The location was excellent, just in front of the beach. The staff was kind and helpful. The beds and pillows were comfy, the room size was very decent. Besides, there was a kettle in the room to do tea and coffee. You get a discount if you'd like to use the services from their partner hotels, for example, we went to the Oceana Spa and it was great. We've also hear we could have used the swimming pool from the other hotels they partner with (they were next to the Oceana Spa).

The water pressure was not great, it could be much better, especially in the tap. The hot water was working perfectly. There was only one lift, so it was a bit tricky going in/out during 'peak hours'.

Location is perfect, right on the seafront with parking, althoughat a charge. Great views from the seaview rooms with modern finishes. Some rooms have modern bathrooms which are lovely.

The room wasn't made up when we checked in. I had to ask for bedding etc for our child. The room that we discussed over the phone and was promised was different to what we were given when we arrived. Price was nearly £100 more when booked in advance than just before we arrived, not great all considering. Very disappointing that carpark is charged extra when booking with booking.com but is included with hotel direct bookings.

It’s my opinion the staff at reception at the breakfast during the staying required low in mood there was no smile on the faces. There was no welcoming gesture. It’s like not great for this amount of Hotel when you’re paying. I think they should be more proactive talkative and say hello but a little smile so you feel you’ve been welcomed . Also, the breakfast was okay but not to the calibre of this Hermitage hotel. It looks like a family is running a breakfast time with a father or two daughters and the son it wasn’t very professional.

Great location by the beach, room had ample sea views and was very clean and newly decorated. The room was quiet and with decent sound proofing from the hallway. The free parking was very handy as all the facilities, the beach, restaurants and shops were within walking distance. This is a charming medium sized hotel that overall we enjoyed staying at.

The mattress in our room was slanted downwards so we kept sliding down the bed. The breakfast was quite basic, with one of the staff somewhat not very friendly, but the others were polite however. Any vegetarian items had to be ordered, they were not included at the breakfast bar. Would recommend larger coffee mugs for the machines because the amount the machine dispenses is larger than it can be contained in the small cups and the drinks overspilled.

I believe the hotel must have recently undergone a refurbishment, as the rooms we stayed in were absolutely stunning—modern, spotless, and everything still had that fresh, new feel. The attention to detail in the design and comfort really stood out. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the food. The hotel’s restaurants offered exceptional dishes—every meal was perfectly prepared, full of flavour, and far superior to many other restaurants we tried in the area. It really exceeded our expectations in every way.

The only downside to our stay was the lack of a lift for the executive rooms. For someone with mobility issues or walking difficulties, having to climb the stairs made access quite challenging and uncomfortable. It would have made a big difference to have a lift or at least some form of accessible alternative for guests who need it.

Hotel waa situated in a perfect location. Room was lovely and a great size with a great view (family sea view room) Staff were polite on arrival and hotel was presented well. Seating area's outside aswell as inside with ashtrays provided for those who smoke. Parking charge isn't too bad at all. Beachfront.

Bathroom did not reflect what the pictures did, was looking forward to using the bath as it looked beautiful in the photo's, however the bathroom was actually quite grubby and old and sad looking. It was such a shame and looked nothing like tbe actual pictures. Completely different.

The Room was bigger than expected and was modern, well decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was large and whilst a little dated it was clean, tidy and the shower worked well. Breakfast was of a good quality and plenty of choice and quantity. Dinner was included in our room price and the 3 courses were a good quality and quantity. The service was good as was the timing of meals. Restaurant was a little quiet. Good parking right outside the hotel for a small daily fee. Location is a short walk to the beachfront and the Gardens. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff.

The lift was out of service for a while during our stay and seemed to be the only lift available but was working when we needed it for luggage.

Obviously an incredible location, made even better by the view we had in our superior sea view family of 3 room. Shampoo, soap and body wash provided smelt lovely, dressing gowns and slippers to use during our stay was a bonus we didn’t know about! Air con worked fast to get the room down to 19 degrees. Finally a hotel with a smart TV, really appreciated that, Disney+, and can cast from phones ect.

Other half went down to get a couple of cokes from the bar but no staff were to be seen, probably just bad timing. Fridge in the room was room temp inside, it was definitely on.

Excellent location for beach, pier, aquarium and wheel. The room was spacious and had everything you would expect in a hotel room. We had the buffet breakfast each morning, which was very nice and the waitresses were very friendly and helpful. The reception team were also very friendly and helpful.

When we arrived there were no parking spaces available, and you weren't able to prebook a parking space. There didn't appear to be enough spaces for all the guests, and some were directed to nearby car parks. We were lucky as someone checked out while we were taking our luggage to the room, so we got a space.

The hotel is being refurbished, and we did have concerns prior to arrival but our room was fantastic. Recently refurbished obviously it smelt new. Nice decor, we were really pleased. The person who checked us in and out was really nice and friendly, and perhaps more importantly, made us feel welcomed and a valued customer. We will certainly be staying again.

Our only concern was we could seem to get the room warm. I'm sure it was us, but the room was cold on arrival and in the morning. It didn't spoil our stay.
