air conditioner was not very efficient - drapes covered the unit so drapes had to be lifted above unit to ensure air flow -even so, efficiency of cooling was not great - room was quite warm upon arrival- would suggest ensuring cooling prior to guest arrival

This was one of the best places I have ever stayed in. The room was in excellent condition with everything being in "like new" condition. Staying in an old center of a city like Pisa always comes with the danger that street noise would be too much, but the apartment has new windows that provide excellent sound isolation, which was a pleasant surprise. The host was very friendly, with helpful tips and the breakfast was very good with lots of choices, both sweet and salty. After checking out we were allowed to keep our luggage in the B&B, so we could enjoy our last day in Pisa without having to carry them around.

The air conditioning unit and control were excellent, however the modern control unit's display gave off a bit too much light at night (this was easily solved by covering it with a piece of paper).

I don’t think you could find a better place in Pisa to stay in terms of staff, location, cleanliness, comfort, location & price. Sara is the most fabulous host, very friendly, helpful and has loads of energy. We arrived at midday prior to our room being ready, Sara was very quick to fetch us coffee & cakes. Sara recommended a great “locals” restaurant, she didn’t hesitate in making the reservation for us. The restaurant was spot on, exactly what we wanted, proper authentic Italian food (not touristy) it was inexpensive too which was a bonus!! We stayed in the large double room at La Perla Del Borgo, it was beautifully decorated in ornate Italian style. The breakfast was great too, lots of choice. Would highly recommend this property.

Having to leave sunny Italy to go back to the rain in the UK!!!

The accommodation is centrally located, 15 minutes walk from Pisa Centrale and 10 minutes from the tower. The room was clean and more beautiful than in the pictures. The wifi was speed. There are bars and restaurants in the area, but the accommodation is still quiet. There were no outside noises in the room with closed windows. The breakfast was rich, had a large selection of sweet and salty foods, yogurt, fruits, coffee, tea, juice etc. The staff was very kind and helpful. A big hug to Miri. I got cold from the air conditioning at public transports. I was given medicine, they brought a throat spray and they didn't let me pay. I can recommend the accommodation to everyone.

The room was everything you’d wish for. It was beautifully furnished and the bathroom has all little amenities that you need. I would come back just for the water pressure in the shower! Apparently the B&B opened not so long ago, so despite being located in historical building interior is new and really clean. Lovely breakfast. Also staff is so friendly and kind! They let you leave your luggage if you arrive early. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much!

The B&B is located on the second floor and unfortunately there’s no elevator. The stairs are a bit steep so for those with large and heavy luggage it may be a little exhausting when arriving and departing. But nonetheless the staff was ready to help even with our luggage so in the end it wasn’t much of a problem.

It was in a beautiful old building. Amazing frescos on the ceilings, the photos really don’t do it justice. But facilities v modern. Wonderful air con kept us cool! So tastefully and beautifully renovated, a real ‘pearl’ and very Italian. Right in the heart of old Pisa, 5 minutes walk to the Leaning Tower. The breakfast was amazing - everything we could want. So in love with this place 😍

It was quite expensive for us (300 euros for 2 double rooms) but it was worth the money in my opinion. Would definitely treat ourselves and stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay at the B&B. It is quite new and has clearly been renovated with a lot of care and decorated with attention to the details. The location is very central, on the second floor of an older residential building. The room is comfortable, spacious and has air conditioning. The B&B only has 4 rooms, so it was quiet and peaceful while I was there. The bathroom is modern and has all amenities you would expect. I particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast. I arrived in Pisa early after a long journey and Simone was kind enough to let me check in early.

For me everything was great!

This was a wonderful (though very short) stay in a real gem in the heart of a lovely city. The accommodation suited us perfectly and was very comfortable. The hosts were excellent, communicated well and were very helpful. Pisa itself is beautiful too. Our primary holiday was for three nights in Florence but it was easier to travel to Pisa by plane so we booked one night there on the way back. Next time we will definitely want to spend more time in Pisa and will certainly look to book this accommodation again.

Very convenient, beautifully presented place to stay. Lovely breakfast in the morning and hosts who are very accommodating. I was able to use a key safe box to gain access so was free to explore as I wished without having to worry about checking in enabling me to spend time in Florence and Pisa despite only staying one night - perfect.

The hotel isn’t the easiest to find as it is a single door entrance down a little side street and you have to go up two flights of stairs to find the door for the hotel itself. Once in however it is really nice.
