The Hotel is located in a very good place, close to the important sights of HCM. The room was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped, hygienic and clean. The staff of the hotel was helpful.

The pool schedule is until 7PM, and if you are exploring HCM, you won't have time to enjoy a late evening pool swim, so I think that the hotel can expend the program of the pool. We didn't like the coffee provided for breakfast. For a country with such experience in coffee they could do better than an americano in a hot tube.

The friendliest staff ever, great location, nice rooms. Probably the best Hotel we stayed in in Vietnam - but also the most expensive.

The coffee. I mean, this is by far the most expensive hotel, we stayed in in Vietnam, and it is probably the WORST coffee I ever had IN MY LIFE. It is like they try to save money on coffee, and therefore make is SO thin, so all you get is a cup of warm water with coffee-flavor. Doesn’t fit the rest of the standard of the Hotel.

The hotel seems pretty new and well maintained. The room was very quiet and cleaned, and the bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was also offering quite a lot of local and western options. There is also a cafeteria next to reception where you can have some drinks during the day. The location was also great, very centric, and pretty close to everything

Although the hotel is non-smoking, we could smell some cigarettes during the early morning hours. Maybe we were near some exit for the staff where they could smoke. During the day, I was bringing with me a small towel for refreshing because of the warm temperature, and I left a letter in the room on the second day asking where this towel was. I can understand if this was missing on the checkout, but it was not, so I was a bit surprised.

My wife was feeling sick so she couldn't make breakfast. I offered to go get w couple of sandwiches but was told this was nit possible thr lack of empathy left a sour taste in my mouth. Botj of us skipped the meal and i waited for her to recover suffering from gastric as a result of not eating. Train your staff to have some empathy

Hotel has excellent staff and are very accommodating of requests. I asked for an early check in and got one (paid). The hotel facilities are good. Pool and gym are decent. The family suites were in penthouse that had a good view.

Breakfast had very limited vegetarian options. The staff did prepare veggie fried rice and noodle upon request. It was difficult for the fourth person to stay in the suite. It was good for 3. We could squeeze 4 due to sofa.

From the moment I arrived, the staff stood out for their professionalism and friendliness. Every team member I interacted with was not only well-behaved but also spoke excellent English, which made communication smooth and enjoyable. Breakfasts were another highlight of my stay. Each morning, I looked forward to a delicious spread with a wide variety of options to suit every taste-fresh pastries, fruits, hot dishes, and more. It was the perfect way to start the day. The rooms themselves were spotless and well-maintained. Housekeeping did a fantastic job ensuring everything was clean and comfortable throughout my stay. I was surprised to find that my room key card was able to unlock other guest rooms. This happened by mistake, but it immediately raised concerns about the security protocols in place. I believe this is a serious issue that the hotel management should address promptly to ensure the safety and privacy of all guests.

The location was phenomenal. I was less than a 5 min walk from Independence Palace, less than 10 min from the post office and other key tourist spots. I was less than 10 min from Diamond shopping center and right outside of the hotel was a cell phone carrier, so I purchased data quickly because I wanted an e-sim and the airport only had physical sims. To the right of the hotel, is a Jolibee and close by are plenty of convenience stores so that you can easily purchase snacks. Breakfast was delicious. It was obviously Vietnamese centered, but they had mini pancakes, cereal, and other Western comforts. I stuck with the Vietnamese foods despite being an American because I have allergies. The breakfast selection was also great because it wasn’t the same every day which I appreciated.

I only received one room key. I was traveling solo, and I understand for safety and cost effectiveness, but I wish that I could have charged a few devices while I was sightseeing, but you needed your card to re-enter the room and to use the elevator. I could have left it and then asked them to let me in, but it wasn’t worth it.

The Orchid Saigon is a lovely property located in the centre of Ho Chi Minh City. Our room was a corner room and therefore was quite large and even included a bathtub. The swimming pool area was quite nice and offered a nice view of the city. Food was good overall. Hotel offers some good tours and sightseeing options if requested.

The staff seemed a little overworked. We were not allowed to refill our water bottles (you could only purchase bottles from the hotel). Even though the restaurant is quite large it only remained open for breakfast. Rest of the meals can be had in the room or in the lobby cafe, and it's a little inconvenient.

The front desk staff is among the best I have experienced in Vietnam. Especially Trung the doorman, he was always available to recommend solutions to questions or problems I had. The pool staff is very attentive. Housekeeping did an amazing job with the room everyday. The tours they offer are very fairly priced with great, personable guides. Be careful about messing up the floor towel for the shower entrance. Apparently you’ll be charged if it gets visually scuffed with non-white color. The location is great too, district 3 has more green spaces and better restaurants around the property. It’s on the edge of district 3 so you can easily walk to district 1.

The breakfast was consistently cold. I would understand the first couple days when I arrived for breakfast around 9:30. But even at 7am upon freshly opening most things were cold, even in the warming trays. Some noodles and fried rice were ok and slightly warm. I would only recommend the Pho. But I have had cold pancakes and other stuff at other hotels so maybe they’re not warm intentionally? I’m not sure but that’s my only complaint and it’s a small one. Vietnam isn’t a breakfast society anyway, go to the plethora of food and coffee shops around the hotel for a pre-lunch snack.
