The location is excellent, and there is parking. Staff were very helpful and friendly. This is a traditional pub, with live music and other entertainment. Check their Facebook page for upcoming events before booking, if you are just looking for a quiet place to stay! (We were attending a particular event being hosted by the Inn, so it was perfect) The building is around 300 years old, so there are traditional fixtures and fittings which are lovely.

Nothing of complaint. The only thing is we like firm pillows. Note: If you stay in the Copperhouse area of Hayle outside of the main tourist season (we stayed in February), then many of the shops are closed or close early. We are locals to Cornwall and totally understand this practice.

This place just had a feel to it as soon as I got in. The regulars were so friendly and as a solo female traveller that sometimes doesn’t happen. They helped me with my bags and doors. The landlady was the same and explained everything well. She came and sat with me whilst I had a drink and we chatted for a bit. I felt very welcome. The room was extremely comfortable and spotless. I didn’t want to get out of bed!!! Free parking at the pub too. This is definitely my kind of place. I’ll be going back with my husband for sure!

The convenience - right on our bike route. The room was just about adequate for our needs. The meal was good and very reasonably priced. The beer was excellent. We left our bikes safely stored at the back and used fire escape door which made for easy access to the bikes.

Room was ok - a bit small. Busy road outside. Dearer overnight accommodation than other places.

I was motorcycle camping and was soaked after riding through a heavy storm. The hotel drying facilities were perfect- and they were kind enough to re-activate the heated towel rail in my bedroom! Bedroom was clean and had a good and spacious en-suite. A pint with supper in the downstairs bar was welcome too.

It was a little noisy in the street outside as I was trying to get to sleep, but not the Inn’s fault and worse things happen.

The welcome was exceptional and convenient parking at property, upon accompanying us to our rooms we were delighted to discover sky sports channels and the facilities were as expected. We had dinner in the pub which was excellent quality and good value. The evening got even better with a live band, everyone was very friendly in particular the staff and we even met the local legend Alan…

Breakfast not available which we knew but would’ve meant a 10 rated booking! Maybe something to consider in the future!?

Very comfortable nice room with bathroom, TV, coffee machine and kettle ,great bar downstairs, had a lovley t bone steak there ,staff were great .Definitely recommended, parking in car park at rear .I had room 2 and could not hear busy bar at night ,as I needed early night it was ideal .nice little Cafe opposite we're I had a lovley chili and rice for lunch .

The surrounding area is quite noisy on a Friday night. You couldn't access the bed from both sides in the room we booked, which makes it difficult when you both regularly need to get up in the night to visit the loo. Took about 40 mins if faffing to get any sound out of the tv - had to access online forms to find how to fix issue which was at the end of multiple buried menus. The room fan was very rickety and noisy (and didn't really help with the heat anyway) so had to sleep with bathroom window open, but it looks straight out onto the street so no privacy for naked sleepers! Sash on window in bedroom was broken so wouldn't stay open, it kept slipping shut with a bang. There were mystery stains on the wall.

Loved the bed! So so comfortable, I'd love to have taken the mattress home! Yes it was noisy, but it's a pub! We enjoyed the live music! Great atmosphere, loved the coffee machine too, nice touch once we youtubed the instructions! Nice shower also.

Limited parking, so we parked up the road. If I was to be picky, the decor and furnishings from the pub up the stairs to the rooms was a little tired and dated. The rooms however were fine and clean.

As a solo female traveller I felt very safe there. The staff and locals were friendly and welcoming. A special mention needs to go to Roxy (Rocksi 😂) who actually mentioned to her parents that I was there alone and to look out for me. Mark and Cheryl took me under their wing and made sure that I had a fabulous last night. Wouldn't hesitate to book there again.

Confortable enough but quite expensive compared to other accommodation I stayed at in Cornwall. The pub had a karaoke night which was just a bit odd! The barmaid seemed to want to hog the microphone!
