This is a very centrally located hotel with comfortable rooms able to accommodate a family of 4. I really liked these rooms, bathroom, hotel's general vibe. Parking can be booked in advance but you have to inquire. It was nice having a breakfast option in the hotel.

The central location is a bit of a mixed bag. The hotel like most in France has no air conditioning. Which required leaving the balcony door open in the summer. But there were throngs of loud crowds all day and up until 11pm or later. Like really loud. One drunk group of men woke us singing down the street at 2am. And then garbage and delivery trucks at 6am. This is not a quiet mountain town. So sleeping was not great here, not due to anything specific the hotel did wrong. With the balcony door closed the room was stagnant and hot.

We loved that we could walk to bars, restaurants, tourist shops, grocery stores, etc. Chamonix is a VERY fun place and this hotel is in the middle of it all. Our family room was comfortable and reasonably priced. The bar/restaurant downstairs was not too rowdy or loud. Be sure to book parking in advance, there are few spots, and they're small. We drove each day to the lifts rather than take the bus or walk, because they're pretty far and the bus does not drop off at an ideal location. A lot of people had to walk far up hill to get to the lift in the Brevant area.

The breakfast was gross. Fruit was rotten, the only eggs were very cold hard boiled eggs (not fresh), and we did not find the breakfast worth the money. We are not a picky family, but none of us liked the food. We ate at nearby cafes with much better value for money.

The location is the key to this stay. 2 minutes from the central train station and the view of the mountains through the wide windows. The cleanliness, staffs, and comfort is perfect. The bathroom was spacious, so was the room. The beds were wide and comfortable. The balcony is a plus. Right in the middle of all shops and restaurants, but closing the door blocks all chaos. The luggage store room was very nice and secure.

The internet was a bit slow. So for workation(work+vacation), it could be a minor problem.

Comfortable and very well-located hotel (I always stay there). Most importantly, it's reliable and helps you when you have a problem. We were stranded in Switzerland for four days without power, in the dark, with no places to eat, road and train connections cut off, etc. We couldn't get to Chamonix on the dates we booked, and the hotel understood this and gave us a voucher valid for 1.5 years so we wouldn't lose our reservation. They weren't obligated to, but they understood our situation. Hats off to Pointe Isabelle.

Location is amazing - right near the center of the town. The staff are all lovely and helpful. We had a room on the 4th floor which was small but perfect for 2; even had AC!

Breakfast options limited, but the coffee was very good!

Incredible location in the centre of Chamonix. You literally walk out the front doors up one street (2 mins slow walk) and are in the centre. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The room and the hotel overall is amazing! The bar is really reasonably priced too. We didn’t get parking at the hotel (unfortunately it wasn’t available) but there are plenty of car parks located near the hotel at a very reasonable price ( we parked at a car park about a 5 min walk, for €19.50 for 24 hrs in the centre of Chamonix)

The gym was a little basic, no treadmill but understandable as who wouldn’t want to go for a run outside with those views!

The hotel’s service should be rated at 4-5 stars. We were greeted by Lupi during check in and he was professional and friendly. During the rest of the stay, everyone we met at the hotel from housekeeping to the breakfast staff were smiley and kind. Luggage storage before and after checkout was convenient too. We had the triple room with breakfast( extra charges ), Breakfast was good with a nice spread and well worth the price. Location is right by MontBlanc Station and a close 5min bus ride from Chamonix Bus station. Point to note was the good communication from booking up till stay.

Modern, clean, and spacious room with a nice balcony over looking the plaza. The hotel is about ten minutes walk from the main train station, ten minutes from the central bus stops which can take you to all the ski areas, and fifteen minutes walk to Le Brevent ski area. I recomend you to take the bus because it's up hill, but do walk back after riding. We did it in the cold rain. It's worth getting soak and strange looks from coffee shop customers. The best sauna I had ever been in. It's on the top floor with views of the mountains, the ski lifts, and the town. Great breakfast in a beautiful dining room with views of the plaza. Helpful and kind staff.

The hotel was easy to spot; the location was pretty central, close to shops and restaurants, and just a stone's throw away from the train station, which was very convenient. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, and the store room for luggage after checking out was huge. The bar downstairs was as cozy as the room. We absolutely enjoyed our stay.

Having a kettle in the room or a hot water dispenser in the hall would have made our stay better.

there isn't ventilation in my room. There's no AC, which is fine for comfort because opening the balcony doors easily solves it. However when you shower, the steam is trapped in your room. There's a vent in the bathroom but it's not something you can turn on/off. I don't think it's passively on too. In the room itself, there is no HVAC, so the steam just escapes the bathroom and stays in your room. I have to open the balcony doors for a bit and let the humidity completely out of my room for a while. Simply making that bathroom vent work solves the entire problem.
