Very handy for the railway station, and close to the main street. Simple check in, room a little basic but clean and comfortable. Breakfast choices OK with usual standard buffet, no hot food, but toaster and sandwich toaster provided which was good as I could make my own toasted sandwiches. For anybody in the area make sure to take a train trip along the scenic Douro Valley, the best bits are east of Regua, although the views going west as far as Marco are also very nice

We just stayed over here for a night because we had some wine tastings booked in the area. Since the price was a bargain I didn't expect much but I have to say this place was incredible. The staff were so friendly and everything was really clean. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to the Duoro Valley

Hotel right by the quaint railway station and river..very quiet and a lovely room with plenty of space and nice bath... Breakfast had a good choice and there was a large patio with excellent views..the host was friendly and was fluent in English... top marks!

Didn't like having to leave there!

Weak wifi in room but better in the common area Lumpy pillow, shower box filled due to blockage probably. Thin walls so could be noisy if neighbours inconsiderate

Clean large room with tho separate beds, clean large bathroom, nonstop reception with helpful staff.

The room was above the noisy street with huge traffic even during the night. In the room 112 it was impossible to close the window properly and so the noise and dust from the street went permanentry partially into the room. The breakfest was a bit simply. One bed was a bit noisy.

Location, service, price..and with breakfast included? Wow..a good one at that with a patio overlooking the river..special

It's noisy being on the road..but then again even the pricy hotel across the street must have some issue..both being on the main road.,but it's location right by the water and by the train is perfect I'l be back

Near to train station. Decent breakfast provided. Was able to leave luggage earlier and check in a little earlier. Bath and a shower and plentiful hot water .

No lift but manager helped me with my case which was really appreciated. Bed hard and pillows lumpy and bumpy. Didn't sleep great.

It is a little aged but very comfortable and clean . The breakfast was good and the coffee machine made excellent coffee. Close to the train station. Very reasonable price. Our room (201) was large and had a view of river and interesting traffic circle below where we watched trucks full of grapes 🍇.

the location is perfect, just 1 min walking distance to the train station and close to many restaurants/shops. the room is simple, clean and user friendly because you can find hooks for hanging clothes/towels in the toilet which I can't find it in other hotels in Portugal. breakfast is good.

We've stayed here quite a few times now. It's right outside the station so very convenient. It's always clean and comfortable, without any frills. Cheap, but perfectly acceptable. Can't fault it.
