The breakfast was delicious. Both cooked and continental were on offer and included in the accommodation fee. Everthing was fresh, made to our own requirements and delivered to your table. Staff were extremely attentive, offering top ups and were always on hand to ensure we had everything we needed. This friendly, personalised service is much preferred to a buffet style and we were delighted. The standard of hygiene in the whole place is high. The bedrooms we were extremely comfortable and the quiet location of the tavern made for a good night's sleep. There was plenty of hot water for wash hand basins and showers. This was our second visit and the owners remembered us and were very welcoming. We would not hesitate to recommend the White Horse Tavern and will definitely return.
I could honestly not fault anything.

The staff were very friendly and helpful ensuring an enjoyable stay. The general feel was welcoming and very traditional. The family rooms are great when travelling with teenagers and offered great value for money. The bed was comfy. The wifi was reliable and free. Very nice breakfast included (coffee choice is limited) which catered for dietary requirements. Overall cleanliness was very good which is an essential for me. Fans provided which were handy. We would definitely stay again if in the area.
The room would benefit from a fan to the outdoors from the shower room, there was a mildew-type smell which may be due to damp being trapped in the room? The towels could do with replacing as they were frayed at the edges but they were clean which was the mean thing. The TV in one of the rooms didn't seem to work...? But we didn't take this up with staff as it wasn't an essential item for us.

We always stay at the White Horse Tavern when meeting up with friends in Telford and the hosts are always welcoming. The room was clean with a nice bathroom & shower. It was a very hot day, but fortunately the window could be opened and an electric fan was available which was very helpful. The in-room tea/coffee facilities were very good, with a wide range and plenty of milk too. The breakfast was really nice and something that we always look forward too.
There was nowhere in the bathroom to hang the towels. So a useful addition would be a few hooks on the wall.

Jackie and Rob were delightful and most welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them our room was lovely with all matching furniture and a dressing table / desk, central heating and a fan, bed was comfy and shower was a good size, lovely complimentary Breakfast too the bacon was exceptionally good and they even had gluten free cornflakes and bread as my husband is gluten intolerant, lovely large car park, and ground floor bedrooms for disabled what’s not to like, stay there you won’t be disappointed highly recommended we’ll definitely be back Linda and David

Really convenient next to the tennis centre for the pickleball competition, all reviews had been good before we booked and found exactly the same, nice modernised comfortable,WARM ! rooms, nice shower room. Owner really nice friendly lady, ready for us when we arrived Really nice breakfast (also ate in the evening and food good again(,reasonably priced) Would definitely use again and or recommend
Outside did look a bit tired and old fashioned and in need of refreshing so may put people off if they were just walking past but was a decorator doing some painting while we were there so presumeowners looking to spruce the building up

Excellent Service, polity and courteous and very friendly staff very good dinner and various choices on the menu of the atmosphere and bar service. Definitely we will come back there in the future.
The breakfast choices were a bit limited . had english breakfast the tomatoe slice was very small and not done warm. No choice of coffees only one type. Bed matres was very hard that effect my sleep lack of extra blanket that would come handy but probably if you ask for it the staff would help you out

Very nice pub/hotel with comfortable accommodation and well appointed room. Reasonably priced food and drinks, both dinner and breakfast were good albeit a little basic - good value for money though. Staff very pleasant, helpful and welcoming. I would definitely stay again.
Unfortunately although the room was very good, the shower didn't work properly and I couldn't get the water to go below scalding hot so could not take a shower. I mentioned this to staff during breakfast and was told that this often happened to the shower in that room and that the landlord could fix it in a couple of minutes as it was just a question of adjusting a button on the heat control - and I could go back in and shower if I wanted. Unfortunately I was fully packed and ready to leave by then so did not have time - but if the fault happens regularly and is an easy fix, then why not have it fixed properly so it didn't happen again?

The White Horse Tavern is only about ten minutes from Telford International Centre, which is where we were for the weekend. It is spotlessly clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff are incredibly friendly, polite and helpful, nothing was too much effort for them. The food is basic "pub grub", but really tasty and served quickly and hot (I hate being given a lukewarm meal, which happens far too often!) I would not hesitate to recommend the White Horse Tavern to anyone looking for good food, clean facilities, fabulous staff, and excellent value for money. I would definitely stay there again.
Nothing, it was great!

I recommend staying here instead of choosing other hotels. Very good English breakfast, affordable price, nice and friendly service. My room was very comfortable, clean and the heating worked. I found everything what I needed for 2 overnights: clean towels, bed linen, cosmetics, hair dryer as in the booking description. The location to Telford city center was convienient and I was able to order a taxi in a reasonable price. If you are a horse lover, you will love it. I travel a lot for business reasons and visit many hotels. It is not luxary place, but in my opinion in good standard and with very good service.
Smell from the kitchen on the corridors and close to main entrance. Using some aroma diffusers would be a good solution.

The staff were very friendly, welcoming and attentive. It met our needs brilliantly. Travelling as a family of 3, nan, mum and daughter each having our own room/space was perfect. Parking on site was very handy. Facilities were great too.
One slight issue was notice. Our room ground floor D was next to someone who was very loud and up talking until late hours. My daughter had an important event the next day, which she needed a good night's rest for, but sadly this was difficult with the noise. In the end we used earplugs to dull the noise but could still be heard. So better sound proofing would be beneficial.
