Our recent short stay at was largely enjoyable and met our family's needs. The unit we occupied was notably spacious, featuring a comfortable queen bed, a convenient sofa bed, and two twin beds, providing ample room for our family of two adults and two children. We appreciated the thoughtful provision of basic kitchen essentials, including a small milk carton for coffee creamer. The staff also kindly accommodated our request to have the sofa bed set up prior to our arrival, which was a great convenience.

While our stay was positive overall, there were a few areas that could be improved. The WiFi connection in our unit was consistently poor, which was a minor inconvenience. We also found the separate toilet room to be quite cramped, despite the general benefit of having the toilet separate from the shower. Lastly, the cabin unit itself felt a bit cold, though the provided electric blankets were a welcome addition and effectively addressed this issue. Despite these minor points, we had a good experience and would consider staying here again for its spacious family accommodations and attentive service.

We loved the staff, they were all very friendly, the cafe and food there was delicious - felt like home away from home really... With all the luxuries! Our motel room was serviced daily which was amazing, we've not had that at other holiday parks we've stayed at (not daily servicing)

The only thing we had an issue doing was buying unlimited internet packs due to not being able to connect to the internet well through our phone provider. Once we had brought the packs it would cut out from time to time. But that would definitely not deter us from coming again!

Room to move in accommodation. Sky tv gave great entertainment options, lots of activities (some free) for the kids, beds comfy, clean, and super great staff... nothing was a problem and all service with a smile. Totally worth the trip and i will definitely book again. Great place for families. So close to everything including fishing at the beach. Kids loved the activities on offer. Thanks for an awesome holiday!

Toilet door was hard to close, shower curtain too short and washing machine / dryer not efficient as did not spin and dry well. Apart from these fixable issues, great price and so worth the visit! Thanks.

Well worth our money spent tidy friendly staff good location close to everything around not far from beach lovely view

Would have been nice to have a coffee table or something next to couch or chairs for a place to put our drink or something when sitting there and didn't like how we had to drive or walk right round to the front just to access going out across the road to the beach etc would have been nice if there was a gate to access down where we were if we wanted to just go for a walk but besides that we were happy with our stay

Will be making another trip back here! My daughter loved the selection of playgrounds, even though it rained most of the weekend we still made good use of them. Loved that we were walking distance to the wildlife park. We didn't get to explore much as it did rain most of the weekend but I could see us being very busy here on a beautiful sunny weekend! Plenty of room in the room for activities for the little one.

Quiet location, I would have liked a bit more walking trails, I got the impression from the brochure that there were longer walkable paths, not just beach/tidal areas.

Nothing comes to mind, it was well equipped and considering it was VERY cold outside we were comfortable with the split system on heater mode and the electric blankets and bedding were comfortable.

The studio rooms are spacious and clean, full kitchen and everything you need. Being next to the estuary and boardwalk is lovely, and the grass and picnic tables and bbq etc The numberplate recognition on the entry is also so handy. Awesome 👌

There was no heat in the bathroom, but it wasn't too cold and as it was freezing outside, it was pretty good really.

Located on the beachfront and within ten minutes drive of both central Nelson and Richmond. Room exceeded my expectations in terms of size, appearance and comfort. Friendly & helpful reception staff as well as a decent on site Cafe.

The only grievance I had was out of the control of the holiday park itself which was other guests not abiding by quiet hours. Granted the site provided out of hours numbers for this, however due to the length of my stay, I opted to not bother.

Nice location and good facilities

It could have had a few more cooking pans/utensils as we were there for a week and was difficult to cook meals. Also maybe a few more outdoor seating as where we were located our neighbours gathered on the bench right outside our window and there was quite a few of them smoking etc and felt quite intrusive right outside the lounge window. And we weren’t able to sit outside

Great location and very quiet at night. I love staying here to be close to the beach after working in the city during the day. There’s never any worry about other people’s noise if you’re in an apartment cabin as they are seperate buildings. Good that there’s a compost bin in the unit, they just need a recycling bin too.
