffee. The hotel's balcony/lounge at top is perfect spot to watch panoramic view of Goreme, Sunrise, Sunset and Hot Air Balloon. Another thing we loved about the hospitality of Ahmed is the he recommended us the tours in Cappadocia. I would suggest GRAB THIS OFFER from Ahmed and you will not regret it 👍👍 You will save more if you get the tours from this hotel instead of getting it online or other agencies. Ab absolutely superb stay at Arif Cave Hotel. The hotel is at an excellent location, being one of the highest cave hotels in Cappadocia and offering a splendid view of the hot air balloons. For the instagram girlies: The sunrise carpet photos at the terrace with the balloons are beautiful, and for the husbands who carry the bags :p : the walk to the viewpoint of the balloons is literally just 2 minutes from the hotel. So its a win win all the way. The views from the balcony are unmatched. Besides all these points, i think what made our stay absolutely unmatched due to which we have recommended this location to all friends and family hoping to visit soon, was the hospitality of Mr Han. More than a host, he went above and beyond to ensure our comfortable stay as if we were family to him. He also helped us book our horse riding and hot air balloon tour, so literally there was nothing to worry about. the street with all main cafes and restaurants is a 7 min walk and the famous carpet shop for photos is a 2 min walk, Attaching some photos here for reference. Arif Cave Hotel is outstanding! We booked the Fairy Chimney room and it was fantastic. The room isn’t huge but it is inside an ancient stack, has an ensuite and its own terrace right outside the front door. The communal areas are Insta worthy with the Turkish carpet lined seating area having one of the best views of the Cappadocia Balloons in town. This hotel sits just below the lookout every one heads to at sunset (and has to pay an entry fee!) and the views don’t get any better 🤩 Han, the manager is amazing, he will book any trip or activity for you at the best price and he knows the local operators well. Breakfast is next level, it’s not the usual buffet ( there is a buffet of olives, cheeses etc) be warned! It is cooked for you and it is a multi course affair!
