Looks Like a motel but with 5* amenities no comparison it's gorgeous. shower was amazing hot and powerful bed was so comfortable , lovely nights sleep. We ate in the bar had choice of that or to eat in restaurant, food was lovely and hot and my partner has problem eating they accommodated his needs nothing as too much trouble. All the staff were lovely would recommend anyone to stay we stayed on our way back from bribie island, as a rest before our final destination Newcastle rydges for Christmas.

Previous guest must have been smoking in the room 121, that was the only downside to our stay the smell of stale cigarette smoke still lingering but I would recommend anyone to stay there.

Spa bath, friendly staff

Outside 122 was pitch black and no light working. Struggled to find slot for card in dark each time to illuminate room. Did not feel safe trying to enter room in dark. Also each night my room was quite strong with the smell of smoke (from where I don’t know, door did not seal well and perhaps entering directly across from Azra?) Furthermore came to breakfast 8am and the hot buffet breakfast only had really cold scrapings left. Not at all up to par compared with other breakfast buffets of similar hotel rating.

The staff were exceptional - went above and beyond with their service and friendliness. The room was well appointed and spacious My request prior to arriving was completed and I couldn't ask for lovelier service from each staff member I encountered, but especially the lovely ladies in the restaurant and at reception. The only negative was the mattress was really uncomfortable and I think needs replacing. But otherwise - an excellent stay and will come back again.

The location was handy being walking distance into town and easy to get onto the main roads to head in different directions for our bushwalks. We had an executive suite which included a spa bath. The room was quite comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The included breakfast was pretty good with a selection of cereals, breads, pastries, muffins, fruit, yoghurt, juice, coffee, tea. The staff were all helpful and friendly.

The WiFi didn't work most of our time there. The in room tea selection was sparse and my boys were disappointed that there was no hot chocolate as we've had in most other places we've stayed. The pull out couch had evidence of other people's stays on the floor underneath it - a hair brush, rubbish.

from start to finish my partner and i had a great experience.. Hotel is easy to find, and walking distance to just about everything we wanted to do.. All staff we came across were friendly and helpful. We were very happy. Bed was a little soft for our liking as we like a firm bed, but everything was amazing.

I didnt like that we had to leave after only two nights. I would have been very happy to stay longer, however we both needed to come home to go back to work :(

The 2 bedroom family room was a good size and we were on the ground floor and it was very easy to access. All staff were excellent and the onsite restaurant and breakfast was great. We had a great online deal which made the stay very good value.

The room was dated and dark. One set of sheets and a towel was marked and looked unclean - I'm sure it was more of a stain, but poo brown is not a good look on clean sheets and white towels. The staff changed the items very quickly. Hovever the brown marks were in very obvious places and should have been noticed by cleaning staff.

Bed was comfy & the king suite roomy. The restaurant meal was very nice (although our booking had disappeared? The staff were very accomodating though as it was not a busy night. Overall a very nice experience at this hotel.

Perhaps some extra crockery, such as dinner plates? We enjoyed a pre dinner cheeseboard in our room with wine & although there was a dining room table to sit at, no crockery or cutlery. Thankfully we had packed our picnic hamper for our travels.

Fabulous room extremely comfortable

The attached hotel restaurant said they could cater to celiac then messed up my meal and gave me a meal with my allergen in it. They made a new meal but the bread was different leading me to believe they gave me the wrong bread in the first place as well and then they gave me some very strange "chips" (half cold cut potatoes) on the new meal. I was very sick that night. Celiac is a serious autoimmune disease and they treated it more like an intolerance despite me clearing asking them if they catered to celiac not just glutwn free and them assuring me they did. They also charged us full price for the meal after all that and it was not a particularly decent meal. The only bad thing about the hotel.

Excellent room with great furnishings, excellent mini bar with very good treats, very large bathroom with huge shower with rain fittings and excellent water pressure with instant hot water in shower and sink, no waiting for hot water while shaving. The restaurant and underground bar area were also very chique and comfortable to eat and relax with a drink.

There is plenty of parking, right to door, but no allocated parking, which leaves your spot open to being taken, especially at night when going out.

Very convenient location to restaurants and the main part of town, and the room was very spacious so I could do work at night. No problems with the bed or room facilities like the shower. Staff were very friendly and able to accommodate any request I had.

There was an air conditioning unit outside of my bedroom window that made a high pitched whine all night that was very annoying. I bought a speaker that could play white noise to drown it on so it wasn't a huge issue. The treadmill in the gym kept restarting for some reason, but there were other machines to use.
