More suitable for biz travellers than for a holiday. Not much character in its decor. Expected better fr an Oberoi after having experienced Udaivillas, Amarvillas and Jaipur. Entry into hotel is crowded and sometimes chaotic. Asked for extra luggage rack twice but never arrived. Service inconsistent. Food at restaurants was excellent and chefs clearly very passionate providing the best experience to diners.

The Indian restaurant in the hotel on floor 1. The waiter didn't warn us we had ordered too much food for two of us and had to give the food away as we ordered too much. Waste of £150! The food was great especially the mains but we ordered way to much and wasn't warned by the lady serving us which is poor service. The lady waiter was caught gossiping about us when we complained about the food we had ordered and she should have notified us it would have been too much for two people.

The food is really great / the staff are so nice starting from sachel who checked us in to every single worker there.

The AC isn’t bad but when I’m sleeping I wake up midnight sweating because it heats up.

I had a truly wonderful stay at The Oberoi Mumbai. The food was absolutely delicious, with each meal being thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The staff were superb—always warm, professional, and attentive to every detail. What impressed me most was the exceptional cleanliness throughout the hotel, from the lobby to the room. Everything felt polished and pristine, making the entire experience both comfortable and luxurious.

The only thing I didn’t like was that the pricing for the mini fridge items wasn’t clearly listed in the room or readily available. I only found out the costs at the end of my stay. While it wasn’t a major issue, having that information upfront would have been helpful. Other than that, it was truly a perfect hotel experience.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel – an excellent experience in every aspect. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The breakfast was varied and delicious, catering to different tastes. What impressed me the most was the attitude of the staff – incredibly polite, professional, and always ready to help. The Butler Service was a standout feature, offering assistance with unpacking and packing, and even carefully wrapping fragile items. The hotel’s spa is not to be missed. It offers rejuvenating treatments inspired by Indian and Eastern traditions, leaving you feeling refreshed and relaxed. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be returning.

It’s my third time visiting this hotel and it always lives up to its standards. The service is exceptional. Everyone is warm and yet very professional! It’s just how it should be. Also the food is really good. Special thanks to Ms Akanksha and her team at Fenix for making my birthday extra special. And also to Batei at Vetro for her really warm welcome every morning! Everyone tries to really go out of the way to make you feel comfortable. Thank you.

The rooms could use a bit of a makeover. Some things are a little old and worn out. But that’s only because everything else is exceptional in comparison.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Oberoi Mumbai, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff truly make this hotel shine — every single person I encountered was incredibly warm, friendly, and genuinely hospitable. Whether it was a warm greeting in the hallway or the attentive service at the entrance downstairs, the team consistently went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and cared for. The location is absolutely excellent — perfectly situated with easy access to key landmarks, business districts, and the beautiful Marine Drive. It made exploring the city so convenient, yet the hotel still felt like a calm oasis away from the bustle. Breakfast each morning was absolutely lovely, with a great variety of delicious options. The pool area was also a wonderful place to unwind — peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained. Highly recommended!

My stay at The Oberoi Mumbai was exceptional. The property is luxurious, well-maintained, and in a perfect location with stunning views. What truly made the experience memorable was the staff—extremely courteous, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. A special mention goes to Malika, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The entire team was professional and welcoming, and the cleanliness throughout the hotel was impeccable.

We arrived in Mumbai in the middle of the night and from the moment we were met by the Oberoi driver we were made to feel at home. A member of staff greeted us straight from the car and handled check in inside our room so we could be comfortable. The room had been decorated for my husband’s birthday which was a nice touch. The service during our entire stay was impeccable. From the staff servicing our rooms, the waitstaff in the champagne bar and Eau bar, the baggage/driver staff, the concierge, and the pool staff, everyone was superb and couldn’t have made more of an effort to make our stay more comfortable. We have since travelled to a different city in India which doesn’t have an Oberoi and the difference in service is stark. The Oberoi is best in class.
