The location was excellent, and the host was incredibly gracious. Breakfast was superb—truly a highlight of our stay. We initially had a bit of a misunderstanding regarding a cancellation request due to a health issue that wasn’t outwardly visible. The host remarked that I appeared in better shape than he was upon arrival, which may have caused some confusion. However, once we moved past that, everything else went smoothly and was handled with care.
The only area that could be improved is the bathroom, which was quite compact. However, this is likely due to the overall design and layout of the rooms, so it's understandable.

It felt like we were visiting family. The house is SO clean and the yard is beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio in the comfortable chairs. Despite several other guests being there at the same time, it was so quiet. The house is also very secure/safe. Loved the ease with checking in, parking, etc. Derek is super organized and has a very smooth & efficient system worked out. The coffee/tea station in the bedroom with a couple chocolates was a nice touch. Breakfast was delicious! Derek is a very pleasant person. We had the opportunity to visit for a few minutes and found him to be very friendly and engaging. I would definitely recommend this B&B.
Everything was GREAT!

Derek and his family made us feel very welcome in this beautifully appointed spotless property. The views over the Bay of Galway were amazing. Derek had thought of everything to make our stay memorable with so many thoughtful touches, we loved the fresh flowers in the rooms and well stocked beverages. The breakfast was fabulous and with so much choice. We loved the property’s gardens and it was lovely to chat to a fellow gardener. Also appreciated his local friendly knowledge and recommendations for dining out. Thanks you so much, we really enjoyed staying at Seacrest!
Nothing at all.

The location was very nice, a quiet stay outside of the business of Galway. The property was very nicely kept and decorated, and the grounds were lovely with beautiful views. The host family were very friendly, personable people. The breakfast was very good in their lovely dining room.
Note: The rooms are nicely done, but quite small, and the bathrooms are very small, so if you like to spread out in a place, you may not be satisfied. We were fine in our room, but note there's not much extra space, and I can't speak to the other rooms.

It's truly a home away from home. There is a lot of love in this property and there is so many small touches that give a guest the best experience. We just loved Derek and his family and the stories they shared. They offer more to your night away and as it was my first b&b stay , I realise that hotels pale in comparison to the character of what a b&b offer. Seacrest offered authenticity, warmth and a passion for their service.
That we only got to stay one night.

Seacrest is tucked away in a community just outside Galway. The owner, Derek, is jovial, friendly, and helpful. He offered several suggestions for places and was always ready for a quick chat. The breakfast was excellent and portions were big. All in all, an excellent B&B that is 10/10 for location, food, and comfort. I highly recommend this place to anyone travelling to Galway.

Now that our 9 nights and 5 hotel trip is coming to an end, I am happy to say that our best stay was here. Next time we visit Ireland, we will make sure to stay more than one night in Galway and plan to stay here again.
The only issue we had was since we were only there for one night we weren't able to get laundry done through you but you pointed us to a place to get it done which we found supper convenient and were able to still have plenty of time to see a bit of the city.

Derek was an amazing host who welcomed us into his lovely home. He was very accomadating and recommended a variety of places to eat and local activities to do. Breakfast was very tasty and set you up for the rest of your day. Coffee ☕️ was the best we've had on our trip! The room was very cozy, and there was everything you'd need for your stay. The B&B was extremely clean , and Derek takes great pride in making sure everyone feels welcome. You have a wonderful property, and we would fully recommend it to future travelers.
Everything was wonderful!!

Beautiful yard and comfortable outdoor patio space to hang out in. Delicious breakfast (with a menu of options available); kindly provided breakfast 10 minutes earlier than normal breakfast hours due to our ferry schedule. Very neat and clean home, in a nice neighborhood. Very friendly and informative host.
Bathroom was a bit small, but sufficient.

Derek is the most amazing host - friendly, gregarious, helpful - everything other reviewers have written about him is completely true. The property has a lovely outlook and the garden is delightful. Breakfast is substantial and freshly cooked to order. I actually stayed on two separate occasions, once in a King Room with garden view and once in a twin room with sea view. Both rooms were very comfortable and the bathrooms are amazing examples of how much can be fitted into a very small space! There are good dining options in nearby Oranmore if Galway seems too far.
