The staff are very, very kind and helpful - all from the reception to the cleaning. The room very clean and new towels in the bathroom every second day. The breakfast is fine, a lot to choose from. We liked the peace and quiet in the area and then just a few hundred meters there is the buzzling city. Also a very short walk to the connection boat to the airport. We would surely like to come back to Casa Accedemia.

Although we never travel with a television as an itinerary requirement, the day’s windown is nice to check in with the world and perhaps a movie. Not having a TV was the downside to Casa Accademia. Sure, phones do the same thing but the screen size does matter. Perhaps you should make a statement very visible “This property does NOT have TVs” just as a heads up.

The hotel is perfectly located - a 5 minute walk from the Zattere vaporetto stop, in a quiet and safe area. It's a 7 minute walk to the Accademia Museum and a 5 minute walk to the Guggenheim. San Marco is a 20-minute walk away. The room is minimalist but very clean, with a comfortable bed. The room was very warm (I was travelling at the end of March and was worried about freezing, but it was not the case). The hotel has a lift. Really good internet. The staff are very friendly and were always willing to help with anything from housekeeping to recommending good restaurants nearby. The hotel also offers an optional continental breakfast for 9 euros (coffee, tea, juice, eggs, cheese, meat, pastries, cereals, jam, fruit and vegetables). Everything was fresh. You can leave your luggage in the luggage room.

All in all, I liked the whole thing. But it would be nice to replace the kettles - the one I had in my room smelt very plastic and the water had a strange flavour because of it.

The location was great and the instructions to get there were very clear. The room was very spacious and better than pictured with a nice view of the canal below. I had put a note requesting a double bed if available even though we had booked a twin and the beds had been pushed together on arrival which was great! The luggage storage was excellent bonus as we had a late flight.

A mini fridge would have been useful to keep water cool. The walls were very thin so you could hear everything in the corridor and next door.

Really liked our stay in Casa Accademia. The area is calm, but not too far from the city centre, Peggy Guggenheim museum is right around the corner, very easily reachable with vaporetto (get yourself a mutliday pass to make your stay easier!). You had the impression you were staying among the locals: there was a school nearby, which gave it extra character. Staff was superfriendly and even baked vegan chroissants for me because I'm lactose intolerant. Oh, and no one seemed to notice the beautiful rooftop terrace! Would stay here again we were ever to come back to Venice!

The rooms are very basic, not much decorating done, but all the essential comfort is there. I believe the hotel building was previously a convent and it shows, bit of a carehome vibe still there. But it has its charms: who needs fancy schmancy if you're out and about the whole time. The area where it's located was perfect for us!

Vety helpful staff. Good room, good bathroom, AC. The hotel is nicely furnished, with some personal touches. Good atmosphere.

The hotel is located in a residential district. Which is fine, of course, but when travelling by train you need some public transport to get there. You need to get the hang of it. (Bus 1 or 4, tickets at the sigarette shop in the train station.) On weekdays - no problem. The buses run. On Sundays, it is a bit problematic to get away. Apart from this, ithe hotel is great value for money.

The hotel's location offers convenient access to a variety of amenities and retail establishments. Guests can enjoy a pleasant 20-minute walk to Ponte di Rialto from the hotel. The accommodations provide a welcoming and comfortable environment, with particularly cozy rooms and well-appointed beds and one of the best showers we've used. The hotel staff exemplify exceptional hospitality, with a special mention for the guy who assisted us during check-in. My stay was thoroughly enjoyable, and I found the terrace on the third floor to be especially delightful, offering a captivating view of the Basilica.

There's no fridge in the room, also the socket was broken in the toilet which we have informed the person in the reception. The walls were also a bit thin. I could hear people from the other room.

It's a clean, quiet and comfortable place to stay near the Accademia Gallery. The room is well furnished and there is an electric kettle. I had a nice balcony over a spacious patio. Communication with the staff is easy and effcient.

People come to smoke in the patio and the smell gets into the room if you don't close the window.

Casa Accademia is in a fantastic location, and so easy to get to from the transportation. We stayed 2 nights and all staff we met were incredibly friendly and helpful (from lending bottle openers to power adapters, to answering a multitude of questions). The property is immaculate. Breakfast was really lovely. We were 3 generations traveling from Aus - l we booked a family room (excellent!), superior singles and twin rooms - all were extremely clean and comfortable. Excellent value. Highly recommend.

I was very satisfied with my stay. Above all, the personnel was very friendly and competent. The hotel is situated practically, near Accademia, Salute and Zattere vaporetto stops. There are nice bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood, and also Accademia and Peggy Guggenheim museums. My single room was smallish and simple, but super clean and had everything I needed for my stay. Especially the canal view (quiet canal without sidewalks) was fantastic, and also the sounds of the canal. The breakfast was clearly above average by Italian standards; a good choice of food and drinks, not just a cornetto and a cappuccino. It was promptly taken care of by a friendly person, grazie! All in all, would like to return, and recommend to others.
