I loved the size of the room, it was very comfortable, nice size bed, seating area, fridge and microwave in room was a nice touch I also loved how attentive the reception staff are. The housekeeping did an amazing job when they gave it a quick clean for myself and my partner - Lastly we loved the breakfast and the price was even better! Excellent value for money, all in all a very pleasant stay. Will for sure be back

Only downfall for us was the bathroom only had a shower but saying that it was a very good shower you had the rounded overhead shower and also a hand held which is brilliant for quicky having a wash if you're in a rush, again very clean and wasn't too upset about the bath because of that reason.

Great location for Gatwick early starts, rooms were very big. Great price

No food availability apart from a vending machine. Ate in Royal Oak pub close by. Although staff were good food was average but cheap

Location, Manager and the room. Not my first stay here, the manager was welcoming and accommodating, friendly without being over familiar.

Nothing to dislike.

A lovely room in a building with character. Lovely North Sussex countryside. Staff were lovely.

The only issue was the Lane leading up to the hotel, which I see other people have also mentioned. When I was there, it had been raining. The huge potholes (I've never seen anything like it!) were full of water. I imagine many cars have been damaged driving down this lane. I was a pedestrian! The only way to get to the hotel was to walk up this drive. I found it quite dangerous as I could easily have fallen down a pothole! Luckily I had been hiking so I had a hiking pole with me and could feel the depth of the potholes and where not to walk. Water in the worst area was nearly up to my knees so I had to dry my boots out every night. I know this lane probably is not the responsibility of the hotel as it is outside the grounds but it is extremely off-putting!

The Hotel is in a very quiet location, almost hidden from the world . Found it peaceful , the short time we were there. The property yes as stated in most reviews appears outdated BUT. There is nothing like functioning facilities when one books a place to stay . We had a good hot shower. Bed looked small on appearance but on sleeping on the bed it was very comfortable and surprisingly fitted two people comfortably . Leaving adequate space for one to have a good nights sleep. Surprisingly the room had tea making facilities, and a little fridge to keep one’s refreshments . I take soya milk, was able to buy my own and keep In the fridge. We were given one key sadly but I’m Sure had we asked for another we would have been given one. We just did not bother . The one key somehow would not work on return after midnight but the staff were excellent . THREE members of staff came to our aid. Issue was resolved instantly with pleasant looking faces. Thank you. Will certainly book again. Pleasant experience considering we were hesitating initially due to reviews we read . Good value for money indeed , peaceful , greenery area large but may need some attention due to the rains.

It was wa it was nice hotel.. Everything we needed for a nights stay before holidays the following morning. Lovely man on reception we chilled in our room due to it being late and had facilities to make a hot drink. There was also a fridge and microwave in the room... We didn't use them but was a bonus.

Unfortunately the family above us kept us awake into the early hours due to young children running about then ul early running about the next morning... It wasn't just thin floor boards it was children being allowed to run and jump around. This was not the hotals fault though.

The room was spacious and very clean, comfortable and quiet. There was plenty of tea, coffee and sugar available. The bed was extremely comfortable, I slept very well after a long journey to the airport hotel. Plenty of free parking available too, which was a bonus. The staff were very friendly and helpful, service with a smile.

The only downside was the bathroom door handle was broken, so the door wouldn't pull closed. Not a huge issue, but a cheap small fix with some wood screws would easily fix the handle and enable the door to close and guests to have privacy when using the bathroom.

The room was clean and comfortable. When I asked for more milk and warned them I use a lot, I was given a whole carton, much to my surprise and delight. We even had a fireplace in our room as a retained feature from when the property was built.

The kettle does not fit in the sink to fill it, and we could not have a drinking glass. We used a water bottle we had not drunk from, but it begs the question of what other people use and what remains in the kettle.

Great room was comfortable and well presented and value for money. Loved the quality of the soft furnishings

There was a funny noise coming from the bathroom radiator the pipes were rattling on the first day as soon as we got into the room it lasted about 30mins or so. The room was so hot we had to open the window to get some air in the room. . It would have been nice if we didn’t have to pay extra for breakfast. The room key stopped working on the second day we had to ring the door bell for access

The location is excellent. Only a 4 minute drive to the North Terminal Purple Parking (albeit at 3am in the morning) and about 3 minutes from Crawley Town Centre. The room was large, the beds were comfy and the tea and coffee was a nice (and unexpected) touch. Also, the walk in shower was large and with plenty of hot water (again, at 2am!)

No Hair Dryer, which upset the wife, and the road in was a bit bumpy and could do with levelling out.
