I posted it on this review page in error. My Review on the Stay Hotel Trinidad Porto is below With regards to The Stay Hotel Porto IT WAS EXCELLENT After arriving in Porto and having an extremely terrible experience with Booking.com with regards to our original accommodation here I booked in at this Stay Hotel The staff were always friendly and helpful. The room was perfect and the location right in the hub of Porto, I highly recommend this Hotel to everyone who visits Porto. You will have an amazing stay thanks to the staff, the perfect accommodation and location of this hotel After our disastrous beginning to our trip to Porto our stay and experience was saved by the amazing, friendly staff at the Stay Hotel Trinidad Porto. I look forward to hopefully staying here again in the future.

Everything was perfect at the Stay Hotel Trinidad Porto

The hotel is very conveniently located near the Trindade metro station and only a 10 minute walk from the historical city centre. The room was spacious and clean with a partial view of the city (the other part was a large parking house, but then I was staying for work, so didn't spend too much time looking out of the window). The buffet breakfast offered both a warm meal - scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and beans - and a selection of cold buffet. Not very copious, but quite sufficient for me. On the whole, I would book again on a future visit.

Nice, modern hotel in a great location in upper Porto with a really enjoyable walk down to the river passing shops of all kinds, cafes, bars and restaurants galore. The breakfast was good value at 12.5 and it was available until midday - very civilised! The staff at the front desk were very helpful. Mercado do Bolhão is nearby and is a classy recently-renovated market with excellent-looking restaurants BUT the whole thing is closed on Sundays and Mondays which seems crazy! The city is a pleasure to stroll around - the steep climb back up from the river was no problem for me but might be for some. The Luis I bridge is a beautiful and spectacular sight looking up at it or looking down from it.

I love about everything about the hotel except that I had housekeeping walked into my room twice even though I didn't have the blue sign on. It was very uncomfortable and they didn't seem to care. After that I didn't feel comfortable in the room since there was not latch on the door. Also, some of the front staff was not very friendly and I felt I was bothering them when asked for help with the elevator or directions. The property itself was great so it all came down to the staff.

Excellently located but quiet and safe neighbourhood - 10 minutes' walk from the metro station (Trindade) with direct line to the airport; a stone throw's away to most of the main sight-seeing spots and restaurants / bars. Staffs were all very friendly and helpful. They were available and attentive. Beds and the room set-up were very comfortable. It was also a treat to us as they gave us the best-view room on the top floor. What a treat! Thank you for being super!

I really liked the staff who are very kind and helpful. The lady at the reception gave me all the useful information about interesting things happening in the city and which places to visit. She also helped me a lot by finding transportation to the airport when I was in a rush. I also liked the room, which was very nice and comfortable. In my opinion, the location is perfect, the hotel is in the center of Porto, a 3-minute walk from the Trinidad metro station.

We loved the location!It is near metro station just 4 mins walk.The brekafast buffet is superb!You can make your own orange juice fresh and the selection of the breads was also good.

The efficiency of reception.We ask the night shift about Porto and she said that we can ask more the next day since her co worker is from Portugal

This Stay Hotel is located very near Trindade Metro and a short walk to many local attractions. There are also many great restaurants and cafes nearby. We have stayed at this chain’s hotel at the airport many times and were happy to find that this one was a similar quality. That isn’t always the case.

We were content with everything at this hotel.

Room was nice and clean but lacked security,for example a safe had to carry passport and money with us at all times Breakfast we had little choice as every day was the same could do with a scramble or boiled egg and a consistent supply of boiling water breakfast served from 06:30 by 06:45 water was only warm not hot enough to make proper tea Location was good for Metro to and from Airport

Breakfast was OK but lacked boiling water. Could have had some more sugar,milk in the room,

Friendly staff, clean, quiet

The view from the window was of a strange parking building and stones. There were no sockets by the bed, the bathroom stank from the drain. On the first day of staying at the hotel there were no eggs during breakfast. Also the room was quite dark, sometimes there was not enough light or an additional lamp
