The hotel is more like a combination between a hotel and a hostel. Location is good, close to the city center. You can walk to the main square. The room was clean.

The (paid) luggage storage is located on the first floor. There is an elevator but it only works if you have the key for a room. If you have to use luggage storage, this means you have no room and no key, so you must carry heavy luggage up the stairs. I would have appreciated a "complimentary" trip with the elevator.

For how big this hostel is, it is run quite well. The rooms were cleaned daily, including new bed sheets and towels! This was a great surprise. The beds were comfortable and the dorm rooms have their own bathroom. This was yet another great surprise! The location could be better, but then again it isn't bad, it's just decent. Most things are within a 15 - 30 minute walk. The highlight in my opinion is the kitchen. It is fully stocked and there was a lot of free food.

I have a personal hatred to hostels that act like hotels. In other words, hostels that try to make even more money by charging for literally everything. It's great that they have a pool table and games, a bar, along with breakfast, and a place to wash clothing, but to have to pay for all of it honestly sucks. Thankfully they have a kitchen and if you can't afford to engage in any of the paid offerings by the hostel you can just skip them.

After went to lot of Hostels before this, I was impressed as the installation are Hotel like in this chian of Hostels. Best for now facilities of all. Lobby room its great, you can remote work there, or go to the bar for order drinks. Location its great, close to Tram and Buses. So you can visit the City of Brussels. Keep in mind that the place is more focused on installements, so don't expect to find social activities in there. But, still with the bar and lobby room you can reach people. The Kitchen was great!, has all for cooking a Chicken with Brocoli meal. Supermarkets avialable are Lidl with like 12 minutes walking. Washing and drying machines are alo there. Keep in mind that they take really long time (2 30 hrs washing, 2 hrs drying), so research avialable programs. Also as a note, have tow close cafeterias, for chilling out.

The streets where closed to the bridge that connect directly from the hostel to the tram, so need to walk longer to get there. But maybe its temporal. But there were lots of Scooters/bikes that shared the street, that makes no so well the experience of wallking off. But more thatn the hotel, a thing about Brussels.

Extremely disappointed to read that yous are opening in Tel Aviv. For this reason alone I would not recommend to friends or family and if I’d of known prior to my stay I would not have booked.

This is my second time ever staying in a hostel, I'm 18 - the one I stayed in last month with another brand was awful but this exceeded my expectations a lot, the reception area is a welcoming, safe and calm environment where there is plenty to do, reception staff are friendly, there's a mini arcade, there's a bar, there's a option to hire umbrellas for cheap, hire a scooter as well as vending machines - which from what I've seen in Brussels is decently priced for the area, it's expensive but it's Brussels. And there's also a interactive information screen which gives you all the information for taxis, for local finds and everything, if you're not the best with technology you could also ask the staff who were approachable at the desk I went into my room at 2am in the morning, I couldn't sleep at all, I had some very loud snorers in my room, but it isn't the hotel's fault additionally, I think I wasn't tired. So I just went to the lobby to continue my work for the rest of the night although I will tell you, it is very spacious, it isn't crowded in or squeezed in, I stayed in the 10 Domitatory Room - so spacious that every one of those 10 people could be doing star jumps and not come in contact with each other. The beds were comfy, sturdy and I personally found it alright. The WiFi is very good, it reaches around 50mps and around 20ish for download speed, which is good considering it's free. The hotel is a 2/3 min walk from the bus stop which 2 stops get you near the main attractions like The Grand Place, etc. The area is a bit shady, don't get me wrong and you'll most likely see that in other reviews but I personlly felt very safe here, and I'll definitely be using Meiniger as my main hostel provider Thank you!

The breakfast options were awful, only proper food there was Toast and Beans, and orange juice was the only option for the drink, and it tasted more like diluted water instead of orange - considering I paid £11 for it, I was very disappointed. I wasn't expecting much, but not that low of a standard. Additionally, the waffles were cold inside I had some issues with the luggage locker where I asked your staff member if it was working, he said it was and took me some time to figure out how to get the card prompt up and to press 'ok' potentially that should be added to the information - I also believe that customers who' ve just checked out should have a 5% discount off the luggage lockers, may get you more uses that way too.

We loved our stay in the Meininger. The staff were always helpful and cheerful, everything was clean and well-run. It was great to have use of a kitchen to prepare our own food and drinks. Equally we loved the bar area - so well designed, with a cool, industrial vibe - and hung out there at the end of the day, playing pool and drinking Belgian beer! The location is fantastic, easy walking distance to the centre. Would definitely recommend.

The only niggle was the lack of control over room temperature. You can’t open the windows and a constant temperature of - I think - 22 degrees C is maintained. Most of our group found this too warm overnight in a room of 6.

To be honest, you are visiting Meininger, and you are getting the quality experience that they have everywhere. I really like the location of this specific hostel, The bar had great beer options, the kitchen where you can prepare food by yourself, and "room" with games and tables to hang out were really spacious and clean, but sometimes I feel like overcrowded (not exactly a huge problem). Breakfast is definitely worth it. Breakfast had plenty of options, from soft drinks, coffee, waffles, eggs, to salami, cheese, butter, cornflakes,... I would really say there is something for everyone, no matter what your preferences are, or are you the person that sleeps longer or wakes up very early. Rooms are also very huge, but I feel like one or two more chairs would be nicer (optional, but not necessary).

Not like I didn't like it, but instead of changing towels every day, maybe it would be much better to let people decide if they want them to get changed. Maybe by throwing them on the floor to signal you would like to have it changed or something (like in hotels). Mostly we are all basically just sleeping there, so are we actually making towels so dirty that there is a need to change them daily? It's a thing to take into consideration as a personal opinion, not a critique of any sort.

Very spacious room for two people, and very quiet at night despite the size of the hostel. Good that shower and toilet were separate. Good to have access to communal kitchen. Quite close to city centre and train stations, we walked to city centre and back two times a day. Friendly staff.

The communal kitchen was small and hot, you did not really want to cook anything there, but still good for using the fridge and fetch hot water for tea. The neighbourhood is run-down but changes may be on their way.

The location is nice and the hostel is beautiful! We were 5 people and our room was comfortable! The beds were comfy and the fact that douche, sink and wc are separate is a big plus!!!

If I'd add something that would be the option of renting an extra hairdryer if needed. We were 4 girls and there was one hairdryer available attached to the wall, but it would've saved us a lot of time if we could get an extra one. Also maybe an extra chair would be nice, since there was only one in a room for 6 people. But we didn't mind, since overall it was a pleasant stay!

The rooms and bathroom were very confortable and clean.

The common areas were very noisy. The noise came mainly from activities with the guests, which are fun and I think it's great that they had it, but I wish there was a seperated more chill common area. In one of the nights I had to make a call and I couldnt do it from my room because I didn't want to disturb the people sleeping, so I went to the common area and I barely could listen to the other person through the phone. Other than that, I was a little disapointed that I had to pay to store my luggage before the check in time. It wasn't that expensive, but it was the first hostel I stayed that I had to pay for something like that.
