Old world charm that has been maintained. Go here for an original experience. Don't expect all modern updates, but value the well maintained originality of what would have been a top of the line hotel. The room was incredibly light, big and comfortable. Bed was great. Everything had been maintained well in the room, this will definitely be my go to in Milan. Loved the detailing across the hotel. I read about people saying there was train noise - this is so negligible, the rooms are insulated so you barely hear anything. From a light sleeper, i wouldn't even take it as a point.

There's not a huge amount of vibe or atmosphere in the hotel if that's what you're looking for, but the room and location is perfect.

The Auriga Hotel in Milan may have a slightly old-fashioned style, but that actually adds to its charm. I stayed in a single room for one night after a cancelled flight, and it met my expectations perfectly. The temperature in the room was just right, and the Wi-Fi was surprisingly fast and stable (no annoying login page, just quick and easy access, which made it ideal for getting some work done). The highlight was definitely the staff: extremely professional, and impressively efficient; they had a taxi booked for me to the airport at 4 AM in under three minutes.

While the hotel’s vintage character has its appeal, some aspects are clearly showing their age. The bathroom could use a bit of a refresh, and the electrical outlets were quite worn, making it tricky to plug in devices securely. These small details didn’t ruin the stay, but they are noticeable and could be improved to enhance the overall experience.

Great location near the station with some good restaurants nearby. Good sized room (for Italy) with attractive furnishings. Substantial breakfast in a lovely breakfast room which doubled as a bar in the evening. Staff attentive and friendly.

Our room (105) has some slight plumbing issues: the temperature of the water from the fixed shower was scalding and could not be adjusted although there was also a flexible hand held shower head which sufficed. Also, there was a sound of water running constantly but it was not emanating from our bathroom.

I liked the place - it feels old and 20th-century-hotel in a good way. It's an excellent option if you travel by train and basically only need to spend the night in Milano, as I did, or if you just prefer being near the train station. Fair price, really decent and clean room, friendly and very accommodating staff.

The curtains in my room had these plastic stops placed mid-track that made it impossible to draw them all the way and fully block out the streetlight/early morning sun. This seemed unnecessary in a weird way, but didn't have a huge impact, fortunately.

staff was friendly and helpful as expected from italy, room was clean and comfy, i also was surprised i had a balcony and a great location if you want a hotel near the milan central train station, but not that great of a location if you want the doumo as you'll have to walk 25 minutes to get there, but for me it wasn't an issue i enjoy walking

We really enjoyed staying at Hotel Auriga - the location was perfect, as we had a train the next day from Milano Centrale. Checking in was quick and easy, the room was spacious and good black out blinds, a fantastic temperature, and lots of space to put our travel cot for our 20-month old. The breakfast was basic but didn't lack in anything we needed, had lots of options for the kids too. The staff were excellent throughout - I accidentally forgot a necklace at the hotel room which has a lot of emotional value. When I called the hotel a few days later, they informed me they had found it and kept it, and offered to post it to my address which they did very promptly and they even covered the expense. This was much appreciated!

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Especially an elder male working in the restaurant was a real gentleman. The location of the hotel is fantastic, very close to the railway station. The decoration is very vintage, a very colourful style.

The bathroom is small and has a low flow of water from the shower. But this is understandable given that this is a vintage hotel. I don't think it would be a problem for a short stay of a few days.

It was an excellent stay in Auriga. Everything meets our expectation. The location, in particular, is perfect. It is 5 minutes walk to the Contral Station. The bus terminal to the airport is so close and convenient. Your staff members are very friendly and efficient. The breakfast is good enough. We are a group of 22 travellers. We arrived at the same time. Your manager processed our check-in promptly and efficiently without any delay or mistakes. I recommended this hotel to them. Everyone was happy with Auriga.

Room 105: giant/heavy key, almost impossible to unlock door. Shower head, best used to spray the floor, thankfully there's a hand held. Pillows... what the heck with these flat/hard things with pillowcases? Out door street noise, thankfully, it wasn't continuous throughout the night. Breakfast... only somewhat decent, but filling.

The Hotel is simply the perfect place for a family getaway! We spent wonderful days enjoying the comfort and coziness of this hotel. The hotel's location is ideal for family vacations – close to attractions and with convenient access to public transportation. The breakfasts were delightful – a wide variety of dishes satisfied each of us. But perhaps most importantly, the friendly and attentive staff created an atmosphere of warmth and comfort throughout our stay. We will gladly return here again and again!
