We had a lovely stay here, we couldn’t fault a thing from our stay apart from due to it being such a small town their is a lack of restaurants, bars and such but the restaurants we visited still left us full and happy every night. The host really goes above and beyond to make you feel at home, despite the language barrier he utilised good translate as much as he could to help accommodate us. Definitely recommend the location is absolutely beautiful.

Everything was more than perfect. Mr Necas, the owner, is an amazing and authentic person with a beautiful soul, always ready to help and guide in all the needs. I adore this Gentleman, a marvelous person, and a magic B&B. Go there and you'll have the most amazing views at any moment of the day or the nigh to the Douro river and Vallée!

Everything was perfect... I mean, excellent! Breakfast was variated and ideally proposed. Just marvelous! Always a bottle of wine in the fridge to taste in cal amd peace, by the fire place!

Our stay exceeded all expectations! The property is perfectly located, offering a breathtaking view on the river from our room. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We even got many tasty and homemade jams for breakfast. The entire place was super clean, warm, and cozy, making it feel like a home away from home. We very much enjoyed our time and would highly recommend Case Vale do Douro.

- Spectacular view , even from your bed ... - Clean room - Clean bath room - Super friendly staff. in fact this is not hotel , but a house , which you are guest in it ! owner cannot speak English well, but with google translate and etc you can manage it. So no worries at all. - Ok breakfast. it is not like buffet in hotel , but it is ok.

- For us, Bed were not comfortable. But it can be ok for others. - Room will be cleaned if you ask for. it is not like hotel to be cleaned everyday automatically.

Stunning views; fresh homegrown fruit for breakfast along with all the other goodies; beautiful pool overlooking the Douro Valley. Cleand and comfortable facilities. Manuel was a charming and personable host; much hilarity with some mistranslations with googletranslate.

Every room has a fantastic view of the Douro River! The casa was a great base for us to explore the Douro region from. It is also a short walk from Mesão Frio, which has good options for cafes and dinner. Our host couldn’t have been nicer and went the extra mile to be sure we were comfortable, including having his English-speaking son on hand to make check-in easy. The daily breakfast was delicious!

Amazing views of the Douro Valley and the river. The host was extremely welcoming and accommodating, and had many suggestions about the area. The breakfast was so fresh and delicious. Would highly recommend staying here!

Very nice small property with a true home-feeling. Manuel is an amazing host doing everything with much love. Exceptional view from the rooms and garden over the Duoro valley and very nice breakfast to start a day.

The village where the guest house is located does not have much options for a dinner. Please be ready to drive a bit.

Everything was perfect. The host was so so so nice. The place was relaxing. There was a swimming pool, can swim and take sunbath. I like to sit at the sofa beside the pool, read and enjoy coffee and the view of the valley. The host recommended serval restaurants, all were good.

The apartment and the whole house was beautiful and clean. You can see that the host takes great care of it. The communication was perfect, he advised us about the restaurant. Great breakfast and available parking. Great location with a beautiful view of the Duoro river valley.
