It was our first time in Lisbon and the hotel helped make the trip an enjoyable one! We loved everything about our stay with Figueira Spa hotel. We had a free upgrade which we didn't know about until we entered our room. This review is by no means because of the free upgrade. It is an honest review of our stay. The Staff: The staff were ever so helpful, kind and full of recommendations when asked. From the front office team to the restaurant/bar, we enjoyed interactions with them. Thank you to the young gentleman who checked us in, to the young man who was at the front office during our stay and to the lovely young woman who checked us out! The hotel & Room It is tastefully designed and decorated. The room and shared places was clean. I especially liked the design of the sink in the shared bathrooms. It is designed like a fig in keeping with the hotel overall theme. Our upgraded room looked out into the centre of Praca da Figueira. What a lovely view to see first thing at dawn. Simply breath-taking! The hotel room shower is big with great products. They also provided some snacks in the fridge and water. These was free of charge including the slippers and the robe if you wanted to use it. The room was spacious and lots of places to store luggage etc. Thank you for the upgrade! It was very appreciated! Location Location is 10/10 for first timers to Lisbon. Most of the sights are walking distance. It is about 5 mins walk to Elevator Santa Justa and 10 mins walk to Praca Do Comericio. There is also a lovely bakery just 3 steps away that sell one of the best Pastel De Nata. If you wanted to venture out to Belem Tower, the tramp stop is less than 1 min walk. The hotel location is convenient. There are a lot of restaurants near the hotel and a pharmacy less than 1 min walk. Time out market is around 8 mins walk. If you're a first timer in Lisbon, this hotel is definitely for you :)

Beautiful location, close to restaurants and bars and walking distance to beautiful places in Lisbon. The hotel staff was super friendly, the beds were comfortable and we really enjoyed our time there. We booked without breakfast but had some drinks at the restaurant / bar - good service and delicious drinks :) Would definitely choose this hotel again if we come back to Lisbon! Also the design was so beautiful.

Nothing, everything was really perfect

Pretty much everything about the hotel was excellent, especially the location, the breakfast and friendly staff. The quirky rooms were great, with a large, comfy bed, power shower, and a great view over the square. Would definitely want to stay again. Lisbon is an incredible city.

Toilet a bit squashed. Shower door didn't quite close properly. Flatter pillows needed too - prob should have asked but only there 2 nights. I'm being picky as it really was an excellent room overall.

Large enough rom, quiet, no noise from the street 4th floor. Originally renovated and a bit cool impression. Nice bathroom with shower larger than at first glance, cool. Large bed, mattress ok though as always a bit too firm. Service minded staff did an effort even when some misunderstandings occurred. Fruity water in lobby was a very welcome gesture in the heat. Breakfast was good and varied, not top quality maybe but still very ok.

A little noise from the elevator next door, though not very disturbing since quiet guests. A bit dark in some of the public areas like toilets, could use more lamps around for comfort and security.

Excellent location for walking downtown and catching a tuk tuk, Bolt, taxi or the metro. Bed was comfortable and bathroom amenities were nice. Nice that robes were provided. Excellent water pressure. AC was fine. Liked the light you could click on when you didnt want maid service.

Staff at the front desk was a hit or miss. Some were friendly others not so much. The check in desk seemed part of the bar which was unusual. Using the elevator required a code that didnt always work right away. Just using the key card would work better. Room was pretty tired looking especially for what we paid. Pictures on the site made it look better than it was. Beat up cabinet where the fridge was and carpet was starting to come up. It needs a refresh!!!

Great location, city center. All type of connections (metro + buses to the airport, trains to all Portugal, buses or metro for everywhere in Lisbon). Near shops, near pasteis de nata, near the sea. Beautiful design hotel. So beautiful, you almost regret not spending more time in it. Spacious room, big and comfortable bathroom with soft towels, safe and mini bar with free water and refreshements. I loved the sofa at the window. Adorable staff, very polite, very helpful with luggage and everything.

Cannot think of anything missing, maybe handkerchiefs in the bathroom :-)

The location is perfect, in the heart of the city. The hotel is very nicely decorated, everything in a fig tree design. Breakfast is good, a nice choice of things to eat and the possibility to have an omelette or fried eggs made to your liking. The room we had was spacious, the bathroom was big and the bed was very good. The staff were very friendly.

Our room was on the 5th floor and seemed to have double glass windows, but the street noise could clearly be heard. The electrically operated blinds and curtains didn’t work perfectly anymore. The spa is only open from 14:00 to 20:00, so we could not use it as we were out exploring Lisbon.

The staff were so kind and helpful, they couldn't do enough for us. It was a special birthday weekend and it was lovely to have cake delivered to the room! I also had a massage and facial in the spa, one of the best I've ever had. Loved the Occitaine toiletries in the room. Brilliant location, right next to the square which is a bit of a transport hub, so it was really easy to get around.

If I had one criticism it's that the stylish lighting actually made it difficult to find a spot in the room where I could see to put my makeup on, and in the loos in the public area downstairs you genuinely can't see where you're going and I wandered into the gents, very embarrassing. Easily fixed though!

This hotel is in a perfect location in Lisbon. Overlooking a beautiful square and close to restaurants and shopping in a vibrant part of the city. The staff were very helpful and the room was lovely. I would absolutely recommend it.

The only thing we found difficult was the configuration of the bed in our room being on a risen platform as we had a room that was on the corner of the hotel and I'm guessing space is an issue so there was no other way they could do it ,but this was all forgotten anyway when we saw the view from the room.

The location is wonderful. You can do pretty much all the city center by foot and are well connected to the airport via the metro. The breakfast was classic continental, with some tasty mini pasteis de Nata to start your day right! The bed was divine! I slept like a rock! The size of the room was also a big plus, with small window seats and lots of space! The electric curtains are also a big plus!

In our room there was only one outlet near the bed. Minor inconvenience but we had to plug in our other phone at the other side of the room As a non-coffee drinker, I was a bit sad that there was no kettle / teabags in the room, just a coffee machine and pods. I took some teabags from breakfast for my evening tea but I had to use coffee-tasting water from the machine, or go down to ask the bar for hot water. Minor inconveniences overall, but something to think for future guests!
