It had very nice pool and cigar club for recreation. The room was amazing.

They should give water bottles every day. We had to buy bottles from the 2nd day and that too after much pestering from the restaurant.

The location is fantastic—in the heart of Almaty. The room was clean, spacious, and well-decorated, with complete amenities like a flat-screen TV, and complimentary Wi-Fi. The staff was friendly and accommodating, I particularly appreciated the receptionist which helped me with my reservation. The breakfast buffet was delicious, offering a wide variety of options, from fresh fruit and pastries to hot dishes like eggs and sausages.

There was a construction happening in front of the hotel. The dining area was a bit crowded during peak hours, which made it slightly less enjoyable.

It’s quite good location for the hotel, right in the center. The room was fine, perfectly clean and everything seems to be new. Breakfast had many varieties of steamed vegetables and every morning different options were available. The staff was friendly, the most professional and polite was Denis, he was always very attentive and did great job!!! I appreciate it.

The size of the room was disappointing, it was too small, no space for luggage. The hairdryer was quite old and no so good quality, same as shampoos and conditioner. It’s better to bring your own. It’s not mentioned anywhere that baby under 6y. can’t use swimming pool, so we couldn’t use it, unfortunately. This place is basically for the meetings and seminars, always full and staff too much busy, that’s why there is no time for details from staff side.

Location, price vs quality. Good breakfast. Bali spa had good facilities and their staff was very kind. Beauty saloon provided a good service.

The room was noisy. Furniture and carpets were old and worn down. The hotel carpets and some of the furniture needs refreshing. There was soot on the ceiling around the vents. The spa had an unfriendly policy for little kids - no children under 6 were allowed in the pool and sauna. This was not mentioned in the house rules.

Location, decor, spa and authentic Indonesian massage and staff, bed was comfortable, bedding was super warm and comfy breakfast was excellent. Including providing me with a basic breakfast box for a 5.30am tour. Quiet room with proper curtain shades. The hotel decor was what I thought was cool. The design of the spa facilities exceptional, the staff across the board were friendly and very helpful. Completely recommend especially as the general access to the spa is part of the room, but the hot oil massage was excellent and I’ve been to Indonesia and had massage around the world this was high end skill from the therapist!

The shower was only temperate and didn’t get warm hardly at all even after waiting. Aircon worked very well - had to turn it off as couldn’t find a happy medium( this is personal preference though)

My favourite hotel in Almaty and I don't understand the low ratings. Perfectly located in the city center, pleasant staff with a wonderful spa center that's worth returning to

The hotel rooms are quite oldschool and apparently the single rooms are very tiny, doubles are okay though and there's an issue with the mini-fridge disconnecting from electricity every time the guests leave the room so it's not perfect for food storage. Depending on room placement, the internet connection might not be perfect. The breakfast offer is quite limited and doesn't vary too much, but it's all okay considering price/ performance ratio, compared to other hotels in the neighbourhood.

Denis, the manager, did everything to make our stay at the hotel and in Almaty fantastic and unforgettable. He went above and beyond to give us advice and directions. The hotel is very charming, clean and beautiful. Overall the staff was helpful and friendly. The location couldn't be better. I highly recommend this hotel. Massage was also recommendable! Nice friendly staff !

The hot water was absent for almost 24 hours. For that reason we couldn't really use the facilities such as the indoor swimming pool after the massage.

Rooms are very nice at the new part of the hotel.

The rooms in the old part are not good and smelly and very old furniture. The lobby and the furniture there are not good at all. Curtanes as well, Main door needs painting. Need complete renewal. Room windows at the new part need to have black out since there is alot of light coming through and making it difficult to sleep.

Overall, it is a fabulous hotel with an enviable location While the decor may possibly be considered as somewhat dowdy and dated, the rooms are incrediblely spacious and super comfortable Best of all were the staff. Everyone was eager to help and their command of English was high They helped me resolve all my issues

I usually like staying in this hotel while I am in Almaty for business. It's a beautify and classy place with a nice pool, "cigar club" and spa. Breakfast is good and the location is convenient.

There is always a problem getting me the official documents ready that I need for work. Twice now, they have had to mail the "AVR" to me in Astana because, "the accountant is not here." This is an annoying inconvenience. Also, during my last stay, the sauna was not hot enough.
