The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Nothing was any trouble. Room was clean and comfortable. Location close to station, shops and restaurants etc. Breakfast choices looked good. We had to leave early and staff kindly provided a packed meal for us to take, which was very helpful . We were also able to get an orange juice and coffee in the breakfast restaurant before we left. Room gave partial view of the amazing scenery but difficult to get full view anywhere in such a good location due to the proximity of other hotels. Would definitely recommend this hotel and the excellent staff.

There was nothing not to like.

Superb location 5min walk from the train station. The staff was very friendly, we came before the check-in time and were able to drop off our bags and use the changing rooms. The room was clean and quiet, the only thing that would've made it better is having a kettle and a mini fridge in the room. The hotel has spa facilities, with sauna, hammam, aromatherapy space and a relaxation room, free of charge for the hotel guests. It was a lovely way to relax and unwind after all day in the mountains, the facilities were clean and not crowded, we were provided with free bathrobes at the reception. The breakfast was wonderful, a great spread of hot and cold breakfast foods, as well as a wide selection of teas, nice coffee, and all this with a beautiful view of the mountains through the cafe windows.

No kettle and mini fridge in the room.

To be honest, this hotel is great!! There are so many choice at Breakfast. No complain. View is great. Location is little off from center so Quiet but it takes 3-5 mins to center by walking. People are super duper friendly. This is highly recommend. during summer in August you can see Cheese making in traditional way from A-Z. Also you can taste while lady is making cheese. Husband and wife from somewhere in Alpes and show us how to make cheese. You can't miss this. Please ask hotel and make book during this event. I met hotel Manager Carol. She was so nice and explained me. I do highly recommend this hotel !!!

The room I requested, with a mountain view facing the Matterhorn, was very spacious and clean. There was a table and chairs on the balcony, where I could also see the Matterhorn. The weather was good on the first night of our two-night stay, and I was thrilled to see the Matterhorn turn red at sunrise from the room. The food at the hotel’s restaurant was very delicious, and since it gets crowded, I recommend making a reservation. It is conveniently located within walking distance from Zermatt station, even with a suitcase.

There were no points of dissatisfaction.

Bedroom was spacious, beds very comfortable (even the pop up bed!), breakfast was delicious, lots of space in the dining room, loved the lounge with the fire, but the stand out of the whole stay was the staff! The staff were lovely, so helpful, nothing was too much trouble, and really went above and beyond.......I was travelling with my mum and dad (mum is in a wheelchair and dad has alzheimers so it was quite challenging but you made our stay very memorable, thank you!

This hotel was just an 8-10 min walk from the main train station. It's less than 10 min walk from the start of main street shopping and restaurants. It's also only 15 min from a lovely view point trail overlooking the village of Zermatt. Included a lovely breakfast buffet with all swiss meats, cheeses, breads, cereals and coffee and tea. There is also 3 types of Saunas, including an aromatherapy sauna which was amazing and so relaxing after being on trains, and on my feet all day! Staff spoke very good English and were so pleasant. I was able to leave my bag there after check out while I spent the day on the Gornergrat tour... also highly recommended. They then drove me back to the station in their electric shuttle. I will stay there again! Beautiful views of the Mattehorn from the entrance!

It was perfect

Staying at Alpine Hotel Perren, Zermatt, was a great experience. From the time of booking to our actual stay, the staff were so helpful and always returned messages. They could not do enough to help and it was greatly appreciated. They also have a shuttle from the station at a small cost which you can book in advance. The location was amazing with a view of the Matterhorn from our balcony. Breakfast was excellent and very enjoyable. Very highly recommended.

great place to stay. so there are a lot of places to stay in Zermatt, clean, up to date room, comfortable and the price was really good for what i got. staff were friendly, location is great, about 7 min walk to the train stop. the buffet breakfast was excellent. eating in Zermatt and Switzerland can be expensive so having a great breakfast helped the budget. lol

The desk staff was so helpful with every question we had. Breakfast was delicious. Everyone in the restaurants were very friendly. Loved that our room had a balcony. Location was perfect.

Basic rooms. Would have loved a fridge in the room, also would have preferred to have adjoining rooms since our family needed more than 1 room.. the only thing missing was an outdoor hot tub to relax in after our incredible ski days.

I liked this hotel, breakfast if I went there personally was tasty. I liked nice Glass lift, I liked living room with retro old things also finally I liked my small room.

Sometimes If I missed breakfast I got not good packet with me to my tour for example old hard sandwich that I put away and also bed cover should be thinner bcs it was too hot for me and sauna was nice but too much hot I thing about 90 gradus, so I could stay there only 1 minute.
