ALL folks at the reception exceptional friendly and helpful. The location was perfect - very close to the SXSW convention centre and around the corner of lively 6th street. Style and vibe - great.

Room a little to small. No table no chairs. The pool is not so great for swimming, at least if other persons use it to. Pretty narrow. Also a bit pricey - but maybe that has to do with the period of time - SXSW

Great location in the middle of the action of down town. There’s no shortage of places to eat and drink and there are a lot of local tourist attractions. The front desk staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed having a stand alone shower.

The room was a touch smaller than I expected and there wasn’t much space to accommodate the suitcase I had with me as an overseas traveller. It never really felt like I could unpack all of the things I needed for my stay due to the size of the room.

Absolutely brilliant hotel with the friendliest staff! Room was pretty compact but bed was massive and so comfortable! The pool area was cute and we only had to wait maybe 5 mins for a bed to become available Great touch at giving 2 free drinks tokens for the bar, even though we actually forgot to use them! Location is right off 6th Street so if you want party and noise then this is the place for you! Personally we didn't go out around this area but was good to see it!

The rooms are super cute small but works. How ever you can heat the Neighbour tv and also voices as well as some of the music on sixth street. How ever to mention we had the room right next to the elevator

in the middle of everything so great location to just walk to many places. really love the style and attention to detail here.

Was charged extra for resort fees....which were charged with the original booking. After some back and forth was able to get the money refunded. Glad I caught it.

Ian at front desk was fabulous in accommodating us! All the staff was friendly but the servers on the 4th floor lounge are totally exceptional! These servers & bar tenders literally work their feet off! They are always smiling & friendly! Met Lillie one of the managers who was excellent & helped out when needed! Loved all the kindness at this hotell. Thank you for a memorable get away! Keep the weird! Thanks Austin!

Rooms way too small on the Tommy. Would have stayed in the Thomas but did not know

The pool service was not so good. Took a long time to get a drink or even be approached by staff. At one point it took over an hour to get our food order. The other server was able to take our order again which again took about 40 mins to get. The Server was able to comp the food. But it still was disappointed. The initial server didn’t even apologize and blamed other workers.

This hotel is rather lovely - split between a formal business hotel and the Tommie, an informal take on premium luxury. Great reception, excellent bar and pool area and more than enough staff to ensure you are cared for at all times. Location is just below 6th Street so you are just far enough from the noise and just close enough to the bars, live music, tacos and street parties. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short or longer stay (1 week) in Austin as it is so central and does offer access to the best parts of the city. Great bar(s), good food, great pool, karaoke night (!) and eclectic staff and customers.

I didn't include breakfast, so often went to the cafe on the ground floor which was rather plain and functional. Coffee in metal mugs, grits, average service and high prices meant I only went there if I had no other choice. Its not bad , its just not great like the rest of the hotel experience.

We loved our stay at the Tommie! The staff was incredibly welcoming and the hotel was designed to a t. The only thing I will say is rooms are a bit small - vanity specifically. And there's no complimentary coffee, but a great coffee bar on site. Pool area was gorgeous and the food was fantastic. The Tommie was accommodating with late check out and holding our bags for the day. Location cant be beat if you want something more central- i.e. not that far from Congress, East Austin, Downtown, etc. Would recommend!

I loved the variety of eateries. The food at Diner Bar was sooooo amazing! I also had a couple of frozen margaritas from the rooftop restaurant. Before my check-out time, I had breakfast at Grey Market. The room was very comfortable, and I had a city view. I had everything I needed in my room and didn't need to call room service or the front desk. The bed was extremely comfortable.

There was nothing that I didn't like about my stay here. I had fun exploring the downtown Austin area. I've already made plans with friends to return and we decided we'd stay here.
