Phenomenal location with access to restaurants, bars, and the beautiful and historic city center of Bruges. The room will do--certainly not fancy--but the location makes up for it.

There was a sign in the kitchen that said if we didn't do the dishes, there would be a fifteen euro charge. First, I think that is poor service; second, there wasn't a kitchen towel; third, should subsequent guests trust the cleaning ability and thoroughness of the previous guest?

Great for our short stay, the location is incredible, right off the main square, and all the staff were super friendly and accommodating, WiFi worked great and we enjoyed the small communal terrace. The hotel is fairly basic so don't be expecting "bells and whistles", it doesn't have AC which normally isn't a problem as the windows open allowing the fresh air in - we happened to be visiting during a heat wave and made good use of the table fan that is provided. For the location and the great staff a thumbs up from me.

Ameneties, especially the bathroom soap / shower gel / pillows are quite basic (plastic sachet), no AC.

The location by the market square cannot be beaten. We could see the giant bell tower from our hotel room. The staff was very friendly and spoke so many languages! The offer bike rentals at the hotel, if that’s something you’re into. They had an elevator, but no air conditioning. Even in June, though, it cooled off at night so you could sleep with the window open.

Without an air conditioner, the window needed to be open for the breeze, and one night a bunch of loud teenagers kept biking down the street, stopping under our window and talking really loudly. You also have to take a step up to get into the bathroom, which was hard for my mom to do.

Brilliant hotel...everywhere I looked online was hugely expensive for a room in the city centre, then I found this place. I booked it reluctantly thinking there must be a catch somewhere but it was absolutely brilliant. Right next to the bell tower...l mean my window literally opened onto the east face of the bell tower...in the very centre of the city. The room was very clean and safe, soft bed and tea/coffee facilities. There was an outdoor smoking/drinking terrace on my floor which was quiet and nicely decorated. Never heard a peep during the night, staff was brilliant especially the fella who checked me in and explained everything to me.

Nothing really, bathtub was a bit outdated but what do you expect for £65 in the centre of historic, medieval Brugge?.?...part of the experience right?

My single deluxe room was located in a different building from the reception, but just a few feet away with a private entrance. The reception was nice when checking in and when checking out they allowed me to leave my suitcase in their closet until I was ready to leave. The staff speak many languages so they will answer your questions and help you in whatever language you speak. The room was very comfortable and the large windows open towards the back, overlooking a small cafe behind the hotel. I could partially see the church spire of Our Lady Church. The bed was large and comfortable and there was a complimentary tea kettle and instant coffee in the room. The location was excellent, right next to the famous Belfry of Bruges. It's a great landmark and there are many restaurants on the adjacent square. It is also within walking distance of all the major attractions so you have history, art, food, and shopping very convenient to the hotel. There is a free shuttle bus from Bruges Train Station to the Market Square, but I was easily able to walk there with my suitcase. Just remember that European sidewalks and streets can be cobble or brick so rolling suitcases will take a beating. Overall this is an excellent value for a hotel in Bruges and the location is ideal for any short or long stay.

My room was ensuite with a separate WC and bathroom. My only complaint is that the bathroom was so tiny that I couldn't stand in it, let alone dry my hair. The standing shower was so tight that I don't know how a larger person would be able to use it.

A fantastic little mini apartment right in the centre of Bruge, literally in the shadow of the clock tower. Just a few steps from the market square. Location would be hard to beat. Slept 5 comfortably. Dining table and chairs, sofa, TV, fridge and an outdoor terrace with table and chairs. Quirky layout with wood beamed ceiling. Midday check out was really handy. The staff were very friendly and helpful, with good communication via email. Park nearby in the underground car park for €16 for 24 hours and forget the car. Walk everywhere or hire a bike.

Decor was probably a little tired, but we spent very little time in the room, so not an issue.

This hotel is perfectly located for exploring Bruges, just a short walk from all the main attractions. The rooms were spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable, with cozy beds that made it hard to leave in the morning. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay in the city.

While I enjoyed my stay, I was disappointed by the extra charge for my dog. There were no services or amenities provided for pets, so I don’t see the reason for the additional cost. It feels unnecessary to pay extra when the dog doesn’t use any resources.

Excellent location for access to Bruges shops, museums, market etc. The room was clean, we had wifi and a kitchen with microwave and fridge to prepare food and make coffee. The beds were very comfortable plus extra bedding which came in handy. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made us feel welcome. All in all well worth the visit.

Although it does not contribute to the comfort and amenities, we did think the room could do with some painting and updating, perhaps include some USB ports.

The hotel has a fantastic location, which is its only significant advantage. Unfortunately, my stay was far from comfortable.

The room had a strong, unpleasant smell, which I suspect came from the dirty floor covering. Even on a cold evening, I had to keep the window open to air out the room. The beds were uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. Overall, the hotel is in serious need of refurbishment and better cleanliness standards. I would not recommend staying here unless these issues are addressed.

The location is outstanding. The value for the money is excellent because of the location. Centrally located right off the square - couldn't ask for better location for the money. This is a modest hotel, with stupendous hot water and somewhat cozy beds. The hotel is cozy but is a good value for the cost. The managers were friendly, flexible and accommodating. We would stay here again if looking for this type of stay.

The bathroom was tiny but manageable.
