Staff were very friendly and wonderful to deal with. Breakfast, included, was great with lots of variety and some main items changed every day of our stay so never tired of the options. Very nice to have free water, snacks, and coffee available 24 hours in the lobby and restocked daily in room. Rooms simple, but very nicely done and comfortable. Free laundry off of lobby a bonus to have, especially on those hot and muggy days. Amazingly quiet for being on main street and hotel undergoing renovation construction. Incredible location right next to metro station and across from Da'an Park. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience from front desk check-in to housekeeping! Clean, modern rooms, free laundry facilities, great buffet breakfast and fabulous location next to Daan Park MRT. Rooms have complimentary snacks and coffee with the most thoughtful housekeeping staff I’ve ever experienced! The housekeeper even recognized that I preferred a certain flavor of cookie and left me an extra of that cookie in my room. At Dandy I experienced thoughtful, attentive and PERSONALIZED Service. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. This will be my only hotel in Taipei.

Comparing to the other hotel we moved from there were less amenities even though both have same star rating. Hotel going under renovation of rooms, we haven’t heard much of this it didn’t bother. However, noise of AC or fridge were disturbing. If I knew I would book room with Park view. Our friend’s room were bigger and had a beautiful view. We wanted to upgrade but no rooms were available.

The staff were SO incredibly friendly, we were able to store our bags before and after the trip, the bathroom was huge and clean, the location was incredible -- just next to the metro -- and the breakfast was absolutely divine! Highlights were definitely the kind staff, the luggage storage, and the location!

We didn't realize at first that to turn off the air you needed to point it at a specific spot on the ceiling, so we spent the first couple of days a little chilly. :) But as soon as we asked, the staff fixed it for us immediately and kindly!! They also provided us extra comforters!

The location is really convenient; a really nice park across the street, MRT nearby, Dongmen (restaurants and shopping) within walking distance. The rooms were very nice and had everything I needed; the breakfast had great variety and quality. Laundry room is also a really nice convenience. Overall a great value, I'll be recommending this hotel to my coworkers that make similar business trips, and likewise recommend it here!

The WiFi was a bit inconsistent on 8th floor, and I found it easier to use mobile data/tethering

Staff was very responsive. When I encountered problems with ants in my room, I was quickly moved to a different room. Breakfast was really good, actually! In particular, I loved the alfalfa and pea sprouts which most places don't have and are super yummy! Plus soy milk, congee, and pretty good soups of the day! Room was SUPER clean - housekeeping did A+ job. Bathtub was clean, and while not huge the room (I got a Deluxe) was a good size for me and great value for price/location. Location was A+. Loved being so close to buses, the MRT and Daan Park! Wifi is not so great. That's why if you want to work out of this hotel they give you a Ethernet cable. Unfortunately, most Macbooks nowadays don't have Ethernet cables. :( Would need to buy an adapter if you want reliable Internet here I think. Also, loved having laundry for free in the building! As a long-term traveler, this was much appreciated. In my opinion, the cost/performance ratio of this hotel is fantastic and I'd happily stay in it long term. For context, on this trip I also stayed at the Grand Hyat and while this is obviously not 5 star it is I think up to par in terms of cleanliness and I'd be happy to stay here if I was planning a longer-term stay in Taipei.

There were a lot of ants in my first room. Staff quickly moved me to another room where there were no ants, which was good, but yeah not good. There is only one elevator, so sometimes you have to wait a long time to go up and down the hotel.

The room was tidy. The size was just right for me and my two friends. There was no unusual noise or anything that disturbed us especially at night when we were about to go to sleep or while we were sleeping. Their buffet breakfast was a good way to start the busy day ahead for sightseeing. The location is perfect! It is extremely close to the train station. This made it a lot easy for us to go around the city. The hotel staff arranged our pick up from and to the airport. We notified them that our flight getting into TPE was delayed. They made the necessary adjustments right away. They were very helpful. Also, they were always smiling every time we got in and got out of the hotel. And, the free treats at the lobby I appreciated it very much.

- All staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful - there was a leak in our bathroom roof but we informed reception and it was fixed by the time we returned in the evening - You can order pineapple and other pastries from a number of major brands from reception and they will arrive in 24 hours - saves time running to the shops! - Snacks and drinks in our room were all complimentary and topped up each day - Seems very kid-friendly, with a kids' play corner and kids' bibs at the breakfast area. According to the information file in our room, they have strollers and bottle sterilisers available for loan if you need those

- There's only one small lift, so it can be quite a wait - Our room was cold and I couldn't seem to adjust the aircon temperature at all. It was only on our last morning that I read the information file on our room table and realised you need to point the remote control *at the ceiling*, and there would be a beep sound if the aircon settings were successfully changed 🥲

Convenient location next to MRT exit. Daan park is in central Taipei. Excellent breakfast included, with some new dishes each day. Kettle provided in room. Snacks and coffee available 24 h. 7-11 store in attached building.

Room did not have much storage for clothing. No drawers. Limited closet space. While we were staying on the third floor, there was remodeling in progress and a loud hammer drill was in use all day.

The breakfast and service at breakfast was excellent. They had a lot of choices for food and drinks. They always had drinks available all day and snacks at night. We stayed during Christmas holiday and they had special dinners/snacks at night and activities for children. The rooms were clean and serviced well. The location was very convenient to the train station and activities, like Dongman Market and Yong Kang Street. Da'an Park is right across the street and great if you like to jog. Free laundry machines to use was a plus!

The hotel was under construction, so there wasn't a lobby. But we were allowed to use the basement restaurant area to gather. The bathroom are windows into the room. There is an opaque stripe so you can't see inside, however when the light in on, it brightens the whole room. This made it difficult to sleep when people were using the bathroom.
