Excellent stay made really special by the friendly staff who were always willing to accommodate our special needs - including a room upgrade. Breakfast was fantastic with some of the best coffee - Kristijna and Doretta in particular made it special. Highly recommend an evening in the Piano bar with live music by a very talented pianist. Excellent cocktails by Rafa! Cleaning staff were excellent and even gave us a small thank you gift - incredible touch. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this hotel - lovely facilities, situated conveniently for walking Florence and still close to station/transport for day trips. But it is the friendly staff who take pride in their work and their hotel that made this a truly memorable stay. Grazie Mille

The hotel is well located near to bus and train stations from where ya can reach the Dome within 10 min or even by a little walk. Nearby restaurants and bars. The breakfastbuffet is well equipped and the staff very friendly and attentive. The room was very spacious and the hotel replied quickly to any open questions within the booking.com contact Formular and helped with special needs. The pianoplayer in the evening gave some grand hotel vibes.

Some lugagge cart would have been helpful which could be used by self service.

Very close to train station and river bank. Room was very clean and properly serviced. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was fine. The Hotel is managed perfectly and gives you a good feeling.

The water isolation of bath tube was not good. The first night we turned of the A/C as it was cold, the A/C was heating only up to 20c degrees (later we were told that in October this is due to regulatory reasons) and a cold air flow was not helping. After a short sleep we realised that A/C automatically restarted. Despite several attempts at midnight I gave up trying to shut down A/C. In the morning we understood that A/C was programmed to restart automatically and if you ask otherwise the reception can arrange it. Our 1st night was terrible. We woke up several times. Probably this is a concern only in October.

The room is really nice with correct amount of things and is also well designed. Bathroom was also nice and clean. The breakfast was good with enough quantity and diversity. The location is good and bad at the same time, near to things to see but in an area where there are people that can make you feel uncomfortable.

Paying extra for the private parking of the hotel, in principle does not look too correct to me, but i didn't see it only in Firenze also in other touristic cities in the area, same thing happens. I suggest people to go to historical center using the route alongside the river, if you go through the railway station part, you will not like the ambience.

Hotel is within easy walking distance from the main train station and the town center. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed but the bathroom, although a good size had a very small shower in it. It could do with being updated. The breakfast buffet had a good selection.

The small shower cubicle in the bathroom. The lighting in the bar area and lounge area was a bit too bright and clinical, softer, warmer lighting would make them more pleasant places to sit. We did have to wait quite a time to have our order for coffee to be taken and delivered at breakfast.

The room was a bit small but had lots of closet space, so we made it work. The breakfast buffet was delicious and of course, the cappuccino is what I will miss the most! Staff was super friendly and helpful. They helped book a wine tour in Tuscany and were always willing to call us a taxi and give us directions.

The beds were a bit firm for me and in the US, I use wash cloths, which apparently isn’t a thing in Italy, but again we made it work. I wish there would have been at least a few TV channels in English, for those wind down evenings.

Really lovely hotel. The room was a good size with a huge bed (with a choice of different pillows) huge TV, great big wardrobe and lovely bathroom. The location of the hotel is brilliant: about 7-8 minute walk from the Santa Maria Novella Train station- lots of people up and down the road with suitcases; it was a 2 minute walk from the Arno River with beautiful views; and a 10 minute walk into the centre of the town. You can go through the streets or stroll along the river 10 minutes until you hit the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery. There’s so many cafes and restaurants all around. I dined in the hotel restaurant one night and Niccolò the waiter was absolutely lovely and the food was delicious. There’s a lovely little courtyard garden too. I didn’t have time to have a massage but there was a leaflet in the hotel room and they also deliver breakfast to your room if you prefer. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

Bigger than expected triple room, very comfortable, lovely bathroom. Spacious lounge in lobby with good air conditioning and water, which was welcome in the 37 degree heatwave in June. Very nice stay

The power kept cutting out through the night and the air conditioning, with emergency lights coming on repeatedly which made for a disturbed night. But it was the district and not the hotel, so not their fault. The next night was fine.

Room was comfortable and cleaned to the expected standard. Construction work was being carried out in an adjacent property which prevented us opening the window. Staff were knowledgeable, helpful & friendly. Breakfast was good. The dinner food was good but choice was limited thus reducing our number of bookings.

Whilst we booked a room with a view this was only available if you stood or sat by it. Rooms with a balcony were on the first floor and therefore did not have a view that we would require.

The location is very convenient, close to the center and not far from the train station (8 minutes on foot). The breakfasts are simply wonderful, the rooms are clean, and everything looks very well-maintained. I'm very satisfied.

After cleaning the room, they didn't replace the shower gels, so I had to go down and ask at the reception desk. But after that, they brought even more than I expected, so overall, everything was wonderful.
