I liked the motel overall. They have been very creative and clever with their decorating which was a hoot. I liked the coffee pot and instant coffee, tea, hot chocolate. Not having to use a coffee filter was great! The plug ins by the bed were great, too. Bed was comfortable.

The parking lot was full but I found parking on the other side of the fence-no problem Not much a person can do about the full parking lot. That means business is good. I haven't any other comments in this box.

Great vibe when we arrived. Recently renovated and styled to perfection. Immaculately clean with everything you need including a kettle. The owner was so helpful with suggesting places to eat where we went to the brewery and had lovely meal which was reasonably priced. The bakery in the morning was also delicious. Lovely town close to national park. They have a lovely patio area where you can have your coffee. Would have stayed longer and explored the area more but we were on a tight schedule.

Nothing to not like

So nicely decorated; car right out in front of the room. Very very clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. Had toiletries, hair dryer, coffee bar, everything we needed. So close to Mesa Verde where we were headed. Staff was very helpful in finding places to eat in the area. Had delicious breakfast and dinner in Mancos.

Rooms are not sound proof, so you can hear your neighbors, but everyone was quiet by 10 pm. Towels are beautiful but not super absorbent

Very unique, cleanest motel/hotel I have ever stayed in my life, so cute and very 50’s retro look and feel to the property. Have fun names for the rooms in addition to room numbers. Reminiscent of the Route 66 court yard motels. Bed was outstanding- very comfortable and sheets were amazing. I cannot say enough good about this motel. Love❤️love💗 love 💕 it.

That they are not located in every town I visit along my travels.

It was very easy to find and a great place to stay when visiting Mesa Verde. The rooms were all newly renovated and very nice and spacious. It also had the essentials, plenty of plugs and hanging spaces. I also liked the chairs outside the room and the ice machine. The receptionist was very sweet.

We really enjoyed the place and would stay again. If there was anything to mention it would be that the hot tub wasn’t very hot and smelt musty musty so we didn’t use it and we love the ease of free breakfast in the morning but I don’t think they had a lot of space for that. It would be nice if they could add it at some point.

Great location near Mesa Verde NP. Exceptionally clean. Great wifi. Also just really FUN! New owners have worked hard to make the property fun and inviting. Each room has a Name as well as a number and inside are retro appointments (retro frig and microwave, fun wall paintings ). Real glasses and coffee mugs.

I loved it. However, I can imagine it is not everyone's cup of tea? it is a remodeled old roadside motel... The rooms are smaller (but ours was fine for a single or a couple), no pool (but they do have a hot tub), no fancy breakfast (which gives you an excuse to walk a few blocks into this lovely town to the bakery or Cafe.

To be honest, we booked this motel because it was close to Mesa Verde National Park and because it appeared to be the cheapest when we were making reservations. I wasn't expecting much. The care that was put into artfully renovating this roadside motel was incredible. It was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

It wasn't really expected, but it would have been helpful to have an accessible washer and dryer for cleaning clothes on the road. Although breakfast wasn't included, the motel provides great recommendations for breakfast in the small town.

Was perfect and better than expected. Staff was excellent. You can tell someone invested a lot into this. The hot tub was free and worked well. I hiked at Mesa Verde National Park and then went to a local brewery for dinner. The downtown area had good art and a great cafe. I really liked this town and will come back.

The bed was a little uncomfortable in the single queen room

Very clean motel. The owners are very welcoming and funny. I loved the picnic and spa area by coffeehouse. The instant coffee was delicious and I enjoyed in the picnic area to watch the sun rise. The beds were extremely comfortable too and the decor was fun.

Nothing only a bit pricey but we were visiting peak season and everything has gotten expensive.

Great location outside of Mesa Verde NP, we booked it for one night after a half day tour. Love the Fenceline cider brewery nearby.  Appreciated the AC which kept us very comfortable in the room. 

So-so bed/pillows, instant coffee in the AM was meh (but the local bakery has amazing coffee, which we waited for to open so we could get on the road to Moab).
