The room was very comfortable & stylish. The location was excellent - spoilt with choices for morning coffee & brunches, at least a dozen within 5 minutes walk. The staff were amazing: they were all so friendly, efficient, accommodating, made my pup appear very welcome, & they all went that extra bit to add positively to my experience. I've traveled extensively, & this was honestly one of my best hotel experiences in years. Great value for money, too.

No complaints, at all. I traveled in a van, & whilst it was a bit tight getting down to the car park (and out again), it was definitely doable, No scrapes or scratches - just take your time & be patient. Not a problem in an Econovan.

Had a great stay. The room was great and well appointed, although the location of the bathroom light switch and exhaust fan was a bit peculiar as it was hidden behind the towel rack. It would be more user-friendly if it was positioned closer to the door frame. An easy walk to Smith St and catching a tram into the CBD. Discovered some great bars and eateries nearby, too. Would definitely stay at a Quest Hotel again if this is the standard.

Having not been in Collingwood before, all the graffiti in the neighbourhood was a bit confronting, but it is Collingwood, so it is to be expected.

Location is great, close to Fitzroy and city and the staff is always very nice and helpful, especially Gustavo. We did appreciate they facilitated our request for a higher level room with a nice view for our anniversary and they gave us a bottle of wine too. I also really like the layout of the room with the kitchenette and sitting area. The kitchen is well appointed too.

I have been a customer since the hotel opened and this time I thought the bathroom was not as clean as it could be. The grout in the shower needs a good clean and so does the floor tiles behind the door. We were told we would get service every day except Sunday, but the room was never done on the day after our arrival and towels and coffee never refilled. Reception did bring fresh towels when asked tho.

This is an apartment hotel, my room was a studio with a balcony on the sixth floor. The studio is small but for a single person had enough space to never feel cramped. The rooms are well designed in the layout with a wardrobe and small desk as well as a kitchen and dining area with cooking pans, plate, utensils to make regular meals. The bathroom has a shower and nice vanity and again well designed with plenty of light. A free laundry area is available on the first floor as well as a gym. Staff are very helpful. Wi-fi was excellent. The hotel is walking distance to the CBD and popular Smith Street restaurants and nightlife as well as Fitzroy and Treasury Gardens.

There is nothing that I did not like. There is no restaurant in the building but several cafes with easy walking distance.

Very clean well equipped rooms. Comfy bed and good air con and lovely MOR bathroom toilerties. Staff communication was excellent from booking to checkout. We were a group of 8 in 2 x 2 bedroom apartments and were very happy with our rooms. Excellent location for visiting the Garden Show, great selection of coffee shops and restaurants all in easy walking distance.

There is some building work going on right next door, with workers on the Tools at 7:30am, but we were up by then anyway so it did not bother us.

Great to be near to Smith St and Gertrude St restaurants. Working in Abbotsford Convent, it was a pleasant 30 minute walk and one of the few nice places to stay near(ish) there.

Rooms are not very soundproof, which meant muffled conversation came through the walls at all hours of the night. Lighting in the bathroom very hard to work with. For the price, there was no pool or gym - but my stay went into Grand Prix time so that may have increased the price, even though I booked nearly 4 weeks ahead.

Check in Staff and at reception throughout the stay were wonderful. Made you feel very welcome and were professional. The facilities were all very new and everything is in good condition. We loved the accessibility/disability room and facilities for member of our party in Wheel chair. Excellent condition. Thank goodness for the car park as we needed it for our rental car. Location is only a few minutes into the city. Convenience store just downstairs for some essentials and a few great coffee shops within a stones throw of the hotel.

The car park is great but very narrow and steep access down to basement was difficult for our older members in our party. Also if you have lowered suspension vehicle may be a problem. But really just small issue compared to the rest of the positives of our stay.

Excellent staff, really friendly and helpful service. Great location, close to a tram stop and in the heart of Collingwood/Fitzroy for wandering around this area. Room was clean. I stayed in a studio which was perfect for a solo traveller. I liked that there were free laundry facilities available just off reception even though I was in a studio and didn't have a washer/dryer in my room.

As it was F1 weekend, the price I paid was obviously massivley inflated, but that's the same for all of Melbourne that weekend.

Great location, very comfortable rooms, and excellent staff. I was here solo for work and got a 1br apartment. It had plenty of space, a full kitchen, and washer and dryer. I would absolutely stay here again.

I was in room 308, which faces directly onto an alley surrounded by other medium rise apartment buildings. As a result, there was very little natural light and the balcony was visible from many of the other apartments. None of this bothered me much, but it may be worth considering a room on the Wellington St (East facing) side, if this might be an issue for you.

The 2 bedroom apartment we had was excellent - modern, clean, comfortable and had every ring we needed. The hotels location was within walking distance to all the places we wanted to go to, ie. the MCG, Fitzroy etc. and there were so many cafes and restaurants that we went to that were only a short walk away. Also the staff were always so helpful and attentive and always had a smile on their face when we walked past them. 😊 Thank you Quest Collingwood for making our stay that little extra special! 😊
