I walked up to the motel from the train station, as the taxi driver said he would charge me $40.00. I arrived at Reception, I was exhausted from the 8 minute walk up a steep hill with 30 kg of luggage. I was given an excellent room. I asked for ice, an iron and an ironing board. The girls ordered my 5 am taxi for the next morning for my international flight. I ordered in Thai as a suggestion from the Receptionist. I left my mobile charger on the train, the Receptionist let me use one there. I had a gorgeous stay, the staff were a million dollars. Will stay again.

Appreciated that reception staff understood my query regarding early check in. Even though I still had to pay the $10 per hour rate, I was offered a better room and a free soft drink.

For a taxi driver or uber there is literally zero place to stop and drop off/ pickup - because incredibly busy roads (even at 04.00). And if you think you’re saving on hotel rates by not staying at one of the airport hotels across the road from the airport, the approximate cost of an Uber to and from the hotel came to more than $70 for a distance of under 2 km both ways. Rooms are not that sound proof especially if other people sitting outside and chatting on their mobile phones late at night.

The hotel was in easy reach of the airport which was important after having to change to a new flight the next morning and then get back to the airport early the next day using the 420 city bus line. The evening staff met us with a smile and quickly helped us to check-in which allowed us to get a good night's sleep. Air-conditioning worked well and the ensuite was clean and allowed us to have a much needed shower.

The only little glitch was the street noise due it's location on the corner of two busy city streets. But hey, it's a city location.

Excellent front desk reception staff especially Pedro who upgraded my room (I appreciated having ground floor room) & was extremely helpful in explaining where to catch the bus to the airport which saved an expensive taxi ride. Location close to airport. Beautifully furnished hotel. Access to microwave

The aircon was faulty- I couldn’t change the temperature or mode on it. Bathroom could benefit from upgraded exhaust fan (prevent more mould to ceiling shower). A large cockroach running around my room - better door seals would prevent them.

Close by to airport for the earliest flight. Chandeliers in the lobby lounge. Thoughtfulness of supplied earplugs for being by noise of a busy road & near airport. Reception service was high quality, warm & friendly with a smile.

When u walk into a room that’s been closed up & aircon off and the first smell is musty in need of some air circulation & a more welcoming fragrance. However I fixed it by putting the aircon on straight away.

We use the Airport Hotel regularly as it is close to Arncliffe train station and convenient for travel into the city without parking hassles. It is also only 10 minutes drive from the airport. The rooms are adequately equipped although rather quirky, with every one appearing to have a different shape due to the peculiar orientation of the old building which was renovated to its present form.

There is no parking at the hotel, but we always manage to find a street spot up the hill near the school. Finding the right way in can be a bit confusing. Our room this time was off the central circulation area on the ground floor and we were disturbed by people coming and going in the late hours.

Hey, arrived exhausted from Malaysia. (Grumpy Sydney Cabbie !).. Beautiful man behind the desk was sooo kind and helpful , served me a little drink :) met a fellow traveller to share ! Just LOOOOved the ambiance !My room was sooo cool, super clean, and tastefully decorated ! ! ! I just loooove this place .... If I EVER HAVE to come to Sydney ? ? ? I'm a Gold Coaster I could stay here .. (if they'd have me ?) Just love this beautiful little oasis ! XXXXOOOO Natalie Newman

The venue is very deceptive, lovely and well located. The room was very comfortable and made the most of all available space. Check in was really informative with the warning about the road noise, with ear plugs provided, pretty cool. Off street parking is nice and quiet and the beds are super comfy.

The fan in the shower was pretty clogged with dust so had a hard time keeping up with two people showering every day.

The room was much cheaper than others nearby, and there was a take-out place just one block away with fantastic food. The staff were kind and friendly and helpful and the room was nice and clean. There was a late check out available (for an extra fee) which made my stay much more comfortable and saved me hours of waiting around for my flight at the Sydney airport.

It's important to note that taxis aren't allowed to park right outside the hotel (they risk a large fine) so they prefer to pick up passengers from just around the corner. The taxi driver still came to the door and helped me with my bags, so it wasn't a huge problem.

Great value for money. Within walking distance from Arncliffe train station. Double bed in single room. Came with a fridge, kettle and hairdryer. Easy check-in/out process. Spacious for one person. Had private toilet/shower.

There were no major faults this is just a few nitpicky things I noticed. No elevator although only one flight of stairs. Limited window visibility/function. Bed was half in ensuite and half in the normal room so was at a slight angle + kept tripping over the lip from 'bedroom' to 'bathroom'
