The first thing I look for in a hotel room is cleanness. Our room at Villa Flöckner was spotless clean; bath, toilet etc. Towels are new and soft, bath is modern and comfortable. Self check-in was good, we arrived in hotel at night and easily checked-in. Villa Flöckner is in a walking distance to the center, very close to the central station and beside these there is a bus stop just across the hotel which made the transport to the city center very easy and quick for us. Breakfast was also good and satisfying. Herr Flöckner was very kind and everyday he asked us if everything was OK. I would definitely recommend Villa Flöckner to those who want to go to Salzburg and look for a nice place to stay.

Actually this is not a complaint or dislike, but we wanted to mention; the bathroom faucet is placed too high above the sink and even if you don't turn the water on too much and you are very careful, you cannot prevent the water from splashing around.

Friendly and helpful front desk, safe parking onsite, clean, updated room, comfortable beds, nice tall showers, elevators to upper floors. Not a huge room but nicely laid out and completely adequate. Coffe and tea in the room. The best part was the breakfast. It was so nice with standard items but also breakfast casseroles, fruit, pastries. The gentleman who works there kept the dining area and buffet spotless. Such a nice way to start the day :)

- We stayed in the Superior Family room for 1 night in mid May. We were concerned that booking.com only listed 1 king bed for this room but there are 2 king beds (I had to look at the floor plan to confirm that). This is a nice new facility although it is a bit cramped. The beds are very comfortable. The bed that is near the bathroom only has 1 nightstand. - As other reviewers have noted, the elevator stops on a landing and then you need to take stairs either up or down to get to the rooms. Surprisingly, you also need to take stairs to get to their reception. This wasn't a problem for us. The property does have a small parking lot behind it, I regret not knowing about that because we were dropping off a rental car and would have parked there to drop off our luggage before returning the car. - Villa Flockner gave us free mobility passes to use for all the public transportation in Salzburg. Bus 1, 2, and 23 have stops right across the street and will take you to Mirabelle Palace and Gardens and across the river to Old Salzburg. We also took them 1 stop to reach Hauptbahnhof instead of walking with our bags to the train station. - I was very impressed with the buffet breakfast. They served several egg options, meats, cheeses, croissants, breads, orange juice, tea, and coffee. Delicious!

The curtain by my daughter's bed (bed by the bathroom) does not go to the floor so she was woken up by the light in the early morning.

hotel is situated in a villa neighbourhood, and is newly renovated and refurbished villa- every detail is so elegantly made, schick and pristine in a beautiful color palate. the rooms are spacious and the bathroom is modern and comfortable. you can have a free ride bus to the city center or make a 20 minutes walk on the river to the old town of salzburg. we had an amazing breakfast with the freshest choice of healthy food and some traditional home made austrian specialities.

Great spot for transport, the stop is right opposite and with Salzburg mobility pass given free when you arrive, you can travel around anywhere for nothing, including to the airport. This is a very airy and light building with 2 rooms either side on each floor behind a door, so noise and privacy very good. We had a wonderful roof terrace which looked over Salzburg. The room was extremely clean and with modern fixtures. The owner was very friendly, accommodating and did us a huge favour on the last day as our flight was late in the evening. Breakfast efficient, well stocked and liked the coffee machine.

The Villa Flöckner is perfectly located to get from the airport. Line 2 stops directly outside. We discovered also it is one stop from the main railway station too. We were greeted beautifully by ‘mein host’. His tips on the Salzburg card proved to be perfect. The room was on the top floor with a lovely view of the mountains in the distance as well as being spacious and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and the shower perfect, warm, easy to operate and powerful. The breakfast was included and it was very good in choice and quality. There were warm pancakes and wraps, quality cold cuts and cheese as well as fruit salad and muesli for those who prefer it. We stayed for four nights and access to the tram proved excellent. We went to the Unterberg, into the Altstadt, Hohen Fortress, out to the zoo. All within the price of the Salzburg card.

Not much, because when we asked for tea in the room, the staffs solved the problem. i was injured and everyone was helpful.

It was very clean. The manager and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Large room gorgeous view of the mountains. Bus stop opposite the B and B and the railways station was a 10 minute walk away.

We stayed in the room at the top with a bath and shower above. Would have benefitted from a shower curtain as when you showered it went onto the floor. Also a grab rail for getting out of the bath.

The breakfast was delicious! The room was very compact, but clean and comfortable. We also really appreciated the personal attention from the owner/manager. He gave us several helpful tips for our stay in Salzburg. He was very responsive after hours as well, when we had questions about the heating and cooling system.

Arriving as we did in the fall, in the midst of an unusual warm spell, we found our room quite warm as the seasonal switch over to heating had already been made. The owner was very apologetic and took the time to explain the challenge and was investigating possible solutions. So although nothing could be done about it that night, we did feel that our concerns were heard. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Great views of the Alps from the balcony. Large room. Generally quiet. Close to train station. Good breakfast.

There is no manned reception except for following times - 800 to 1100 and 1400 to 1800 hours. So if you arrive outside these hours (like us) then you may not be able to get in. I think this should be clarified on the booking page. Also no shower curtain over bath tub so water does spill out when taking shower. Not disabled friendly. Even though there is a lift you still have to climb some steps.

Everything was very good - room was nice, spacios and very clean. Staff was very helpful. Location 10min by foot to train station. Various restaurants and food grocery near villa and we liked that the bus stop with direct connections to the city center was right across the street from the hotel. Breakfast was very tasty and fresh - especially the pancakes in various versions (jam/ham/spinache), which was appreciated especially by kids.

The doors in the room - the sliding door to the bathroom as well as the door separating the bedroom need a little maintenance. However, staff told us that they are already working on it and repair is already scheduled.
